I love this phone, with some very minor reservations about battery life and its ability to function in weak signal areas. It feels good, has a great screen, it's fast and smooth in operation...I would give it 5 stars if it wasn't that it has a crippling bug, known as the 'Home Screen Button Problem'.This bug appears, seemingly at random, in weak signal areas, when the phone is switching between signal types, and causes the home screen button to act like it's being pressed repeatedly. This kicks you back to the home screen from whatever app you're using, and disables the capacitive buttons until you manually lock then unlock the phone. The main annoyance for me is that it makes using satnav apps while driving a complete lottery - if you get out in the country with low signal coverage, you'll be stopping every few minutes to get the satnav back after this bug strikes.Many users have returned their phones for repair or replacement, but find the phones they get back begin to suffer the same problem after a few weeks. It's a great shame, but this is a fatally flawed phone at present.

Nice device, but be aware that numerous users are experiencing a SERIOUS ISSUE whenever carrier signal is weak:The phone will then switch homescreen/multiple screen view on its own in very quick succession, and disable all the capacitive buttons. It will keep doing this until you find a spot where the signal is better (if you're lucky). In the meantime, you will not be able to do anything at all: call, pick-up, use apps, whatever. Basically, you then completely loose control over your phone.This issue has been reported to HTC by many users FOR SEVERAL MONTHS NOW, but no patch or update has been released yet as to address the problem. So keep this in mind if you want to purchase this device... You have been warned.Various threads on XDA forum are currently discussing this issue, gathering testimonies from hundreds of users and organizing a communication campaign to inform the masses. Let me just start by saying that i love this phone. i have experienced none of the problems that other reviews have been talking about.Screen- the screen very good. idk if it is anything speciel but its got great graphics.Sound- great... thats the only word that describes it. as you know its got beats by dre audio installed so whenever any media is playing it turns on.Build- the phone is very nice. the body of it is aluminum, its so thin!!!Battery- battery life isnt great only like 8 or nine hours if your using aplications.internet browsing- its very fast. about 70 persent of the time the conection. some of the other reviews say that when the phone has low bars that it like goes nuts of somthing. i have had the phone for about 2 months and never had this problem.

I'm stealing this from another online reviewer, but I want to rub this phone against my face. Constantly. The One S is absolutely gorgeous -- thin, light and easy to hold. I have the T-Mobile version. And it's functional. I clock about 13mbps download speeds on T-Mobile's HSPA+ network, which is pretty dang good.Cons:- Pentile display, and I can tell. The display is truly gorgeous with popping colors and great viewing angles, but the pentile pixel arrangement means text can be fuzzy at times. It's disappointing in an otherwise perfect piece of hardware.- No Micro SD card and only 16GB internal memory. That's plenty for apps -- not so much for those who like to carry a lot of offline music or video content.Pros:- Fast as blazes. No lag, ever.- Gorgeous. Stunning. The design on this phone makes an iPhone 4S look like one of those car-phone bricks from the 80s- Good radio reception compared to my old HTC Sensation XE- HTC Sense 4.0 has morphed into something actually useful- Good camera. Not great camera, but good camera- Easy to root and customize, if you're into that.Anyway, I love this phone. It's refined, and proves what the Android platform can do. I just wish they had made room for a MicroSD slot and included a slightly better display, like the One X's.

The phone had some great feature and was exciting for the first couple of days. However, I realized that my internet was slow, so I called customer service and was told since it wasn't a T-Mobile phone it didn't pick the 4G and I was only able to run 2G or edge and those are extremely basic and slow. It was like trying to use the Internet on a Nokia. Interne being one of the most important features it pretty much out shine everything else about the phone. Its a real pain to always have to try and find Wifi just to pull up Gogogle.

I just got this phone today and I am very disapointed when I got it. It has t-mobile written all over the box. If I wanted to order the t-mobile blue version, I would've gone to my store and got it. I gave it a 2nd chance and thought maybe it's and unlocked blue version? ... Nope, after charging it and turning it on, it had the t-mobile logo and all of its apps pre-installed. I felt very ripped off. Hopefully I can exchange it and get the real z520e model.One small note ... the box was already opened. I could see the cut from the very important sticker on the sides. At first I didnt really notice it, but as I read the manual, the box is suppose to come with a sim card and that was missing from the package. So clearly they took out the micro sim card from this package. I really hope I can return this and get the z520e model.

This is the best Android phone I have ever had. Others were slow, but not this. This far surpasses the iPhone 4 that I owned.

I love the design of the phone and the performances are great.However the infamous "home" button defect has completely ruined my experience and caused the phone to be unusable for most of the time. I had been in situations where I can not even terminate a call and end up being connected for many long minutes without been able to do anything about it.HTC sent me a replacement which is having the same fault.I know many users are having the same issue. Think twice before buying this phone.

The phone was not unlocked and it was not black. Other than that it's in great condition. It has been working well so far.

Disclaimer: This is a vendor review and not an item review..I bought this item from FGS Trading and they shipped me a z560e instead of the z520e.The z560e has the older Snapdragon S3 processor and is overclocked at 1.7 Ghz as compared to the S4 processor in the z520e.The phone by itself is awesome.... and I am not seeing any significant performance difference, but battery life sucks..Also at times the devices gets heated up.. So if you are thinking of buying this item ensure that you are indeed getting the z520e.

I ordered this phone on May 24, 2012. It just arrived.No where in the description did it say I would be sent a Tmobile Branded phone that is unlocked. In my opinion, the description is a bit misleading.1. The phone is blue/gradient, not black.2. It was basically a Tmobile phone that is unlocked.The worse part, I'm unable to get the phone working on ATT network. I can make telephone calls and use text messaging, but after spending an hour on the phone with ATT last night, still unsuccessful. We reset the phone numerous times, manually entered the APN settings under the mobile network settings and still no luck.I'm not sure it's worth ordering this phone... but I guess it depends on what you are looking to do.Good luck.

I bought this for my wife, and for the most part she loves it. Fast & responsive, good picture quality (for her needs), and the audio is crisp & clean.

The phone is awesome! Te delivery was really fast. the package was really well build and the cellphone was new, in a new box, all perfectly sealed. BUT!!!!! The cellphone is T-mobile, so I bought a SIM card for an UNLOCKED phone like the title said and it does not work why? because is T-MOBILE!!! it says T-MOBILE on the phone it does not says HTC like in the picture! Beside that the phone is the best! super pretty, comfortable and fast!

The phone is very good. And it's T-mobile logo phone.What disappointed me is that the bag didn't contain the headphone.Where is it?And the power line was damaged so i have to ues my old one to charge the phone.Anyway,the phone is a very good

I was definitely excited to get this product, but this is definitely not what was advertised. I was expecting the international black version and instead received the T-Mobile blue/grey version. I decided I could get over that since I have T-Mobile anyway, but there was no micro-SIM card included. This phone WILL NOT take the standard sim card, which now poses a huge problem for me. Hopefully I can find a solution because the phone itself is magnificent!

I love this phone, its "phone" size. I know everyone wants these bigger phones but I like it. its enough screen that you can text, surf, and dial but its not like having a to make a call on tablet!

Watch Out - Something is fishy here. The One S Version is T-Mobile Specific. It is grey (not black) and has blue trim.
