Модель хорошая, отличный дисплей, камера на удивление хорошо снимает.
Скорость отклика, цветопередача дисплея. - - Не съемный аккумулятор, нет отдельного слота для карты памяти.
Когда на устройстве установлено много приложений...

- + Экран SLCD (хотя на коробке написано AMOLED). Сразу могу сказать, что розовым не отсвечивает, цвета воспроизводит корректно, нареканий пока нет).
Процессор 1ГГц - за это наше большое душевное спасибо. Первый телефон у меня, который реально нигде не тормозит.
ОС Андроид (стояла 1.6, при включении обновилась сама до 2.2)
Мультитач с фирменной обочкой Sens (читал, что многим не нравится. Мне понравилось). - - Сборка - го.но! Как я понял из форумов на всем известном сайте, процент криво вклеенных экранов, отстающих и скрипящих задних крышек и прочих косяков сборки - 50%. Позор компании HTC. За такую цену сборка должна быть лучше.
Внешний динамик поучились бы делать у Нокии (только не С7).
Какой-то кошмар с контактами. Все нелогично, хотя и можно привыкнуть.
Ну и главное: 150 мб свободной памяти для приложений пользователя это просто издевательство для телефона на Андроиде с сотнями тысяч приложений в маркете. Мне конечно могут возразить, что приложения можно ставить на карту памяти, но на это я могу возразить, что не все туда ставятся без root. А те что ставятся без рут, ставятся не целиком и какая то часть все равно остается на телефоне. Как итог, рано или поздно настает момент, когда приходится выбирать, что стереть, чтобы поставить что-нибудь новое. Косвенно HTC признали проблему - на следующих моделях памяти телефона уже 4 ГБ.

I bought this unlocked phone in UK(actually one from Carphonewarehouse, they sell unlocked phone at the same price as any network version. And the other from Amazon.co.uk), hoping that I could use it when I return to USA.The phone is light, and COMPACT. I can walk without any silly bulge in the pants. It works in Android 4.0, with a clear call quality, and its the Beat sound, left on the tabletop, is loud enough. In UK, it works on 3G network; whatever the signals UK networks(3 network, virgin, vodafone UK) send, it worked fast to guide me to anywhere with travel/navigation apps. And, I was told this would work with T-mobile and AT&T in USA. I was re-confirmed by a verizon store staff that this will NOT work with Verizon as their network phone comes with no sim card.It is not a shabby phone at all. I give 4.5 star for their compact yet full features I have enjoyed in UK.___________________Upon returning to USA, I searched for the network that would work with this phone.As a decade of AT&T (former Cingular) customer, i could pick $20 data plane that simply adds 300mb/month for a quick tryout(call plans, separate, and unfortunately, no sim card only bargain plan was availe like T-mobile) but this one gets registered in 2-3 min phone call, but the data is only awkwardly slow. AT&T technicians tried to help further but, they repeatedly say "since this is NOT one of our network phones, we cannot provide further..."The only signal I get is E(Edge=2G speed) signal. How disappointing!The representative said 'GSM acceptible' in the HTC production info means Edge(2G) connection. And their 3G signal in USA won't be the same one as UK networks carry. Even though it says 3G, it is not quite compatible. That is a big bummer.Anyway, to get connected to AT&T, you will need regular-size(UK size) blank sim card from AT&T store. If you ordered a sim card, there will be $3-7 extra charge.As I was long out-of-contract AT&T customer, there was no Activation Charge($35). Once you accept the smartphone sim card, you can still drop the data plan and go back to non-smart deal(I doubt I will) and it will require another sim card, the company says.The next best option is go phone with $50 Unlimited everything plan but they will have to honor Desire C, which I didn't try yet.____________Alternatively, to get connected to T-mobile, there is a sim card only plan, starting from $70/$90/$110. And, they require 2 year contract. Not for me yet.You can also try their pay as go plan at the competitive rate. But, my search just ended there to try out this AT&T 300mB at additional $20. And, I can change it to 3GB at $30 whenever or vice versa.I set the connection priority to Wi-Fi vs. AT&T network so that it doesn't consume the data plan I joined much. And, that is cheaper way to use Smartphone on AT&T instead of $40 smartphone charges and further $45+ monthly fees they are introducing with Shared Data Plans. Greedy, I must say._______________________Final thoughts.I am still satisfied with Desire C's speed on my wifi (thanks to Comcast plus internet service at home). And my 2G connection in anywhere else is barely acceptable with spotty downloading speed(Google Navi locator took 30sec-1min to pinpoint where I was. TED(streaming) would never play on my screen with 2G).So, even though I like the handset, this 2G connection speed in USA should be your key consideration before considering this phone.If you are outside home all the time, never near wifi, this is not going to be your best buddy, unless you find a good use of it in other countries like I do.

