Купили данный аппарат на работу, в кабинет. Аппарат достался уже бывшим в употреблении, с пробегом около 150к отпечатанных страниц. При его стоимости в 3 000 рублей, за которую мы приобрели, сложно искать недостатки. Печатает отлично, скорость печати и сканирования более чем устраивают.
НО есть небольшой нюанс, который не относится к недостаткам самого аппарата напрямую, но тем не менее. Проблема в том, что...

очень тяжелый и основательный аппарат, по сети на удивление сам все нашел и подключился и драйвера скачал и установился. хотел поставить в другую комнату и сделать беспроводным, и тут, модем еще стоит покупать, и плюс он редкий,что синоним дорогой. Подготовил документы, слил на свою флешку, вставил в аппарат, а он выдает ошибку чтения флешки. я уже растроился, но прочитав 300 страничную инструкцию выяснил, что флешка только FAT32 разделы должна быть. Моя форматироваться в данное не пожелала (128Гб). побежал и за 200 руб купил маленького объема, форматнул, скинул документы, но тут выяснилось, что не все файлы еще поддерживаются, только старые форматы документов и PDF (это я по наитию, так как инструкцию я повторно не осилил). при подключении в сеть первые 3 минуты прогрев, но потом как пирожки копии вылетают. И еще про фотопечать. на специальной плотной бумаге (160гр/м) очень даже ничего, почти идеально. про это нигде не находил информацию при поиске принтера. даже в формате А4 практически не видно пикселей, а в рамке под стеклом вообще близко к искусству.

Покупку данной модели сделал отдел закупок на моей работе....Хотя, как они мне объяснили, так как мы бюджетная организация, другое купить ничего не разрешили......Никому не советую покупать данный аппарат.

I don't remember if it was 2000 or 2001 when I bought this printer but I originally paid about $80 and used it all through undergrad and grad school not to mention numerous job related tasks along the way (i.e. applying for jobs or just scanning important documents into my computer). It just died this week, it started randomly making skipping sounds where the moving part with the ink (obviously I'm trained in this tech lingo) was moving and resetting over and over and wouldn't turn off. When this happened I wasn't trying to print. Turned it off and disconnected hoping it would be alright the next day but alas, it would not turn on at all since that day. I tried all the usual troubleshooting tricks and no luck. I got a ton (probably literally in amount of paper printed) of use out of this printer. Low profile (although oddly shaped), easy to use, and really reliable until it died. In the last few years the ink replacement prices went up but not too crazy considering and I would have gladly continued to pay those ink prices and keep using this printer rather than try my luck on another one. I'm lost without this printer and now looking for a comparable and reasonably priced replacement..it's not going well. R.I.P printer.

I like my Lexmark X-75 printer.I have had it since March of 2003 and it is still working very well.I'm sure there are other printers that are faster and better, but I like the reliability of this printer and will continue to use it until it quits working.The remanufactured ink cartridges are relatively cheap on AMAZON.I would definitely recommend this printer.

Bought this machine for my office as a backup. Works great and will be buying anotehr one when my main machine comes off lease!

takes up a huge amount of desk space. top paper feed never worked correctly. ate more paper than it printed on. ink cartrges dried out after a week. had to replace glass after the lid shut to hard after i was replaced the ink. could go on but not worth my time, or yours.

I bought this printer about 2002. It is a good enough printer for me since I am not using it for business. i just learned today though that if you have not been using it for in excess of a month. you want to take a soft cloth and gently clean it inside and out. i could not get my scanner to work. it would give a garbled sound and the mechanism that scans would not move. the status light would not light up and the preview was a black picture with nothing on it. There was nothing about troubleshooting this type of scenario in the manual. The manual is very basic and easy to read, but not much there on fixing stuff that would happen. Like the scanner. On doing research online, one user suggested cleaning it monthly and keeping the ink catridges cleaned. she was right. i did this and today my lexmark is working great.Do the cleaning before you uninstall anything, cause reinstalling is a real patience tryer.. believe me it did it once when i had to fix my computer and with alot of prayer i managed to get it installed again (OS XP). lexmark doesn't offer any real support on their website. Links loop back and most of them are outdated. I guess that will get you to upgrade.more $$. Oh well, i hope this review helps someone. i was glad to see the review from that other lady who vows not to buy another anything lexmark!

