Must have bought well over a dozen of these over the last ten years, the product construction hasn't changed. Obviously I keep buying them, and that's because they are cheap and handy. I have a collection on a shoestring of about eight at the moment for various tech tasks. But the plastic frame behind the pin connections is hollow and flimsy. There's no reason this couldn't have been improved over the years, or maybe its planned obsolesence to keep us buying... Almost all mine have collapsed and had to be replaced after a while. This happens especially if you have a tight new USB socket the adapter is inserted into. I still use them but for my main adapter I now use a steel framed "Integral" make adapter that costs a pound or so more and is just a little bit bigger.

что происходит, так это то, что пластиковый корпус спереди трескается и отрывается от Блока. Машина все еще работает, но кусочки могут застрять в вашем USB-порту. Оба подразделения имели точно такой же недостаток.
я советую не приобретать эти. Если я найду номера лотов, я их опубликую.

Одна из проблем, с которой я сталкивался в прошлом с другими "конвертерами", - это спазматическая связь (иногда это происходит, а иногда нет). Никаких проблем с этой мелочью. Сказав это, вытащить маленькую микро-SD-карту снова - это "жукер". На самом деле это не вина этой маленькой "штуковины", это мои ногти, которые на самом деле недостаточно длинные, и у карты нет никакого гребня, чтобы держаться. Но он делает то, что я хочу, чтобы он делал 100%

Моя 128-гигабайтная карта micro sd прибыла на почту сегодня днем, и я очень сомневался, что это устройство не поддерживает такую большую емкость карты. Большинство адаптеров поддерживают только до 64 ГБ, так как это был самый высокий доступный объем. Но я рад сообщить, что это устройство также поддерживает 128-гигабайтные карты micro sd.

Bought it in Nov 2016, became useless in May 2017.
The supporting plastic base under the 4 pins broke off made the thing useless. Nice form factor but not going to last long.

вы видите только скоростью самого медленного звена в цепочке (SD или читателя).<БР />
этот читатель имеет приличный максимальная скорость чтения/записи на 20meg/сек если ваша SD-карта может с этим справиться.

This is a review couple of years after the purchase. It was good till it lasted. I was only using it at home so it didn't have a lot of abuse. One day it decided to get stuck in the USB dongle I was using it with for my MAC. I feel like both of them were at fault here, not just this car reader. When I tried to remove it, it didn't want to come out with it eventually breaking in half.

Tiny, tiny, tiny, I dropped it and took several minutes to locate it; perhaps they should make them in fluorescent colours.
Only time will tell if it lasts; most of the cheap adapters I have had only last a year or two before the internal contacts get too worn/dirty and stop working reliably.
UPDATE
It wasnt the contacts that failed, the whole thing fell apart, the section with the reader part came away from the rest of the device while removing it from the car radio - no force needed to remove it, so what went wrong??
Only time will tell if it lasts; most of the cheap adapters I have had only last a year or two before the internal contacts get too worn/dirty and stop working reliably.

Great wee item, arrived well packaged and on time etc. I've bought a few of these for family and friends, and folks in general seem to be quite chuffed at how compact they are and how well they work. I have used one for a few months now with a 32GB card (stuffed at bottom of pocket with other edc stuff, keys and change etc), no sign of problems with connectors etc as yet, the worst thing is that given the harsh treatment I give it, the paint and print on it has worn a wee bit. Another good aspect of it is that it's cheap enough not to worry about damaging, but the card you keep in it may not be - but this is okay, as the card is almost completely protected by the reader, with only a tiny section peeking out at the top. Makes my phone much more usable with PCs etc. I'd buy a few more, but unfortunately as I gather it's still only available as an add-on item for amazon orders over 20 quid, and I don't need a dozen... Oh well, I'll just wait until I've got a bigger amazon order ready :-)

Incredibly small, combined with a DiMeCard Micro8 means you can carry a stack load of data around in your wallet. Far better than clunky USB pen drives and because it takes MicroSD cards I can use these on my Samsung tablet as well PC.
Would have given it 5 stars but for 3 minor problems:
Had to swap micro lanyard with one that has clip so can hook it safely to loop in wallet.
You need to keep a MicroSD card in when not in use or the tiny slot starts to collect dust and grit when in a pocket, devil to clean out.
Had to make a protective cover for contacts as these started to show signs of abrasion.

