Отличная модель
- + Простота обслуживания, качество печати.
- - Проблема с драйверами на 7-ку (печать работает, сканирование через раз, но кабель без ферритовых колец). Сломалась петля крышки сканера (за такое кол-во лет жизни этого аппарата это еще хороший показатель)
Наша фирма стала n-ым хозяином этого принтера. Помыли, почистили чумазенького (был весь черный из-за большого кол-ва просыпанного внутри тонера) и в бой. У нас он работает больше 5 лет. Проблема при установке на 7-ку возникла только с драйверами сканера. Путем перебора разных вариантов драйверов сканер заработал, но периодически бывает ошибка. Кол-во отпечатанных страниц уже перевалило за 400 тыщ.

Дома вытащил кучу камней сора и грязи перетряхнул весь. Офис переезжал. Проверил печатает без ошибок . Сканер высококачественный цветной 8000 на 7000 выдает каждый малейший штрих видно. Купили не оригинальный подходящий картридж и работает как с родным. разрешение...

Никого не слушайте, аппарат возможно будет работать по USB но нормально сканировать в сеть он не будет. Старшие модели же могут отправлять сканы на FTP сервер, а для таких как 3050 и 2727 драйвера пишут в Индии и работают они отвратительно. Мы вообще...

Кривое программное обеспечение
Используем в офисе как сетевой сканер. Пришел, с аппарата сосканировал документ, он его ложит в папачку на сервере, идешь на свое место и забираешь документ. По задумке все красиво, но на практике... Для реализации этой функции на один из компов надо установить HPToolboxFX, через который все и работает. Хотел установить его на сервер, но сругался, что данная ось не поддерживается (W2003Server)! Пришлось ставить на рабочую станцию. На первый, а потом и второй комп с WinXPSP3 установить не удалось, не видит аппарат и все. Установилось на машину с Win2000SP4 и даже заработало...

Хорошее качество пластика.
С обязанностями принтера и копировального аппарата справляется хорошо. - - 1) Завышена цена
2) HP не изменяет традициям - программное обеспечение их сотрудники пишут ногами. Постоянные сбои в программном обеспечении сканера под вистой и семеркой. При сканировании кипы документов через автоподатчик, в среднем четверть приходится пересканировать. Скорее всего здесь ошибка в программе, при передаче отсканированного материала часть изображений сильно искажаются...

- - Из косяков. Раз взглючили настройки сети - при вводе IP адреса вручную он сбрасывался на 0.0.0.0 и его сетевое подключение переходило на 10 мбит/с, вместо 100. Прошло само. Самый главный косяк - отсутствие драйверов под Висту и особенно Висту 64. Есть только драйвер принтера. Ни сканера, ни факса, драйвера под Висту 64 не сделано! Поэтому, прежде чем покупать сей...

МФУ спроектирована для малых офисов и для дома, и со своими функция справляется на ура. НИКАКОЙ РАЗМЫТОСТИ В ПЕЧАТИ, НИКАКИХ ПРОБЛЕМ СО СКАНЕРОМ, ВООБЩЕ ОТЛИЧНЫЙ АППАРАТ В СВОЕМ КЛАССЕ! И не правда то, что пишут про него! Пальцы у вас кривые ребята! И руки не оттуда растут! Нечего сравнивать "грузовик" с "легковушкой"!

I believe the actual release date of this device is in 2005 or 2006. The hardware seems to be excellent, solid, built like a tank, worthy of HP's reputation. However, the software definitely could use improvement, and I am not even referring to it not working with Vista or Win 7. I have the device installed and running via a USB connection on a WinXP-SP3 machine. Even though it was (apparently) designed to be used under WinXP, the "Full software package" will ALWAYS give an error during installation UNLESS it is (apparently) installed under WinXP-SP2 or lower! Yes, it will not install properly at all if you've upgraded to WinXP-SP3! Fortunately, I was able to go to HP's website and they had some driver packages, but there were so many as to create a lot of confusion. I tried one after another, and finally after installing the "5e" drivers, got the printer part working, but not the scanner. I then downloaded and installed the "Scanner fix" utility, and the scanner started to work, with a number of quirks. As I normally use MS Office Scanner utility to scan, for some reason this utility could only scan using the sheet feeder, but NOT the flatbed. But I was able to scan on the flatbed when using a separate photo editing program, but had to use WinXP's generic scanner interface, which by the way could not use the sheet feeder ... so I have to use MS Office Scanner to scan from the sheet feeder, and the other program if scanning from the flatbed. A bit of a nuisance, but at least it worked. As I could not install the "Full package" I never could get the Networking features of this device to work. I don't use the fax part of the device so cannot comment on its capabilities, but it apparently has a "send network fax" feature, however since I cannot access the network (which needs the "Full software package") I am unable to test that feature. The copy function works fine. So for the $40 I paid for this device (yes $40, I bought it at a garage sale), I suppose it's pretty decent, and will probably last for many years more, and I've learned to live with all the quirks and necessary work around.

