Best Buy wanted $150 for this; Amazon through partner had it for $89 and I received it in 36 hours. You can't argue with that.

I bought this as a home printer, I print a lot of pages out and I wanted an inexpensive printer but I wanted it to be wireless.It was very easy to set up, no problems whatsoever. The best thing about the printer is the fact that you can click print on your computer and the printer will start up by itself without me having to turn it on! A big plus for me.The only problem i have with the printer is the fact that I have to flip the pages myself for double sided printing.

Very nice printer. Very easy to install. Once on wireless, it is simple to set up other printers also because it has its driver in flash rom and new computers just need to load using it's own web page.

One thing that I really liked about this printer, is there is no need at all to use an installation disk. (although one is included) When you plug the USP cable up to the computer from the printer the installation/driver software is loaded to the computer from the printer via USB. Makes a very quick and easy installation.

This printer is great. The setup took a couple of minutes because my router requires a password. I had to plug it into my computer with the included USB cable.I love the fact that the printer shuts itself off and, without any intervention, turns on and starts printing as required.In addition, the speed is amazing. I've been used to an ink jet printer, which was speedy for an ink jet, and when I saw the first page out of the HP I thought it had just passed a blank page.Not having to plug this into my computer with yet another cable to add to my rats nest of cables is another great feature of the printer.I highly recommend this printer.

I was dubious but HP is my printer of choice, so when the time came to upgrade from our workhorse HP1012 to something that supported Network printing (AND Win7, and Office2010), I wanted a wireless printer. I found it cheaper in a brick/mortar local retailer but the reviews on Amazon were what made the decision. The installation was initially frustrating- SKIP Process A, use Process B for any wireless install and you will be amazed at how easily it sets up for you. Otherwise, it is an HP Laserjet, solid and dependable. If only the cartridges were cheaper.

I am a high school teacher. The budget cuts made it impossable to get a new printer from my district. I purchased this printer with my own money and feel it is one of the best moves I have made for my classroom in a long time. The copies are of a high quality and the speed is great.

The directions for a Mac wireless setup was difficult. The directions were not clear at all. It took me about 45 minutes to finally get it working. After the setup though, everything works flawlessly - it's a very easy setup. If it weren't for the difficult setup, this product would have received 5 stars.Update - A year later everything is still working perfectly. I actually recommended my father in law to get this for his new laptop/wireless setup. I'd definitely recommend this printer.Also, I'm still on the original toner as well (oh how I love laser printers).

Being in IT and certified on all things related to networking and desktop computing I knew going into a home printer purchase that I wanted something that can handle more printing per cartridge than what most inkjets put out. I chose the HP 1102W based on user reviews and specs.It was a worthwhile purchase. Item comes as described and has the benefit of being a laser printer. Fast clean/crisp printing for standard home use and maybe even small office use. It prints fast after a brief warmup and the printer will go into shutoff mode when idle for some time conserving energy. I would recommend this if you are looking to do B/W one sided printing in your home.

No complaints. Was surprised how small it was compared to my old HP 1000. If you need a BW Laser don't waste your time looking at any other brand. It really is a nice printer.

I purchased this printer to work wirelessly in a Linux installation. It does not work. Shame on you HP, creating a wireless printer in this day and age with proprietary driver setup and without even a built-in web server to auto configure. I am returning and will be looking for alternative printers from another manufacturer.

Just got it from another source, used some reward points.Great deal for under $100USDQuick setup on 2 desktops, 2 netbooks, and a work notebook, Windows 7;32 and 64 bit OS.Router set up the most complicated, could be issue for those unused to the configuration interface of the router.700 page toner cartridge comes with it1600 page cartridge ~65USDWould recommend to casual home user with wireless or USB connected use.Rgds.

it's good and still works well till now.I was quite puzzled when I tried to get it out of the package.there are many steps to set it up and you have to adjust many parts of it.on the other hand it's quite easy to install on the computer and you need no cds.main body look hard and strong.but the paper in and our trail is easy to break, as fas as I am concerned.print in good condition and not stuck my paper.a little noisy.there is a button you can turn it on or shut it down.wires behide the printed makes it not able to stand besides the wall.

Received printer very quickly, works good, compact size.It seems fairly loud but I have never had a laser printer before, my previous printer was an inkjet and that wasquite loud also. Prints very fast.

I've had this printer for about a month now and it is the best home printer I have ever had. Didn't think I would ever find a workhorse printer that would go with Windows 7 when I purchased my new laptop. Got it on sale, installation was a breeze and it works great!

I really love hp laser printers. I have never owned an ink jet printer because the ink is such a waste of money. I like to print a lot of things out; resumes, manuals, directions, etc. The hp just keeps going and is the ultimate work horse. I highly recommend this printer.

The HP P1102W is a great laser printer with sharp printouts and fast speeds.My only problem with this printer was with the wireless connectivity on Macs. With a PC, HP has included a Smart Install option on the CD that works like a Wizard to create your wireless connection. But with Macs, there is very little help either on the CD or in the manual. I had to call HP technical support for assistance. They had me go to System Preferences to do a manual setup. The USB setup went fine, though.With other HPs I have purchased, they have made it extremely easy to set up a wireless connection, but not with the HP P1102w. Yes, this printer is compatible with Macs, but HP has made it harder to set up wirelessly than a PC.

Delivered on time, great price, toner doesn't seem to last as long as other printers in our office but the cost of the refill is less so I guess that makes up for it. We are happy with the purchase.

Be sure to see the You Tube vid on installing the printer for a Mac. Very simple, but the printer should include these instructions. Great HP product nonetheless.

I would definitely recommend this printer. It's super fast a cheap. When I first started looking for a laser I was looking at 200 - 300 for a printer, this was delivered free and under 100 dollars (98.99). Set-up wasn't as easy as connect and go, but it only took a few minutes to set up wireless printing, worth it.