This reader is so cheap and reliable that I would recommend anyone with a micro SD card to buy one. I have my 8GB Micro SD in it and I keep it in my wallet as a memory stick for whenever I need to use one. The read/write speeds for me are 15/5 mb/s, but that depends on the speed of your Micro SD card, so mileage may vary. One can only say it could be too small that you'd lose it! But I would consider that as a pro, I couldn't go back to using a bulky memory stick. You could put a 64GB card into this and have all that memory in a reader smaller than a 2p coin. 5/5 no doubts.

This thing is really tiny. It works well and is very inobtrusive. However, I feel that maybe it is too small and may get lost quite easily. Do we really need such a small memory stick to plug into a relatively large computer? If you really want to put it on your keyring then this would be a great choice.

Менее чем за 3 фунта я не ожидал многого, но работает хорошо. Гораздо быстрее и изучающий, чем мой предыдущий стиль SD кард-ридер, который пришел с моего SanDisk микро SD карты. Делает то, что от него требуется, и делает это хорошо. Чего еще мы можем желать!

Он крошечный, очень крошечный, но он отлично справляется. Он почти невидим, когда я использую его в USB-порту своего ноутбука. У меня не было никаких проблем с копированием и чтением данных с моей карты microSD с помощью этого считывателя. Я не могу комментировать точные уровни скорости, но он копирует чуть медленнее, чем копирование файлов на моем компьютере. Очень доволен этой покупкой.

As others said so small you could lose it, but aside from that a wonderful little card reader for all those micro SD cards I have laying aorund. Read all my cards perfectly and at such a cheap price.

Does what it's supposed to. Just hope it lasts as previous models and makes come up with messages, such as 'this usb device can perform faster' or 'this devise is not formatted' after being used for a while.

This one however definitely scores highly on the KISS scale (Keep It Simple Stupid). The micro SD card is a tight fit just as it needs to be. With the card in place the result is a small, solid and sturdy USB stick.
I'm about to buy a second.

Great little things to carry around with me, never know when one is needed, they are very light and tough. As you can see in the pictures they are not like a normal USB connector, but don't be put off buying because of this. The connect is the same as normal USB, just without the metal, but this doesn't impede the product what so ever! And you might even come to prefer that connector.

Great little sd card reader. Asked you to use any size of sd card. Has a chord so you can put it on your keyring, though it will probably get damaged that way. Can be fiddly getting the sd card In flush.

Works very well indeed - much smaller than http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B001JPPQS6/ and fits into a standard SD+µSD case for easy carry (need to remove string first though)
Didn't give 5 stars due to limitations of the form factor - it leaves the socket exposed to dust, has no dust cover when not in use, and feels very flimsy/fragile. While I have 3 of these, I in fact in practice use the slightly larger (but equally priced) product linked above.

I really like the form factor and the tinyness but the write speed is awful. I am using a class 10 card which means it has a minimum write speed of 10MB/s. When using my other reader I get >17MB/s and when using this product the max I've seen is 1.4MB/s :(
I don't have all day to sit about waiting for memory cards to have the stuff I want on them. The instant-er the better. I will be getting a refund or a replacement for this as it must be broken. Unless nobody else has noticed the bad write speed and thats just what this product is expected to do. :-S

This has been on my keychain for the last three months and so has had some rough traffic. I do not keep the card in it when not in use, but it has never given me any problems. There is hardly any scuffing on it and it still works beautifully. It does generate comments when I take it out to use it and someone notices.
