I bought 4 2gb sticks of this memory for an older Dell PowerEdge Server and they worked great. No blue screens and faster performance, what more can you ask!

Be aware this is registered ECC RAM, typically used in servers. Make sure it will work in your system before buying.

Kingston 2 GB DDR2 SDRAM Memory Module 2 GB (1 x 2 GB) 667MHz ECC DDR2 SDRAM 240pin great memory it fit in my Dell server and it work great.

I went to the Kingston website, looked up the compatible memory for a Dell computer. Then I went to Google, did a search for lowest price on that part number. Trusted Amazon, so paid a few dollars more and bought from Amazon. When I went to install the 6 identical memory modules I had ordered, I found I had 5 memory modules with the correct part number and a 6th which was physically very different and a very different part number. This is very sad and disappointing that this type of an error could occur. The 5 modules worked flawlessly which is typical for Kingston, though I am still disappointed that the memory does have the low rent Made in China label on it.

This product worked perfectly! Before you purchase one I would recomend looking at kingston's web site to determine which module works best with your system. Purchasing it from Amazon really saved me some money! I would recomend this product to anyone!

This product seems to be Kingston KTD-DM8400BE/2G. I installed this yesterday on my Dell Precision 390 and it found the memory and is now running at 8GB RAM. I'm using Red Hat Enterprise WS 4 (x64_86). This results in 7.5 GB free memory and .5 GB for the operating system, of course, overtime this will change but that is the startup memory usage.The installation was simple and like other DIMM memory. The fit was tight and somewhat difficult to push in, but that is a good thing considering you don't want the memory to have any chance of moving around.I don't have any cons at this point.Please remember you must be running a x64 version of whatever operating you are using to go over 4GB RAM (and make use of it).

I don't know how you would go about reviewing RAM but I guess I bought it for a good price, I received it fast and it seems to be working. :)
