I purchased the HP 2000-2b24NR 15.6" Notebook PC which came with 4GB of this same memory installed. (I checked the part number prior to purchasing more memory to make sure it was compatible.) To max out the memory on the laptop I ordered this memory for the second DIMM.Easily installed, the laptop recognized the Kingston Value RAM 4GB immediately. As it's identical to the factory installed part which leads me to belive the two will exist harmoniously in this laptop for years to come.I have used other Kingston Value memory in the past, and will continue to do so as (knock on wood) I've never had a dud and they're always priced right.

If you bought a laptop or notebook that came with 4Gb in one slot, instead of the 4GB ones that use 2- 2GBs to make 4GBs, this is great ez upgrade to end up with 8gb total. many pcs end up making you replace both sticks to get up to 8gbs. Always look inside or check the specs online, so many types of memory right now, 8500, 1066, 1333 and PC1600. Anyway bought a new hp laptop for wife for xmas and it had 1 stick, 4gb pc1600, so now she has 8gbs(2 sticks), or the max her system can handle. another thing to look for when getting a new pc is that you want 10/100/1000 internet adapter, still there is many 10/100/mpbs, or what i call the old standdard. many new good pcs have the 10/100/1000mpbs and will take 16 to 32 gigs of memory. enjoy your performance upgrade. upgrading memory is ez.

This item arrived FASTER than its projected delivery time. I have never installed RAM in a laptop before. The instructions were a bit lacking but I was able to find a youtube video to see what I was doing wrong. Once installed it works great. I effectively doubled my RAM for less than $30. Installed in 20 mins (could have been 5 if I had done it before)Worth the purchase!!

I can tell you that I have been building desktop PCs and servicing laptops for over 15 years and I've never once had an issue that i can remember with a Kingston memory module. Always reasonably priced and always reliable.

I ordered my 4gb and actually got it earlier than I was expecting. I'm happy to report that it does indeed work with my Asus K55A-BBL4 laptop, which contradicts another customers post on here. My guess it's due to the fact that I updated my BIOS a few days ago to the newest version, which fixes some bugs and allows users to set your VRAM allocation for the IGPU.Overall very happy with the price, and the stick working currently.

Not much to say but so far, so good! I placed it in my brand new HP Pavilion g6-2260us laptop and I haven't detected any problems at all. All of the apps and programs on the laptop are working perfectly and fast...I think in part thanks to this product.

I dont jnow too much about computers but i bought this memory for expand my 4GB laptop, i was scared because i installed this upgrade memory, but after like ten minutes trying to succeed i put it on the memory slot, its nice and cheap, and the most important thing is kingston

I ordered a computer on line and when I was ordering it, this memory was the first that popped up when I tyted inthe memory type. I really should have known better and checked, but... I didn't.This was the wrong one for the computer I just bought!SO... make sure you check. LOLAmazon deducted the return shipping from the refund but they were prompt at it.The right one works well.

Put in my Acer netbook. Wow what a difference! I now have 6 gigs of ram and I can run windows 7 and windows 8 (using VMware) and it runs great.

What is there to say. Its ram. The best and only real difrrence is its super cheap and reliable. Added to a lenovo t530 and it did the trick.

My laptop came with 6 GB of RAM in 2 slots: 4 GB in one slot and 2 GB in the other. I smply replaced the original 2 GB unit with this item to bring my computer up to 8 GB total - has worked flawlessly for almost 2 months now. Perfect!

It probably is excellent memory -- Kingston usually is -- but be careful to confirm compatibility. It did not work with my Asus K55. Kingston has a site you can go to be sure you have it right.

I recently purchased a new laptop and was surprised when the store offered to install a 4GB upgrade for $60. I've done my homework and Kingston RAM is a reputable brand, and the installation was a snap. Thanks to Prime Shipping I now have a faster laptop for only a $25 investment. Great product!
