I used to use a disposable fork and knife everyday at work until I though about how much plastic I’ve thrown away. It was a lot and I figured there was a better way. I already use the Duo model of fork and spoon for backpacking trips so, I got the trio to take to work everyday. I don’t have any regrets about and I get to know I’m making another small step.

I bought these after a long drive where I was very hungry but unable to unable to eat my salad as we had no cutlery. I keep these in my bag if I'm going on a trip and they're small enough to fit into some unused space. I've used them in airports, cars, and hotel rooms and they keep me from needing to get disposable cutlery. They're easy to clean and feel well made.

I work in corrections. I wanted a utensil kit that was free of metal, in case it was lost or stolen. A plastic weapon is bad, but a metal one is far, far worse. This kit is almost all plastic, except for a built-in can opener in the knife. I can toss the case in my backpack, without getting my belongings dirty. I've gotten compliments on this item. Many of my coworkers want to know where I got it.

I bought these because I travel a lot for work and got tired of the waste and lack of durability of take-out silverware. Being able to carry on a plastic knife that's durable enough to slice cleanly through an avocado skin or cut an apple in half, and a have a fork and spoon I actually like to use for when I order Grub Hub to my hotel room, has been a serious upgrade.

The case is sturdy and durable and helps keep your utensils all in one place.
The knife is sharp enough to cut through campfire steak.
The fork is great as far as camping girls go.
The spoon is a little bit deeper and larger than a teaspoon allowing you to eat beans and soup without too much work.

i use this every day. we have this disappearing silverware issue at work. you leave it in your desk, it'll be gone by the time you get back from a nice weekend at home. people have even tried leaving their forks and whatnot dirty just to deter the would be thieving trolls, to no avail.
these are not only very good quality, but hide well in their case. i found a label machine and labeled mine as "Herpes Meds" (i don't have herpes!)
these haven't been so much as moved yet... people stopped using my cups and such as well... any how. these are great. BUY THEM!

after reading the reviews, i decided to try this out, and surprisingly, the knife actually does cut well, as claimed. i was initially worried about it, however it is practical enough for me to cut through the skin of an orange and beef. the depth of the spoon is ideal. my initial impression of the the fork- i wished the prongs were a little longer, but it is not really an issue after using it.

I am a flight attendant and eating in my room on layovers is sometimes necessary. This group of utensils is perfect! Not like a cheap takeout plastic fork or knife. These work!! Easy to clean and compact and flat in my bag. Buy these if you are flight crew or any person on the planet. Very happy with this purchase!! Thank you HumanGear!!

Useful in a pinch. I keep mine in my car in case I have to eat in my car.
I am not so impressed with the embedded bottle opener -- I imagine that
the cost of adding in that little metal piece probably doubled the price of
the unit, which is already too high ... over $13.
All utensils function well. The one thing that is a bit of an inconvenience
is getting the utensils out and back into the case. They must be lined
up exactly to get them in, and you have pry them out of the case. All
in all they are useful and functional.
The reason I am not rating them higher is because after receiving these
and using them I think the $13+ dollar price is exorbitant. These should be
priced about $9 tops. Basically, I am just not happy with then as I would
be if I felt like I got them at a fair price.

Great quality and absolutely ergonomic for everyday use. Better than any disposable cutlery you will ever use. Good for lunch box or take away lunch. Definitely recommend.

I brown bag my lunch everyday and usually have what I need at my office. However, there numerous times throughout the month that I need to be in the field. This set has a permanent spot in my lunchbox so I never deal with a meal without utensils. The pieces have held up great over the last six months, are easy to clean, and pack away in the small provided container.

I originally bought these for when I travel so I would not have to be throwing away plastic every time I got a meal to go. I now keep it in my purse. They are so much sturdier than regular plasticware and it feels more like a meal when I use these instead of a quick to-go. Plus, I am not throwing anything away!

I bought this because i take my lunch to work and my fork kept poking a hole in whatever bag I was using. This is perfect because it includes everything in one case and it is very sturdy. It would be great for camping or to keep in the car- much sturdier than the cheap cutlery at fast food restaurants.

This is the perfect travel kit. The quality is high, the utensils clean easily and they never smell bad after prolonged use. I own 3 sets. One for work, on for the car and one for my backpack.

These are awesome and the only reason I'm giving it a four star is because you cannot replace the single item. I have lost the fork into different sets and replaced one of them with what I thought would fit. The replacement I bought was a Humangear (spoon and fork nest togeter) but not one that would fit within the case.

Very sturdy material, durable, easy to access the spoon and fork. Knife will probably wear out with use very fast.