I've tried to enjoy this printer, but I've come to realize that it is a real lemon. Don't lose the hardware driver because you'll have to reinstall it at least once every six weeks. The ink consumption is unreal....you may as well buy their stock if your going to by thier ink it may help you feel good about blowing your $$. The printer is louder than my garbage disposal and I have disturbed neighbors trying to use this printer at night. I have attempted to print large documents and left my office only to return to see my Lexmark having a seizure on my desk making sounds that would only be appropriate coming from my Jeep, forcing me to transfer print jobs to my other printers one too many times. I have owned HP's and Canon's and have gotten greater reliability and satisfaction out of their products. The Lexmark has performed miserably for the past 3 years while my older printers have continued to perform well. It's going out in Monday's trash. In fact I intend on giving it a proper sendoff........when the trash truck pulls in front of my house I want to run from my garage with Lexmark in hand go over to the back of the trash truck and slam it down with two hands like SHAQ!

I was given this printer - New In Box, etc. so I can't complain about buying it. But there is no way I'd buy one myself.1) The print quality - at any level - is noticably worse than other printers I have access to.2) The cost of cartridges is stupidly high3) The paper feed mechanism is hit-and-miss after only 1000 sheets4) Now, after 6 months, it won't print. Period. It advances the paper and moves the heads around, but nothing hits the page. And, yes, these are brand new Lexmark cartridges. A second set (I assumed the first set of new ones was bad - got a second set from a different source. Different lot numbers)5) The only thing that keeps this from being a single star review is the scanner. The scanner - while not up to snuff when compared to my dedicated HP scanner, is absolutely suitable for document scanning - either for digital records or scanning.

I was excited to buy this printer over a year ago, but now I just want to throw it out the window. First off, from the very beginning the software didn't always work right with my Windows XP. Anytime a document had to be cancelled, I had to reboot my computer in order to print anything else because the pending documents list would freeze up. Then there's the usual problem with not getting much usage out of an ink cartridge. But now, the paper feed doesn't work, requiring about ten attempts and usually a manual insertion of paper to get the paper to feed into the printer. The scanning feature works well, but copy quality isn't all that good, and scanning pictures also distorts the image quality quite a bit. All in all, I'm very disappointed in Lexmark and will never buy another.

I just put my fist through mine. Literally. I just wasted $62 on ink carts with the false hopes it would actually work after not even being used for over a year. Only to find it was tempermental and did'nt want to feed paper at ALL. Sending this to a smelting facility and burning it with the heat of 1000 suns is not enough of a sendoff for this peice of [...]. Die Lexmark, you second rate joke of a company. Next time, let monkeys engineer your next peice of hardware, I just MIGHT be inclined to buy it then.

I had to return the printer as it would not print correctly. The paper kept getting stuck because it wasn't going through the printer right.

