After my supposedly top-notch vacuum died after 3 years, I reluctantly found myself back in the market for a new one. Impulsively, I bought a $200 Bissell from the store and then came home to research it (backwards, I know). After discovering it had so-so reviews I decided to actually do my homework and see if there was anything new out there that wasn't a $400+ Dyson. After reading several reviews on LG products, I decided to give this a try. We've owned this for several weeks now and I am very pleased.We have 2 dogs and a cat as well as two active boys running in and out of the house. Vacuums are really put to the test here! It has great suction and as another reviewer wrote, when it is on the bare floor setting, nothing gets blown back at your legs. Even my old $400 vacuum didn't do that. It picks up pet hair very well and leaves nice vacuum marks on the carpet (I keep it on the low carpet setting). You can easily adjust the carpet rise with a step button so moving between carpets and rugs is painless. The auto-retract feature for the cord is awesome!This vacuum is heavy, more so than my last one, but it feels very solid and sturdy. The kompressor feature means that you don't have to empty your canister every time you vacuum and when you do, it doesn't come out in a haze of dirt and dust that you then have to re-vacuum up from around your garbage can. It is also easy to empty. One of the best features is the hose attachment. All you have to do is disconnect the hose from the bottom of the vacuum (it is not a separate hose but part of the regular vacuum mechanism), snap on an attachment and off you go! I can vacuum my entire staircase, leaving the vacuum at the bottom of the stairs. The rolling brush attachment for the hose gets the stairs very clean. When you're done you attach the hose back on the side of your vacuum with the magnetic closure and you're ready to go again.Very smart engineering here and lots of attention was paid in making it easy to use. I recommend!UPDATE: Here it is, May 2012. I had to send in my vacuum for servicing back in November 2011 because the carpet agitator portion of the vacuum managed to get stripped and the whole front end had to be replaced. I had to buy a cheapie replacement vacuum to use in the meantime because of course this happened during the holidays and dirt doesn't stop entering your home just because the vacuum died.Today, I was vacuuming along as usual and the whole vacuum quit. Kaput. I unplugged, hit the reset button, plugged back in and the only things that work are the agitator brush and the kompressor. You got it--absolutely zero suction. Called LG servicing and they are going to send me a box to ship the whole thing back again. I have to say, their customer service is excellent--they try to troubleshoot and then give you no hassle in sending it back--but the point is that I want to use the vacuum, not keep sending it back in for servicing! Luckily I still have my back-up vacuum purchased the last time this one died, but twice in one year of ownership is unacceptable for any vacuum, let alone one this expensive. I don't recommend this vacuumm.

Great phone with great specs at an amazing price. Its snappier than anything else you would find in this price range, the screen is beautiful and colors look rich and vibrant unlike HTC I have owned (incredible S/ Desire HD). Love the micro HDMI connector and the supplied cord it's a much less bulky solution than the MHL solution in My Galaxy S2. Battery life is a little less then my S2 but I usually get a day and 5-8 hrs between charges with wifi/ data on constantly and moderate use. The Geforce ULP is very good at gaming and doesn't make the phone hot like my S2. The camera is comparable to my old INC S and the video at 720p is better, at 1080p is worse than my S2 by far. I would suggest just recording in 720p the framerate is much better. Sometimes I do feel limited by the ram but I have TB installed and froze all the bloatware from running so it helps alot. My only con is the speaker volume when the phone is ringing even at the loudest setting it's just to tiny. This phone compared to the atrix is far smoother and snappier at basically every task I've tried even with lower ram, this is by far the best performance to price ratio for and android phone right now. I got mine from FGS trading, it was sealed in the box in perfect condition for 241.99 USD

For this price point i think this is a solid 5 star buy and here's why. Nothing else at this price has this level of agitation, suction or build quality that we have ran into. I noticed a few reviews speaking ill of the weight of this vacuum. Well, it does have very rugged cast iron motors and a solid frame. We use these vacuums as a commercial carpet cleaning company for the pre-vac before the truckmounts get going. In 18 months of daily use the only items that have needed replacement are the agitator bar and drive belt. cost for both? $30 shipped. the only fault i give this vacuum is in the design of the debris canister. LG chose to use a pressure fit plastic click lock rather than a slide lock or spring assisted metal lock. It hasn't broken yet but it is a potential weak spot. Still, for $149 you can buy 3 of these for the cost of one higher end vacuum. Performance wise these do an incredible job of removing dry pet hair and random debris. They are not however a shop-vac and will clog if you run over heavy hair or heavy grime. you also do not want to go over anything damp it will clog up like mcdonalds in your arteries.Better vacuums exist but i still have yet to find one at this price that's this good. This is a great bang for the buck vacuum.

