Great Electric Push Mower for the Money!
The upgrade to this Hyaundai HYM3800E mower (38cm) was a noticeable improvement from the off, at 12.5 kg it's the best weight for it's class against other manufacturers of similar mowers, quickly got used to the weight having swapped from an 8kg mower, the 1600w motor makes a difference too as it makes light work of what you put it up against. Mower feels well constructed for the domestic user.
Single handle gear type shift height adjustment makes changing height setting very quick and easy.
Grass roller makes a neat finish, roller standing the test of time will be interesting, however the 3yr warranty should see fit to any issues.
Grass box outlet filler piece makes for a good item when you want to cut and not pick up the grass/mulching.
Cable guide on handles is a good feature to help you keep the cable where you want it whilst mowing.
Quick release handles on handles makes for easy packing.
Having gone from an 8kg mower 1200w (Qualcast easi-trak 320 (32cm)), I won't be going back, this new Hyaundai mower really is great to use doing what it says on the tin!

Non existent grass collection!!!!!!
The worst lawnmower I have ever used. It will not collect the grass. I defy anyone on earth to mow my normal lawn without raging. It just spits it out. Anything longer than a inch and it just jams within 2 lengths and starts to mulch it(with the mulch guard out) If i could be bothered returning i would, but can you imagine the nightmare. I'm going to keep it as a weekly reminder not to be fooled by a brand name. Even my old bosch is miles better thats been out in the garden for 2 years. Dont say i didnt warn you!

Good for the money
Reviewed after 2 weeks ownership. Appears to be well made and does the jobs well. Easy to change cut heights and so far it is coping with a slightly out of control but very dry lawn. 1600w motor makes a difference. Would recommend

Great mower. Used on long wet grass- no problem. Beasted through it. Light weight, easily adjustable, cuts effortlessly and collects grass properly- unlike my previous nightmare mower (RYOBI). 12 Meter cable, nice and long. Doesn't leave a mess behind. Compact for storage, foldable.
Grass compartment/box is small'sh, would be nice if it was a bit bigger. Assembly is simple, but not easy to understand booklet, just youtube the model and you'll find a video tutorial.

Mower Go Kart
Arrived in the product box. Looked brand new from the box. Mainly blue plastic but seems strong plastic. Cable is attached and quite long. Start and stop uses a push button with an on/off bar across the width of the handle - not seen that before. Assembly was quite easy with the quick release handles - just attach the main handle plus a few other bits.
In use, you'll need to attach the grass-cuttings box as the grass bits come through the back as you cut without it. There's a handle to attach to the cuttings box. You can't adjust the length of the main handle without drilling new holes but you can adjust the angle using the quick release handles.
It cuts very well. Cutting height can be adjusted using a gear-stick like handle on the side of the mower. It's not too nosiy in use and cuts efficiently.
Obviously how long the Hyundai lasts is down to time. It's got a three year warranty and there's a sticker on the side of the mower giving a phone number to get help. My last machine was a Qualcast which didn't last long before the motor burned out - I must have used it 10 times over two years....

Hubby’s MOST Impressed
This is the best lawnmower we have ever owned. Having gone through the advent of electric lawnmowers and destroying at least 7 hover mowers we decided to return to the good old rotary type. How glad are we? This mower is lighter, easier to adjust and produces a much better finish than our previous purchases.
The only drawback was the assembly instructions- they can be much improved- as patience and logical thought are definitely required. However, once this hurdle is overcome you’ll have a dream machine. Another niggle may be the length of the electric cable, I would advise checking how much you’ll need as you may require an extension cable.

Not worth it
After reading the reviewsi bought this lawnmower. Was not really impressed from the start. Its maintained and spent the winter in dry conditions but on taking it out today for the first mowing of the year, it won't start. As I said, it never lived up to the reviews and have completely wasted my money. Very unhappy.
