This is an "all in one" computer that is supposed to fax, scan and print. It doesn't scan under Vista, since HP has never provided the software to run the scanner. I suggest you not buy this machine if you are running Vista

Great machine but do NOT buy it for a Vista system.Even if they state on their website the system is compatible, they forgot to mention that the scanner software is a generic one included with Vista. Scans only one sheet at a time. Does not output PDF files.So the document feeder is useless for scanning.They do not even have an ETA for a new driver.If history is a good guide ....when XP was launched it took them for some of their systems a full year to get the drivers ready.

After having different AIOs including Brother 7820N and Samsung SCX-4521F I just I love this HP model 3055. This is what makes it better then the rivals:1. Quiet - comparing to the Brother MFC and my Laser printer Minolta 1350W.2. Fast - printing w/o noticable initial "warming" lag - thanks to Intant-On!3. Power usage - energe efficient in both work and standby modes - not tripping my APC too.4. Relatively fast color scans - not like with Brother MFC or Samsung.5. ADF works flawlessly - load papers, press "Scan" button and it will do the rest.6. Scanning options - is really nice to have that many programmable scanning modes with one touch of the button! You can configure AIO scan menu with different "actions" - even scan to different computers on the network.7. OCR software is included.8. Overall build quality with lots of options.So I my opinion, it is really the best in its class since there is a 50% off retail promo for October.

I have only used the copy portion and it works great. However, I agree that there is an annoying hum and that alone will make me return this printer. Even 5 feet away it is annoying.

This is a nice printer except that the unit that I have is very unreliable at receiving incoming faxes. It will receive faxes from some fax machines some of the time. It will not receive faxes from some other fax machines at all. This is especially true if no one is home to answer the phone and even sometimes when I answer the phone, press 1-2-3, and hang up the phone after the two machines have connected.I've brought the machine to three different houses but with the same results. I've changed every possible relevant option in its control panel but that doesn't help.

Graat all in one printer. Had this printer for a while... no problems so far. I would recommend this product.

I think (HP Laser Jet 3055 all in one) is so far the best printer i ever owned. The printer itself weight about 25 pounds, not too heavy i think for a laserjet. Also, it's not too big/bulky that it will take too much room. As for the printer itself's performance, the speed and quality of prints are superb, no need to stand and wait. Copying document are so simple and clear, scan is fast and smooth. Overall, i think this printer truly deserve 5 stars!!! People, if you are looking for the best home office printer, i suggest you get this one, it's definitly a winner!

I love this all in one, it's a little big, but much better then the brother 7820N I got first, while the 7820N is smaller, 7820N had some page curl and eats 1032 watts at peak which kept tripping my computer's APC, this unit does not have paper curl and only hits 300 watts peak which is well below my circuit capacity. I would recommend this unit over all MFCs on the market, and with the currect 50% rebate going on for OCT, it cannot be beat for the price. If you need a B&W laser all in one, this is the best.

Very satisfied with the purchase. Easy to set up. Print speed and quality are excellent. Only complaint is that the scanning software is not as good as with previous HP AOI's.

It is a good All-in-one printer. Printing quality is good. Many useful features for daily small office work. However I would say that HP should add wireless option for this printer. Also use this machine as a scanner lacks some flexibility. With the software provided by HP, you can not just scan part of your documents. The scan speed is slow too. But over all quality is good.

Мне понравилось получать тонер на следующий день моей покупки, раньше, чем прогнозируется. Я сразу же отправился на попробовать, без defraudaciones сработало. Он стоял и принтер, важной чертой в этой покупке :)

Очень хороший продукт с отличной цене
Пришел очень быстро, в хорошем состоянии и до сих пор он работал очень хорошо. Уже были очень хорошие покупки, особенно учитывая его цену.