I'd like to echo the 4 and 5 star reviews for this phone. It is excellent. It smoothly flicks through screens and launches apps very quickly.The main thing I'd like to add is don't be worried by the appearance of "sharp" edges of the phone or if you try the phone out in the store and feel it is uncomfortable to hold.What you're feeling is very stiff, clear tape that has been put on all the edges of the phone. I assume this is to protect the edges in shipping. Once you peel all those pieces of tape off all the edges are super smooth and makes it a pleasure to hold. LG has made one terrific phone. Superb build quality.

I love the camera, battery life and overall look and feel of this phone. What I don't like is that the Facebook application takes forever to load on this phone. I don't like that when texting, the cursor often jumped back to the beginning of my text message thus splitting my word up between the front of the message and somewhere near the bottom when I started typing that word. Yes, an update was released to fix that issue, but now the text auto-spell feature of the phone is messed up. Apparently the programmers can't get their fixes right. I've never had these issues with my previous two smart phones. I'd recommend this phone after all of the fixes have been released. I think it'll be very much worth the purchase.

I owned a Dyson animal. We got sick of constantly having to clean the nozzle as it would get clogged. It was horrible with big chunks of dirt. We bought a Kenmore canister vacuum and it has been awesome. My wife got sick of carrying the canister up and down the stairs so I figured I'd buy this vacuum to keep in the basement where most of the carpet in our house is.I couldn't be happier. I don't think there is a better vacuum on earth for this price. In fact, anyone who spends hundreds more on a Dyson is out of their mind. The compressor thing is cool and it holds a ton of dirt. I love how easy it is to empty, no mess. Comes with an extra filter.I'd give it five stars but the cord winder is weak sometimes and the cord gets pretty warm after vacuuming our 18x24 foot family room.

It may be a heavy brute but does it ever do the job. My carpet feels like new under my feet after using this. It misses nothing. The husband dumps the canister for me and he couldn't believe how well built this vacuum is and he is a fussy guy. It does a far superior job than my central vac. I love this thing so well that we bought a second one for our vacation home. As far as the idiots that complain that it overheats...well...dump it out when it gets full of dirt, any vacuum will overheat if not cleaned out now and then! (What do they expect? The dirt to just vanish for them and that they don't have to do anything ever again...lazy and ignorant! It would help if they had the brains to pull the hair out of the roller as well because the roller is clearly visible in the window, but then I suppose that is too much work for them too.) I LOVE THIS VACUUM!

Just got this phone as my 2 year upgrade. Read a lot on this one and others on sites like Engadget, Cnet, etc. And wow, this phone is everything as advertised. The feel of the phone is great, and the screen is fantastic looking at only half brightness. The speed at which you can switch between apps and screens is very impressive, and web pages load incredibly quickly, even on just 3G. On WiFi its even better. The battery life thus far has impressed me, it is much better than my old HTC Evo Shift. Plus the nice thing about the Sprint version, is there is virtually no carrier bloatware, except for Sprint ID which is actually useful for managing your account. The memory is about 25gb due to whatever space the OS takes up, so its not a full 32gb, but should be plenty.Definitely a great phone, and for just $100-$150 you cannot go wrong at all with this one.

I bought this as a potential substitute for my PS3 in the living room, but unfortunately it doesn't have everything I need.Blu-Ray FeaturesAs a Blu-Ray player alone, I can recommend it. Discs load fast and the quality on screen shines. The remote, though compact, has all of the standard useful buttons in a smart configuration.usbI've only tried this with a high resolution avi file, but this feature works really well. Frame rate is good and video quality is great.Media streamingNetflix works great on this. The experience is very similar to the PS3. Video loads quickly and runs smooth, good picture quality. Youtube and accuweather are also very usable. I didn't try vudu so I won't speak to that.DownsideThere's no apparatus for adding new media apps like Hulu or Amazon Streaming. Though the existing features all work well, I use these features very regularly.

its amazing how some people say the phone is crap and other people say it's great, we have had nothing but positive things to say about it.Gave it to my wife for her first android smart phone.She reminds me how much she likes it.battery last long, very fast, feels good in your hand, the only thing I can get a negative is that it needs a message light.don't get hung up on software updates 2.3 .5 works great. Have added 400 songs I'm still have 4gig to go on memory.hotspot and wifi works perfect.after researching just about all phone this 1 seems like the best deal.Enjoy it. We do.

Pros:Fast, very pretty screen, quad core, NFC is neat, 13MP camera. All things that are great and why I would recommend the phone.Cons:No removable battery, no expandable memory, LTE isn't in my area and it doesn't support wimax(although not a huge complaint), I love the search button on the older phones and I miss it but also not a big deal.Right now, I have had it for 2 days, I love the phone but I am hung up on the audio jack. I dont know if it might be defective or if it puts out enough power in general. I switched from the Evo 3d and I connect my music to my car. With my 3d i was very satisfied, it was loud, now with the optimus it sound significantly quieter. I have gone through all the settings and can't get it any better. I am considering buying a headphone booster.If I can get this resolved this will definitly move up to five stars!

