There are two issues with this memory that need resolved. First, I ordered Kingston part # KVR400X64V3A/1G. When I opened the package, I found that you had covered the Kingston part number with one of your own barcode labels showing the part number I ordered. What your sticker was covering up was a completely different part number of KTH-D530/1G which is DDR 400 but it is system specific for HP products and is not approved for the MSI motherboard this was ordered for. I installed 1 of the sticks I ordered and booted up the PC. It would no longer load to the Windows desktop screen and would reboot. It does this with only your stick of memory installed in either socket. It also does it with and without the Kingston KVR400X64V3A/512 that was originally installed in this PC. If I remove your memory, it boots back up normally without any errors.Below is a list of approved memory for the MSI motherboard that this memory was ordered for.[...]Kingston KVR400X64C3A/256 256MB(Hynix HY5DU56822DT-D43)Kingston KVR400X64C3A/256 256MB(Kingston D3208DH1T-5)Kingston KVR400X64C3A/1G 1GB(SEC K4H510838B-TCCC)Below is a list from Kingston of the compatible computers the memory you actually shipped me. All are system specific for HP computers.[...]The second issue with this memory is that I looked closely at the gold contacts of the unopened package I received and can see that this memory was not new as you claimed on your website. You can clearly see that this memory has previously been installed in another machine because of the markings left on the gold contacts that are made after insertion.I made the service call to my customer this memory was ordered for which takes about an hour round trip and spent another hour researching the two different part numbers specifications and compliance with the properly ordered part number for the customers motherboard. What kind of sleazy business are you running where you claim the memory was new and it clearly isn't, and you cover up the part numbers of the wrong memory with the one that was ordered? I demand an immediate refund of $40.90 for the parts and shipping and if you want this used/wrong part number memory returned, you need to supply a prepaid shipping label at your expense. This RAM is a must for someone who is upgrading or repairing an older desktop computer. I have an old PC that had 512MB of RAM before, I got this for an upgrade so It would run faster. It's all recognized in by the CPU as it reports that it's there in the BIOS.Another thing is the seller is quick to respond to customer service; I had checked the tracking info and it was stated as delivered. Since I had not noticed the delivery of this package and when I called the post office they did not have it, I quickly contacted the company asking what they could do if the package was taken from my porch. They responded fast (less than 12 hours) and stated their replacement options. Luckily I found the RAM in my mailbox so I didn't have to go any further than the email.

Put it on my mother-in-laws older Dell. It has made a noticible difference in her processing speed. Only downside is that when installing pairs (2 DIMMS - 2GB total), you have to install one in the primary slot, fire up the PC and let it discover the new RAM, then shut down and install the second DIMM. When installed at the same time, the system didn't recognize both DIMMs. System was MS XP with current updates.
