Best Solution for Simple, Quick and Healthy food
I would definitely recommend this soup maker to those who are looking for healthy, low cal/fat meals without putting much time and effort in cooking.
Reasons to buy:-
1.Tefal is a very reputed international brand. You can find lots of product reviews and videos on their products over the internet.
2.The build quality is fantastic. Very sturdy ,neat and elegant looking. It's built like a tank and I'm sure it's gonna last for quite some time.
3.While other brands have plastic covering around the blender on the inside, Tefal is all stainless steel.
4.Its very easy to operate with the preset functions. No manual intervention required.
5.It prepares the soup in exactly 23-25mins depending on the mode selected.
6.Its doesn't make much noise unlike other mixers and blenders.
7.The motor is quite a powerful one and the soup maker bends all the veggies in a smooth paste(on creamy soup mode).Doesn't leave any vegetable chunks or peels.
8.Its got a detachable cord that makes it easy to pack and store the soup maker.
9.The Easy Clean mode cleans the soup maker in a jiffy. So no need to wash it with soup every time.
10. Definitely saves time.Only efforts required are to chop the veggies.Rest it will manage.You can do other tasks in the meanwhile without worrying on checking the soup maker.It automatically stops once the soup is ready and moreover keeps it warm for 40 minutes in case you intend to have it later.
11. Apart from soup it makes lovely shakes and smoothies.Perfectly blended.
A few aspects to be looked upon:-
1.The warranty should be for more than just 1 year or an option for extended warranty.Its an international brand with expensive out of warranty repairs.
2.The most important thing to be noted is that it prepares a minimum of 1 litre of soup ie.4 soup bowls and not anything less.So those of you looking for preparing just 1 bowl,it won't. Infact no other brand offers less than 1 litre, even Philips.
A few tips:-
1.Do not add salt, pepper or any masala in the soup maker.Sprinkle it after you serve.Salt might stain the inner walls.
2.Never pull out or hold or try to carry the soup make with its top handle as it is not lockable and is intended only for removing the blender before serving. Always use the side handle to serve, hold or move the soup maker.
3.Keep the soup maker on a stable surface as while blending it causes vibrations and may topple on an uneven surface.
4.Be careful about the min.and max water level markings. Lesser may cause the motor to burn out and more may cause the soup to spill out.
5.Dont wash the soup maker under tap.Be it the jar or blade.Wipe is with a damp cloth.

Absolutely love it
I was a little apprehensive when I bot it but now I can’t do without it. I use it almost everyday to make a creamy soup. It’s extremely easy to use and clean. The best part is that it shuts off on its own so once you start it you don’t need to supervise it. The soup tast absolutely yummy and unlike earlier when I used to boil vegetables and then purée it, tefal soup maker makes everything so easy, would highly recommend it

Time saver!
I decided to buy this soup maker after a friend raved about hers. I love soup dinners but often no longer really have the energy to dedicate to the whole prepping, watching it cook and then blend it to a puree before serving.
This appliance does it all, all you have to do is peel and cut the veggies, toss everything in the jug with either water or broth and select the right mode, then it does everything on its own and will even keep your soup warm for 40 minutes. This means I can prep everything, toss it in the soup maker, and head out for an evening walk and everything will be ready for dinner by the time I come back home.
That or I can just toss everything in, and spend that valuable time with my daughter and family rather than being the one stuck on cooking duty.
The appliance comes with a recipe booklet to give you some ideas, but basically any soup recipe you have can be made in the soup maker. I haven't tried the compote mode just yet though. I love the fact that it also has a cold blender mode to make smoothies and milkshakes. Far less tedious than taking the mixie out of the cupboard to do the job.
It also cleans very easily compared to a mixie, and has an easy clean mode to help with the process. Don't expect the easy clean mode to do all the job, but once you have run it, only pour the dirty water, wipe the inside with a sponge and rinse and you are done with the cleaning. The easy clean function basically takes care of all the scrubbing you'd have to do otherwise.
If you are a soup lover, and enjoys smoothies, lassi and milkshakes, this is a must buy. It will make your life easier and cut the amount of time you spend in the kitchen.

Superb product - health, taste and convenience in one
I have been using this product for many months now and am very pleased with it so far. It is much better than other competing brands as it is completely steel on the cooking surfaces while others have plastic encased blender units. I have placed another order today for a second unit, as a gift for a senior citizen couple who need to consume soup everyday but are finding the normal soup-making process too cumbersome to do on a daily basis.
Even if the price appears to be high, the convenience factor and the healthy and tasty food options it makes possible easily, make it a compelling buy.

I was a bit vary before I bought this but after using it once I was very impressed..it is a tad pricey although I was lucky to get more of a discount in a lightening deal.
The most impressive bit..the soups need no thickening agent!!! Thick creamy soups..with just a few ingredients..no hassle no prep required. Super easy to use and the soup stays bubbling hot for 40 mins after it’s made..
It’s pretty worth it for someone who’d like to eat healthy
Though the minimum quantity is a bit much for just one person approx 800 ml.

I am really disappointed. I am an Amazon customer for more than ...
I bought this item in November 2017. Barely used it for 5 months as i was out of town. The product is not working all of a sudden. What is the warranty for this appliance? I am really disappointed. I am an Amazon customer for more than a decade now, first time a product has stopped functioning in such a short time. I would really request a replacement. It is an expensive item. Hope you will respond to my request. I think i have also purchased onsite warranty.

Be careful before you buy
Amazon's word mining software makes it difficult to post reviews about certain things. I'll be cryptic. The machine arrived with a big crack inside the box. I wonder why! It's amazing that I am not the only one to experience this!

Super frustrated
The moment i plug in the soup maker to a plug point it automatically starts blending without making any selection.. this was purchased through amazon in june 19.

Great Product
Used it for over a month . Now we have soup every second day because it is easy to make. Made Apple compote also - delicious. Follow the instructions given in the booklet and let the Easy Soup maker do the rest. Great Product

Only one issue. You cannot make smaller portions. Minimum 1 ltr. That is large cups.
