Its a good reliable processor. So far it doesn't mind hard work, being a server processor it had no problem with the 5hr shift I gave it, it stayed at roughly the same temerature (my last CPU would steadily get hotter). Where my last processor would go terribly wrong this one trundles through at 30% and still does it quicker, without errors. It was a bit freaky to see the pads on the bottom of the CPU and pins poking out of the motherboard. So you need to be extreemly careful.
I bet you guys want to know how fast it is, well, to render 10mins of blu ray video, my old processor (athlon 4400 x2 Brisbane) took 1hr 45min (and any longer than that I got errors)
The Xeon (drumb roll) 30 minutes!! And it looks like I can configure my system to get it done in realtime. Then I rendered the whole 2 hours without a problem. This chip is designed for work, so I was keen to get my hands on one as thats what I use my computer for. It can probably do games well too... but I wouldn't know, I don't play pc games! According to my research a decent i7 is only slightly faster, but you can put two of these together and there are STUPIDLY powerful xeons chips for the same socket, that I cant afford yet, but this does the job just fine on its own. I highly reccomend this CPU to get work done.

L'ho installato in accoppiata con un'altra CPU con le stesse caratteristiche e non ha dato alcun problema di surriscaldamento o glitch

The chip has smudge and compression marks, meaning it was used.
