I liked this since it was very portable and I could put it on my key ring. I didn't care much that it was a micro sdhc, I just wanted a super small 8 gb usb drive. Works great for me!

This kit is cheap and versatile. I bought two of these for my cellphone and laptop (ReadyBoost). It works like any other microSD card. No bells and whistles. It's too bad I lost both; microSD cards are easy to lose.

I have two of these little sticks and several Micro SD cards that I swap among them and they are great. So far they've been reliable and have functioned just fine. Being able to easily swap out the memory cards is part of what initially drew me to them.Couple minor issues:- While its tiny little size is cool and convenient, it can also be a pain; these things are easy to lose, easy to leave inserted in a computer and forgotten (which I have done), and they can occasionally be slightly difficult to insert into a USB port, as you have to be rather careful how you do it.- Again, because they are so tiny, you have to have some sort of case to hold the stick and any extra memory cards you have for it. The Micro SD cards are about the size of an average fingernail, and this card reader device isn't a whole lot bigger.Those issues are simply inherent in having such small devices and certainly don't detract from its functionality and usefulness, just stuff to be aware of.

Just what I was looking for, needed a miniSD card for my phone, but also wanted the flexibility for the card to be used for something else. The set is great, cheap, and from a good manufacturer.

I bought this in order to use the miniSD size in a Canon camera. The camera does not recognize the card when it is in the camera's memory slot - not even to initialize the memory card. I do not know if the camera is faulty or the card ... the jury is still out.

It's great for its micro form factor. Just one thing that gets confusing if you're not used to it yet is the missing upper metal shield that usually comes with USB connections isn't there so you must make sure that you are inserting the contacts correctly. Before I got used to using it I inserted it wrong the first time thinking I got a DOA product. Just make sure to usually insert with the logos facing you as per the USB specification. A little bit odd when you're not used to it, but it's worth it for the small form factor.

It's small enough so I'm not worried about it getting broke when plugged in. My husband carries it everywhere with him. He likes that the card is completely inside and not sticking out like our last reader. He has every song we own on it and still has room, which seems to amaze him :)

It does what I needed it to do, and does it without any muss or fuss. I mean, it's hardly a super-advanced piece of equipment, and it's small enough that I worry about breaking it if I were to actually carry it around on my keys, but...you can't argue with something simple and solid that does its job. Good price, quick shipping, and I haven't lost it so far.I didn't actually need the memory card that came with it, but hey...it was actually cheaper than the reader by itself, so yeah.

This flash memory card is not compatible with the NOOK Color. Barnes & Noble tech dept confirmed it. The seller must do a better job in informing their customers, particularly with such expensive products.

Have had it in my LG Rumor Touch for almost a week now. It is fast and appears flawless so far. I have used Kingston ram in many things over the years and this micro SD has been no exception. Good product at a good price.Update: 12-28-12: Micro SD card still working flawlessly 2 phones later! Good product.

I love these Kingston 8GB microSDHC cards because they are extremely reliable and portable. With a memory card reader (such as this Kingston microSD Card Reader), I am able to use these in lieu of flash drives for storage and backups.Contents--------The package comes with a SD Card Adapter, a miniSD Card Adapter, and of course, the 8GB microSDHC card.- SD Card AdapterSince SD cards are here to stay, the SD card adapter is a nice inclusion into the package. I use the SD card adapter for my HP IPAQ 111 and my Garmin n?vi 360.- miniSD Card AdapterminiSD cards have been phased out, so unless you still possess a device that takes miniSD cards, you most likely won't have any use for it. I personally don't have a device that takes miniSD cards. However, I did find a use for it in my Kingston Mobilelite Memory Card Reader, which has 3 slots - one for a microSD card, one for a miniSD card, and one for a regular SD card. I simply keep my miniSD Card Adapter in my Mobilelite to turn the miniSD slot into an extra microSD slot!Pros----- Fast (Class 4)The speed of an SD card is rated using three speed classes, namely, class 2, class 4, and class 6 (in order of speed from slowest to fastest).This SD card is rated class 4 (data transfer rate: 4 MByte/sec, or 32 mbps). Transcend makes one that's rated class 6 (6 MByte/sec, or 48 mpbs). A class 4 SD card is sufficiently fast for the majority of electronics. A decidedly small number of consumer electronics, most notably some high-resolution camcorders and high-end cameras, require a class 6 SD card.- ReliableI have used Kingston SD cards for the last couple of years and have found them to be extremely reliable - no faulty cards, or devices failing to recognize the cards. I would caution, however, that these cards are in the microSDHC format (4GB - 32GB), which may not be compatible with older devices that take only microSD cards (2GB and under).---These high capacity Kingston Technology microSDHC cards are fast, reliable, and provide plenty of storage and the included adapters come in really handy. You really can't go wrong with them!

I got this to use with our Nintendo DS's with an R4 card that needs a micro SD. The larger capacity of this micro SD card at a great price allows us to hold more movies, music and games on thwe R4 card and get even more fun and value out of our DS's. The multiple card converters allow me to use it in my laptop or desktop to update the micro. Easy to use. working like a charm.

I previously purchased a Scandisk 4GB microSD and ended up using it in my cell phone to store music on to listen to while away from the house. Why carry an mp3 player when you have a cell with stereo headphones? Anyway, my son lost his mp3 (great, huh) so I suggested we purchase a card for his phone so he could use his cell too.I was originally concerned that a "flash memory class 4 card" wouldn't work in his cell phone. I really don't know much about the differences in these cards, but the price was good so we ordered it anyway. It works fine in his phone, just like the "regular" Scandisk card that I purchased previously. I would assume that this card would work in any recently made cell phone or electronic device, but don't quote me on that and do your research.I'd definitely purchase this item again.

I bought this item because I thought I needed a mini SD adaptor for my MP3 player. The directions said "Mini" not "micro." So I searched all over and Amazon was the only place I could find a "Mini." I was really mad when I got the package and the "mini" was not in there. However, I decided to open it and try it anyway, and lo and behold the directions were wrong! It really was a micro I needed. Thank God!It works well to add music on my laptop with the regular SD size then take out the micro for the MP3 player.But it looks like I'm not the only one with this issue. I'm a little disappointed, get it right, Amazon!

Bought this SD card to use in MP3 player. Like all Kingston products I have purchased in the past, this one worked perfectly. Plus the extra adapters make it easy to use my computer to load my card, or to play the card in my laptop. A really good product, from a solid company ( I love their Thumb Drives!) Kingston DataTraveler I - 4 GB USB 2.0 Flash Drive DTI/4GB .But here's a word of caution: Make sure to check the size and type of card your device needs. Not all products accept the HC (high capacity) version of an microSD card - so be sure to check with the product manufacturer to make sure your phone, MP3 player or camera will accept this version. If not, I think they also make the microSD Flash cards with a lower capacity as well.