This phone is not as I expected. The resolution is disappointing especially for videos, it's horribly pixelated . I also had a bad experience when the product instructions tell you right off the bat to charge the phone before you do anything else, so I charged it a full two days, without any response from the phone. I later found out they had not cared to inform customers to remove the plastic lining from the battery in the instructions. A mishap on the manufacturer's or HTC's part. Also, when I finally first turned on the phone everything was in Chinese, and some text still stay in Chinese even after I changed the setting to English, I'm still not fond of the huge foreign charger with adapter that came with the phone. This phone was also not sent to me within 3-5 business days of ordering, which was when I needed it before my trip. I also saw this phone online now for a lesser price and twice the storage. Not only that, but the seller was also upsetting when I told them I wanted to return the phone, they rudely said they were going to charge me a ridiculous restocking fee of 30% not including the shipping and handling fees to return the phone. I would not recommend this phone nor the seller to anyone. I would actually advise people to avoid buying from this seller if you don't want to be ripped off. L2D2Online was the seller name I dealt with. Now I really regret my choice of buying this phone and from this seller.

I really like this phone so far, It slightly exceeded my expectations! A pleasant surprise, as always. It's a pretty quick phone, and since it's unlocked I got to teach myself how to mess with the APN settings. (I panicked at first, but it ended up not being a big deal.) Nice big screen, very responsive. The only issues I have is that I had no idea what color of this phone I was getting, they come in brown, and occasionally black. I couldn't find anywhere in the description what color I was getting! I didn't care one way or another about the color so it wasn't a big deal, but I still wouldn't have minded knowing. (It was brown, for the record.) My only other issue is that the dumb headset that comes with it is kind of.....broken. KIND OF. I have to twist the headset cord a certain way to get audio through both ear buds. I can replace the headset for not very much though, so not a big deal, but still kind of disappointing. Other than those two issues, I'm really enjoying my new toy!!

If it weren't for the Ice Cream Sandwich, this phone wouldn't have too much to recommend it. That, and the price, I suppose. The HTC Desire C is about the size of he iPhone at 3.5 inches, but oh, how different. It's a quiet sort of design, for those who don't look to make any statements through the gadgets they carry. That probably isn't me, I must admit. It has a nice rubberized back and at first I thought it was a unibody phone that was refusing to get switched on. I prised open the back and found a red battery sitting inside a red interior. Funny place to put in a design touch -- where it'll rarely be seen. The battery is a 1200mAh. Other important specs are that it has only a 600MHz processor and 512MB RAM and 4GB internal storage all of which is not available to the user. Just as well then that it has an Micro SD card slot. It doesn't take a micro sim but a normal one.The Desire C feels very nice in the palm. It's just the right holdable size. The screen is nice enough with no ugly hard-hitting glare. It's a good Android entry level no-fuss no-frills phone. It's amazing that the device is fitted out with ICS and HTC's Sense 4.0 at a time when phones are still beng launched with Gingerbread!My device was strictly a review unit.

Okay as a quick overview:1) First time in my life got an amazon prime delivery late2) This phone is not fully unlocked and does not work with T-mobile3) It is heavy for its size and behind in software and hardware technology4) The worst configuration of battery/sim slots I have ever seen with two separate entry points and covers which thereafter do not fit properly once you remove them.In all, I'm returning this product. Epic fail HTC.

