Just received my delivery and was disappointed. The helmet does not have a wheel ratchet and rear pad as stated in the text and shown in the photo. The one delivered is the less expense model.

The instructions really do not tell how hard you must wrench the pieces to fit, or how to tell when they are locked in place. Wish I could make a video but I am NOT taking this thing apart to go through all the ToRTURE again! The mask must be really really forced to get the tabs into their slots on the mask brace. But the visor is the worst... no instructions at all! The tab in the middle stays in front of the mask while two right and left tabs must snap into their respective slots on the mask brace. This is accomplished by sliding the visor ends into the grooves on the mask brace. Then while holding the visor FIRMLY against the mask brace, simultaneously press down HARD on the center of the visor bill, while simultaneously (yeah, really) snapping one of the right or left tabs in place. It will make a clean snapping sound. Repeat for other tab. Ver nice and tight when complete. (Took a long time to figure out how tough one needed to be with the pieces). BTW, from the condition of our original box, we received a returned item, and I can see why!

I love this hat, it's very comfortable and easy to use. The ear protection is great and i love the way the ear protection just flips out of your way and the mesh screen. I find it very comfortable and if your like me you get busy doing projects and you just forget ear plugs or sometimes even safetly glasses and I Can't count the times I got hit in the hit by cutting down brush, a limb might swipe your head. The safety helmet is a great safeguard especially if your a bald guy. OUCH! I bought the hat for it's looks, love the bright orange color, the easy use features. Like another man said he thought it would have the ratchet system for adjustment to size. it does not, however the easy use strap is very comfortable but you do have to remove it to make the adjustment. but once you set it for your preference your good.. the ratchet system is the only thing that would make this great safety hat Even better. IT'S worth the purchase just for the awesome ear protection and great looking shell. It is a busy man's best friend when your working hard. I really love this hat.

High quality comfortable hard hat. Face shield is not distracting and I tend to wipe the sweat of my face forgetting to lift it up first. Hard hat is light, hearing protection blocks chainsaw noise and is easy to lift away from ears as well as reposition on the hard hat. The fitment size adjuster is not nearly as nice as the dial adjusters but at this price range it's okay. Does the job well for the price point.

I just got my helmet and it does not have the adjustment wheel as described and pictured. The ratchet strap is easy enough to adjust, it is just the principle of the thing and accuracy of the description of what you are buying. One of the reasons I chose this model was because of the wheel adjust! Also the directions are terrible unless you like to look at pics to figure it out. Very frustrating

Out of the box, helmet seems adequate. Assembly instructions are not helpful, but if you're running a chainsaw without wrecking it, you can probably figure this out. Assembly does require some force.
Note that a similar husqvarna helmet without the adjustment wheel also appears under a similar part number, 592752601, currently at a lower price. So I'm not sure what benefit I got for spending a few extra bucks on this one. Not worth returning, though.

They pretty much thought of everything on this hard hat. The ear protection "locks" off your ears for conversations and swivels out of the way when not needed. Face shield tilts up when not needed as well. Comfortable protection.

Cheaply made; parts don't fit properly; visor won't attach to the helmet; not what I thought it would be,. Does't even have the Husqvarna logo on the helmet. Instructions in 15 different languages and not helpful in any of them.

Only used it a couple times so far, but I like it. Light for sure, and for the home handyman- will work good. Like the mesh face shield instead of using safety glasses. Ear protectors work good for me too. Was worried about one review saying something about being a kids helmet. Gotta big melon myself, and it fits great

The helmet works really good and for the money you can't beat it. One trick is to make sure the screen face schield is mounted far enough back so that when pushed down it hits the helmet rim. This keeps it out of the line of sight of the user. Other than that, great helmet!

Helmet is excellent for the price. Great for a working on the ground. The earmuffs that it comes with are awesome. I prefer them to the 3m peltors I have on my petzl helmet.