Pros:Compact, elegant design; easy to setup and operate; sharp print quality.Cons:Frequent paper jam-ups or misalignments; can't print nonstandard (custom) sheet sizes; documents to be scanned must be superflat on its glass top, otherwise high resolution setting is required.The bottom line:Not for scanning pages of books nor for printing on custom sized sheets of paper, nor for printing on thinner than normal office paper. It's a neat machine for the occasional user with little space, and little money.Tested on a 1.3 GHz Athlon 4 with 256 MB and WinXPH.SCANNING--------Henceforth, wherever I refer to b/w or black-scan, I am not referring to the gray "magazine/newspaper" setting but the "black text" setting.Do not black-scan thick *bound* documents with the X75. But although you can get good quality 300 dpi black scanning of*individual* document sheets (because they can lay very flat on the glass), you will still end up with much larger file sizes than can be obtained via a gray-scan at 300 dpi!! This is not to say that the X75's gray-scanning is superb, but that its b/w scanning performance is poor.Unless a document is absolutely flat against the glass top of the X75, you will get illegible b/w scans unless you use a slow, high-resolution setting that creates a ponderous file size.Essentially, the X75's b/w scan setting functions so poorly with bound documents that it provides no advantages and should not be used for those jobs. Very disappointing that such a basic and otherwise frequently used low performance setting should be so unacceptable as to be avoided with the X75. With all the advancements in scanner technology over the past several years it's shocking to discover such retrograde b/w performance for a current model scanner. Somehow the Lexmark engineers forged ahead with resolution and color while ignoring the most important function of a cheap scanner: b/w text scanning. Keep in mind that this is a *cheap, flat bed* design machine; therefore chosen by consumers for the capability to copy the pages of bound documents such as books, magazines and product manuals (presumably text only). Inexplicable.SCANNING SOFTWARE-----------------An annoying thing about the Lexmark X75 scanning/copying software is that its window cannot be maximized to the fullsize of the monitor. The window remains stuck at an intermediate size because the icon in the upper RH corner of the window (for maximize) stays grayed out and unavailable to click. This makes it slower and less accurate to manually crop the previewed image, because you must work with a small image size. The Lexmark Photo Viewer software does not have this window maximization problem.SCANNING SPEED--------------Slo-o-o-ow. A 7 1/2" x 9 3/4" 300 bpi gray-scale image took 14 seconds to preview and then after I manually cropped the previewed image it took an aditional 16 seconds for scanning. Then, comes another delay after scanning is complete: for the automatic opening of the Lexmark Photo Viewer software that displays the image. On my new computer a 300 bpi gray-scanned image took about 17 seconds to appear *after* scanning was complete. Total time: 47 seconds. This file was saved as "low quality", resulting in size 249 KB.A 300 bpi color image of the same subject as the aforementioned gray-scanned one took a total of 90 seconds. This file was also saved as low quality, and was of size 373 KB.PRINTING--------Sharp print quality, but not very fast.Standard size paper sheets print fair, but...There must be a problem with Lexmark's driver version 4.0.950 (Nov. 2002) because when I attempted to print 2 custom size documents via Microsoft Word '97 (3 3/4" x 6 3/4" and 6" x 9"), the printing was offset 1 1/4" to the right of either of the custom paper sheet sizes. I tried repeatedly to get them printed correctly, but to no avail.The X75's adjustable paper width guide is *terrible*. Not only is it sticky, but its positioning is not very accurate; hard to locate it where you want it to be. Also, this adjustable guide, which is on the left side of the printer, is vertically misaligned with the fixed right-side guide, which is molded into the upright paper backrest. The result of this poor design is that a sheet can become rotated slightly if the adjustable guide is moved up against the sheet edge. This means skewed prints or jam-ups.Moreover, the machine's built-in paper alignment capability is practically nonexistant. It seems like the paper usually feeds crooked no matter how carefully the movable guide is adjusted.Furthermore, it cannot feed delicate sheets of paper such as those of note pads. I tried and failed a dozen times to print onto a delicate sheet of paper from an Office Select® Writing Tablet pad (available at K-Mart). Conversely, I have no such problem with my Epson Stylus Color 850 printer, which is a 4-year-old model. Thus, you will not be able to print nice neat little invoices unless you can find relatively expensive small-sheet paper that is as h

The only reason I gave this 4 stars is because I agree with many other people that this printer is a money trap as far as ink goes. I just replaced my ink 2 months ago and already have to replace it again. I cannot say anything else that is negative against this printer. I'm a college student... so, I print a lot! I've had this printer for a year and a half now and it has been wonderful! I have't had any of the paper jamming problems or anything go wrong with the printer. I called customer service once about ink level problems and they were excellent in helping me resolve my problem! I was told that if your cartridges ever start to streak or print light then before you replace them you should clean them by soaking a cloth in hot water and wiping the bottom. Apparently they can get clogged. (I'm not a computer wiz... so, that was a new one on me) So, for all you skeptics out there trying to decide what printer to buy... I love my Lexmark... and, I would highly recommend it to anyone! However, if you're looking for a high quality photo printer... the X 75 is not going to satisfy you.(I'm not sure that any combo printers will) The 60.00 that I paid for my X75 was well worth it! I love it!