When choosing a smart phone i had done a lot of research and came up with two options at the time, HTC and Samsung. Samsung is great, but HTC has a little more innovation and technical aspects which i like and the HTC Desire is great at it. I had previously owned a HTC Desire HD, but it fell and the screen cracked after a couple days of use and even after repairing it, i jus didnt want it again, but the phone was superb, great UI, physical feel and jus overall construction. While searching for a replacement, i came right back to HTC and took a second look at the Desire. Not only that, but my gf wanted a smartphone as well. I ordered the first one from WorldwideDistributors through Amazon, with excellent delivery time and an excellent product too. Moving on the phone now......Pros of HTC Desire.Great size.Sturdy Feel.Hardware Specs are great for the price.Camera is up to par.AMOLED screen is superb.The HTC Sense UI is wonderfully easy to use.Cons of HTC Desire, these are the make or break things for u, trust me.Battery Life is just average abt day and a half max with moderate to heavy use (Samsung Galaxy S i9000 is much much better, but so is the price i guess).Internal memory Sucks, jus over 150mb to store apps (didnt see this as a problem as i rooted mine and can store apps on the sd card).No folder support, u cant make folders in the UI, u have to attach to the computer as a SD card and manually create folders (not very user friendly in that aspect).No more Android support, from what i have read, HTC is only going to release support up to Android 2.2 Froyo so if ur looking for something more up to date software wise, need to get something else..Just being petty i guess, but when in ur pocket, the speaker does not ring loud enough and u may have some missed calls.Overall what sold me on this phone is the price, it was very reasonable for the hardware, even though WW had it a couple dollars extra, u pay for service which is no problem for me. I bought one for my gf and after seeing how excellent the phone was for me, i ordered a second one jus for me from the same distributor. If u purchase this phone and u are keen on protection, which ive learnt about since i dropped my Desire HD, there are two cases u can get, the OtterBox Commuter series case (much better than the Defender series by far) or the Case-Mate Tough case, which to me is the best case overall, way better protection.I hope this review has helped u decide if the HTC Desire is right for u, i love it, but its not everyones cup of tea and the main personal judging point is if ur a geek and like to dig in to ur tech go for it, if ur one of those ppl that jus want to buy and use and dont care abt the workings too much, not the best option for u, though it is still an option.Enjoy!!!

I got this phone to use with Straight Talk (in the US) and it works great. Speed hasn't been a problem, however, There are a couple of features that I would liked to have had.-There is no Auto Focus! No QR or Barcode scanning!-The Back, Home, and Recent Apps buttons ARE NOT LIT!-There is no flash-Screen sensitivity could be better-It smaller that you think! Draw out the dimensions!-Lack of internal storage (Only 2G NOT including pre-loaded programs)-No Corning Gorilla GlassBut don't stray away from this phone yet! It's a GREAT phone for these reasons!-It's small and fits in your pocket-GPS Feature ROCKS-Good battery life compared to other smartphones-Works GREAT with Straight Talk Service-Just a FUN phoneThis phone is great beyond what I can explain in this review, but just take note that you might miss out on some features, but all in all, it's a GREAT phone!

This phone works great, as good as any other top Android phone, it will work out of the box with at&t network but, if you want to get the most out of it you should edit the phone APN settings so you can send and receive not only SMS messages but also MMS messages without the need of a data plan (you may need a texting plan).

I love the photo that Desire was able to take, which was one of the reasons I bought it other than good price. But after using for 1+ year, it was quite disappointing to find too many uncontrollable process running in the phone. I am quite technical but there were no available means to kill the processes. I have to charge it every night in order to use during the day for half of the day. Then need to charge again in the afternoon. If I do not charge the phone before goes to bed, even 50% battery will run dry the next day without even being used overnight. Before HTC Desire I was an IPhone user. I'm switching back to IPhone.

I really love my htc desire. Arrived very fast ! Everything is ok and it came with a 16 gb sd. The phone is better than I esperado, htc sense is beautiful :) I recommend it !

If you don't mind an "old" phone that's been out in the market for some time, but still delivers and works flawlessly, this is for you.I've had this phone for almost two years and have not had but marvels to say about it. This is more than you'll ever need or use in a phone. Sure, more processor is always better!!!.. if you use it.. Facebook, angrybirds, documents.. it does it all with no lag. Do you really use more than that? if no, you'll be a happy chap!It works with AT&T, and if you are international, it works excellent with Telcel in Mexico.. oh, and for the current asking price of 240 bucks... really, what are you waiting for!?