Normally I love to give products good reviews, but this product is total crap. I bought it because it was on sale and said it had internet apps. LG's website also shows a full array of apps including amazon, netflix, and hulu. this is false. All you get is Vudu and Netflix and Pandora. there is no Amazon and hulu. i was hoping to be able to sell my roku, but that won't be the case. Whats the worst fact is that LG wont release any updates to add more apps. This product gets minimal use as Blu-ray as blu-ray is basically a dead format. Everything is internet apps, and this product does not have them.

Ive had this phone since September. It freezes. It has crappy battery life (only lasts about 2 and a half hours of fully charged at first. ) I charge it all night and when I leave to go to school I unplug it. Its only on for about an hour after I unplug it. Then I turn it off all day untilled school lets out and I get on the bus for an hour and a half. It dies before I get home.it freezes A LOT. It doesn't connect to wifi for very long. Its annoying! ! If you want to buy a nice smartphone, I reccomend not getting this one. Its a waste of money

I bought this because I needed a DVD/BLU ray player that also plays Netflix. Well, it plays Netflix alright - but all of my DVDs freeze up after about 1 hour into the movies, and then I get disk errors when trying to re-insert the DVDs. I have tested this with different DVDs, including recently purchased disks. I bought this at Best Buy about 80 days ago, so I am kind of SOL on getting a refund. Buyer beware. I might just have bad luck - but it worked fine when I bought it, I guess it wasn't meant to last more than a month or so.

Pros: it fit my phone and worked, for a while.Cons: lousy staying ability. The battery doesn't keep a charge for more than a few hours 3 months after purchase.I bought this to replace a worn out battery for my LG phone. It is now 3 months later and the battery doesn't last a day, in fact I usually have to recharge the battery a couple times a day.If you just want a battery that will get you going in an emergency, this would do that. I would not buy this battery again.

I'm going to make this review short and sweet. First off, I simply love this phone and is the best smart phone I've ever owned. It's smokin' fast and multitasks like no ones business. The interface is very user friendly and navigating around is a cinch. The only reason I gave this four stars rather than five was for the camera. Don't get me wrong, it takes good pictures but for a 13 megapixel camera it should take incredible pictures that blow even the Iphone cameras out of the water and that it does not. Other than the that this phone simply rocks. Quit thinking about it and get it!

We went from a home with no carpet to a home with a lot of carpet. We wanted a good vacuum cleaner that worked with wood floors and carpeting. Three months now, and it's still going strong and impressing us with the job it does. We keep the filters clean (glad it came with a second filter) and the suction is still exceptional. Love the compression, just pop the bagless container out and empty into the garbage, hands stay clean.

I have had my G2x 14 months now and had no serious problems. I have removed the battery twice in that time to do a hard reset but that seems a very minimum amount of trouble to me. Screen resolution looks as good as the retina display on my iPod, it's more than fast enough on download/upload speed tests on T-Mobile's local 4G network, never a dropped call and call quality is excellent. I've downloaded many utility apps (no games) and use those as well as the browser/search features frequently. Also heavy usage with email and SMS texting.I rated it 5 stars because I am totally satisfied with the phone and cannot find any reason to change models until this one simply gives up.

After having this smartphone for 1 1/2 years I can say that is an excellent Android based phone that gives you the sense of having a Top of Line product.Partners at the office (Iphone users) allways say that my phone has a beautifull look. It can run several apps at same time (Twitter, Facebook, Whatsapp, Games, Internet, Gmail, Etc.) with an acceptable speed of response. However i bougth a 32 GB mini SDcard so i won't worry about space for music, photos and more.Just to say someting negative, the pictures at low light are not the best, but come on... that's not a profesional camera!.

The cable does as it says it does. The only thing is that it does not inform you that it also has a spot on it for you to attach your charger to it on the side of the box. As long as your phone has been upgraded with the proper software it will work, However if the phone is not upgraded then this item will not allow you to view the phone. You will need addition software to be able to access your phone.

I wish this phone was perfect. It comes close for a while. Let me explain. Out of the box this phone was amazing. It was zippy and you could feel the processor power. BUT as time went by the phone became sluggish. It has a lot of crapware from the carrier that you cannot delete, and you also can't stop the processes from running in the background. It bogs down the power. Also depending on what apps you down load, they tend to store a lot of data (rss readers, podcast apps, etc). This also seem to slow the phone down. I have to restart every day to clear out the RAM and the battery life is also not that great. It needs to be charged every night. Granted this phone is a few years old now. If you are in the market for this phone you may want to look at the newly released samsungs and HTCs. I wouldn't recommend this phone to a friend.