I previously owned an Epson Stylus C60 Personal Printer that I tossed out and have owned this Lexmark for over a year now.The twelve-step page guided me through the set up process. At first the Lexmark X75 Multifunction Printer looked like a copy machine until I opened up the paper support and exit tray, added some plain ink jet paper and adjusted the guide accordingly. I have absolutely no experience with a scanner and was not sure what that entailed. One of the steps illustrates how to lift up the scanner to view the printer cartridge area, and once they were installed this lever gets released gently. The cable was installed without having to turn anything off and then I clicked cancel as instructed on the screen for adding new hardware and installed the CD.The lid is easy to open and find the arrow at the bottom right corner for placing photos for scanning, papers for copying or faxing. The difficult aspect of this was trying to get a photo to come up the right way. The instructions noted that the left top corner of the photo goes to the arrow on the glass. There is no squeaking when lifting up the cover and it does not slam back down when released. I did find that scanning was faster than copying with printing being the fastest. I timed a single paper to be copied several times at about two to three minutes and these were black copies.Considering the capability of this Lexmark X75 Multifunction Printer, the User Guide seems compact, but the All-In-One Center prompts the user through how to scan, copy, print and fax. There are options to reduce or enlarge copies, change scan settings, program a fax to be sent at a later time and much more that I have yet to comprehend. There are creative tasks for projects to choose from.I am very pleased that I made this purchase considering I had no previous knowledge of this brand, and feel it is attractive looking for my home office, plus no background noise. I was able to make copies finally and attempt sending a fax while learning how to scan and post photos, all for under one hundred dollars with one machine that is portable. I liked that I could also do other things while the scanning or printing was taking place.This is a worthwhile investment for the home environment and those that are just starting out.

I liked my X75 at first - I love being able to scan and copy at home. BUT - I can no longer use it for any kind of printing. The paper jams have gotten totally out of control. You have to be extremely quick and straighten out each page at exactly the perfect split second to get an ALMOST straight printing job done. That's for ONE page. I have tried all weights of papers. I have reloaded the driver 4 times as requested. I was totally disgusted to look on the Lexmark FAQs for this thing - one FREQUENTLY asked question was about the paper jams. After following a few links, the suggestion was to check whether I had clicked on portrait or landscape positioning! My mother has a different model Lexmark all-in-one that includes fax. Hers has begun jamming too but seems to be working okay for a while. That's how mine began - ultimately it became an unconquerable problem. The right side of the page pulls down but not the left, the page goes in very crooked and starts to crinkle and jam. For a while I tolerated the fact that I destroyed up to 20 pieces of paper to get one slightly crooked print-out, but no more! I can't wait to find something else. I can't print until I do!

I should have read the reviews before I purchased this printer. It had such a good price. Everything was working well, the color prints were very amazing. But then It started to get these "whitish/grey lines" in pictures and texts. The tried cleaning the nozzels as told and it didn't work. Finally I read online that you should put the nozzel holes in warm water. I did this for a few minutes, but then, What works best is to get a teapot. Once water boils and steam comes out, put the bottom part of the ink cartidge there until and steam it you see little "ink beads drip". I did this and Now it prints good.Text is printed good, but I still get these "light streaks" in my pictures. It seems to be a common problem from what I read. Also, the yellow ink has run out quickly.Good printer, but has problems. I haven't had paper jams and I hope I don't.

I am a diehard lexmark fan. I will not buy anything else. This is the worst lexmark I have owned. The software will not install on my Windows XP laptop. I finally got it working on my Macs. It scans great! It prints only "ok". The "photo quality" prints are downright horrible. I have 4 Lexmark printers and this is the ONLY negative experience I have had with any of them.