The phone worked fine for a few months after I bought it. I started to have problems after 4-5 months of use; it first started with the phone's speakers which was fixed buy an authorized party fairly cheaply. Then came the more recent problem (12 months of use, phone was never dropped or sustained any physical damage) where the phone no matter what I do constantly vibrates. I bought this from FGS TRADING, INC through Amazon and it was clearly marked to have no warranty but I am beginning to think that the phone wasn't new and possibly refurbished. Very Unhappy with my purchase of this HTC.

Fantastic phone, this is my first Android smartphone and I am impressed. Hardware wise I really like the rubber backing, nice and secure grip and not slippery like the plastic or metal most phones have. The metallic brown finish is another plus, looks unique and elegant. Love the HTC clock and weather widget and what to say about Android, just like all Google stuff its simple and intuitive - when using the phone or customizing it everything just makes sense. The phone is extremely responsive when swiping or running apps with no lag, also very good call quality on earpiece but only passable speaker. Screen is very nice, I have the SLCD version and have no complaints. Text is sharp and colors are vibrant. Even though it does not support U.S. 3G I chose the Desire over the Nexus One and Mytouch 4G. I like the Desire's look over the Nexus and MT4G as well as HTC Sense, optical trackpad and slightly updated specs over the Nexus. Funny how the phone is the least used function, Edge is not so bad for browsing but when connected to WiFi on my network it basically turns into a mini tablet for me. Web browsing, checking emails and news, media stuff like youtube, checking up on payments for auctions.. and on top of that its a touchscreen remote for my Squeezebox and desktop. Incredible to say the least.Only two cons with the Desire that most owners have already mentioned - the short battery life and usable memory. Battery life is not horrible but not great either, prob get a full day on moderate use. Memory though is definitely insufficient, only about 140MB of space for apps. Even for a light user like myself it is not enough and Ive ran into the low space warning once or twice. Fortunately the good news is that both these problems can be solved with a little modding (the fun part!), hint: google htc desire root. After a few customizations I am able to install apps to the MicroSD card to save space and get max about 2 days on the battery. Again, the default 1 day battery is not so bad considering the phone is used for so many functions, most smartphones average in that range. But I am happy with the mods that just adds on to an already spectacular phone. Btw I would also recommend the Case-mate Barely There case for the Desire, adds a little more grip and protection but does not affect the size or look (hence the name). Overall extremely satisfied with my purchase and highly recommend the Desire, HTC and Google rocks!

I bought this phone because in your publication it was indicated that it would connect to the 3G network in the HSDPA 900/2100/850/1900 bands and the one I received only works with HSDPA 850/1900 (this can be seen in the box, in the pictures I already sent), you're talking about the exterior appearance of the phone, however I cannot use it as I was expected to, therefore I come to the conclusion that this publication was a fraud, since the product I received was not what I was supposed to.Considering that I bought the european version of this device, (Desire A9191EUK HD) of the Desire HD, and the one I received the american version, this is not right, and it was like I said before a deceiving publication.

As most of the people writting, it is in fact a great android phone, brother of the Nexus One. AMOLED vs SLCD=> No sense to compare. But potential buyers, specially those located outside the US, must be warned of the fact that international version mean that one item will be randomly taken from stock and shipped to you..and its configuration can be to anyplace , japanesse, chinesse, and in my unfortunatelly case, for arabian market. The difference is the preloaded applications through ROM memory. I bought an international version thinking that maybe, the cellphone could come with some spanish apps or otherwise some european apps (like language system, news, etc.). But when I received the apparatus and turned it on, Problems started. First: Only two languages to choose for operating system; English/Arabic. Fortunately I understand some english and said 'its ok but wish i have found spanish option'. Second: Found some muslim apps, at ROM level and it means that I cannot remove it, Specially one irritating program which reminds the muslim pray time by "singing" a chorus and there were no way to make it to stop neither by forcing it to stop through settings. It made me to be on the verge of flashing the OS. Fortunatelly, and looking through the Web I found the way to make a soft reset and now the program is still there but inactive. Third: Apps related with weather, time and world clock had preloaded arabic cities. In this case it was relatively easy to remove and change cities. Finally, I found some additional apps to compose with spanish dictionary. Finally today I'm fine with the device but after one week of thoroughly visit forums, setting it, etc.I suggest that everybody interested in one of this device, just buy domestic version. After all, I'm sure that ironically, it comes with spanish language option and whatever apps it brings, it always will be closer for europe and latinamerica than this "International version".