I bought this printer 2.5 years ago b/c at the time it was way cheaper than all the combination printers. The quality when new was pretty good. The color prints are pretty good. However, the black ink goes very quickly and it can cut off a little bit of your document at the bottom. It has just now broken after 2.5 years. I tried to get tech support or servicing and I was appalled how poor Lexmark's service was. They just told me the obvious and pushed me to buy a new printer. The closest service place was 25 miles away and I live in L.A!! I don't think I will buy Lexmark again, or buy a printer just because it is cheaper.

I picked up this bad boy for a whoppin' $35. here's why I rate this 2 stars... Start with 5 stars 1. Like everyone else, this thing sucks in the paper like a turbo Hoover deluxe. The pickup roller assembly seems to be take paper from the right side before the left, therefore causing paper folds on virtualy every type of paper, from plain copy paper all the way to phpto quality glossy and even thicker paper as well. (4 stars left.) 2. The software installation was okay, but there isn't a lot fo flexibility in what you can and can't enable. I like the tools for scaning and faxing, but the unnecessary pop-ups for printing and the voice sounds are really unnecessary. Okay, it's possible to stop these in the configuration. But why bother putting them in if I don't want them. Hard drive space is precious, don't waste it. (3 stars left) The Ink cartridge holder is difficult to snap down into place, not impossible, but not a smooth clicking process, it maybe tough on people with bad hands. With the location of the cartridges, you're limitd on where you can store this device because of the hood opening type of design. (2 stars left) Button functionality is great. Nice to have a status light clearly marked, though the troubleshooting guide doesn't give specifics for different status errors. It's more like a, "Try everything and see if that fixes the problem." (+1 star we're back at 3) Two cartridges, 1 black, 1 all-in-one color. This is horrible because I can print 200 pages in blue ink and never touch the magenta or cyan, they could be full, but if te blue is gone, the whole cartridge is useless. Always look for a printer with 4 cartridge slots. (2 stars total) That's about it. Just remember, if you purchase an ink jet printer, consider it a disposable unit. once it starts to go, it's gone for good. it's cheaper to buy another than to replace it, if insurance is ever less than $10 at a retail store, make sure to take advantage of the product replacement policy that they may have.

If I could have rated this a negative 100--I would have! Stay away from this companies products! They SUCK!!!!As another poster stated, I also had an HP printer that lasted a very long time--no problems whatsoever! If Lexmark were giving their printers away--I wouldn't take one. It has not been worth the headache and on top of it, the cartridges are among the highest on the market! I've only had this piece of crap since JUNE!!! I'll be going to purchase a new HP tomorrow. THe lesson I learned from is to stick with the tried and true. I went with the LExmark because of the price--well, I got what a paid for--actually not because as far as I'm concerned it's not worth a plug nickel!

This is My second lexmark product.As usual this thing prints NOWHERE near the speeds it says it can.The scaning feature is also Slow not just to slow for the Office, Its just Plain SLOW.Of course you gotta love the Lexmark ink cartridges, if you dont print anything for say a Month, then one day decide to print something you must go down to your local Walmart (or wherever) and buy a new Ink Cartridge. Why you ask? because the ink drys up ALL the TIME. this is my second lexmark and my first one had the same Ink problem..where as my Hp has never had that problem. Save yourself a Headache pay a little more and buy a Hp,cannon or epson.Lexmarks are JUNK.

it's good for the small size, quiet machinery and 3 in 1 function. That's ALL. I've had it for six months, and like the person from San Francisco, CA, i've tried everything to clean the print cartridges and it still won't print correctly. It was the first scanner/fax machine I had, so I thought those two functions were okay. But the printer is NOT worth the money. I had my HP Deskjet for years, while this one only works for... 6 months only. And what people are saying about the ink price is true: you can buy a whole other printer by buying 2 ink cartridges. Also, their technical support seems to be a little iffy to me. The manual doesn't help you beyond the simple problems, and if you still need help... you're basically on your own. I won't try Lexmark again.