Only had like 1 jam with this printer in the 3+ years of use so far. Good, solid workhorse printer. The fax works solidly as well (although I wish there was a way to turn off the printing of burst/summary pages JUST for inbound non-fax calls). Never been able to get the scanner function to work with my Mac, but I didn't try very hard since my other printer (a Brother) "Just Worked" the first time I tried, so I use it for that purpose.

I work with three of these printers on a regular basis and they have been great. I have all three of them configured as network printers.In addition to the driver suite, this printer supports the use of LaserJet "reference drivers" included with operating systems...if you do not want to install the included CD, the printer can be used as a "regular laser printer".I am not a big fan of network scanning in general, but these printers support network scanning.The printer turns on and prints the first page in a matter of seconds...I have actually printed a test page from one room, walked thirty feet, and assumed that the test page did not print. In reality, the test page *had* printed and the printer had spooled down in the amount of time it took me to walk down a short hallway.I do not currently use the PC/fax feature of these printers, but it looks pretty straightforward.Michael Van HoesenTucson, Arizona

Note added October 15, 2008: Amazon still won't let me change my rating, which now would be 1 star (the lowest) based on horrendous quality control. I bought two of these and both had hardware failures within a year or two, of course outside of warranty. The one I bought for my daughter had its network card fail. She can still use it via USB, but not over the network. The one I bought for myself recently failed to scan, fax or copy when using the document feeder, which uses a separate sensing window from flatbed copying and scanning. As a flatbed copier or scanner, it still works. But when using the document feeder, the copies or scans come out blank. And, yes, I've put the paper in the right side up. I suspect that there's a separate sensor or light for that window and it's broken. On top of the horrible QC this seems to imply, my email to HP took them eight days to answer and then all they said was "this case is a hardware issue so our recommendation for you is to call 800-HP-INVENT (800-474-6836) so you can talk with a Hardware technical agent that can guide you through some trouble shooting steps to determine the cause of this problem and also give you the best solution." OK, I call and after over a significant wait time, I learn that they can help trouble shoot by phone for a fee, offer me a trade-in on a new model, or repair this one. No way am I going to waste more money on this disaster. While maybe I've just had a bad run of luck, this does not appear to be the HP I used to know, where quality was top notch.Note added March 19 2007: Amazon won't let me change my rating from 4 to 3 stars, but I would do so if I could due to networking problems that resurfaced. I suspect that this is an issue with networked printers in general, not HP, but the time it took to solve the problem makes me wonder whether I would have bought this printer if I knew then what I know now. When the network access works, it's great, but if your network undergoes a change (I had to replace a Linksys router that went bad), be prepared to do some work. It took me several hours to get things working again. Before I had this problem, I bought one of these as a gift for my adult daughter, living in another state. She had to get the "geek squad" in to solve her similar problems, at a cost of roughly $200. The problem seems to be changes in the IP addresses in the network, and the manual didn't make it easy to figure out how to even find out the IP address that the printer currently is using. (Hint: Print a Configuration Report from the printer's front panel, using the menu. The manual does tell you how to do that, and the IP address is part of that report.) Once you have the IP address, I think getting the printer back up would be a lot easier -- but I'm not about to bring it down and find out! Hoping this helps.I have several Macs and one Windows machine and had been using two separate printers for the two "tribes." I also had a fax machine, an old flat bed scanner, and a copier -- all taking lots of real estate. When the Samsung ML1430 that I was using on an Airport Extreme USB printer sharing system broke after three years, I decided to go with a networked printer that could be shared between the Macs and the PC. I wanted a major printer brand, and HP was at the top of that list. Why? Because Samsung had stopped supporting the Mac and, as I upgraded my OS, I had had difficulties keeping the printer working. The old driver didn't work with some OS upgrades. I hoped that a networked printer would make sharing among the Macs and the PC easy -- and to a large extent it has.I did have minor problems getting the printer to work with the PC since I had to turn off all firewalls during the installation and Dell had two. After about an hour of on-line research and fiddling, I got it to work. Getting the Macs to recognize the printer was a snap -- sorry Redmond, Apple's ads seem on target here, though part of the problem may have been with Dell putting two firewalls on the PC.After the initial hassle with the PC, which has nothing to do with the 3055 per se, I am very happy with all functions -- with one minor caveat below. As a printer or copier, it's fast (almost 20 pages a minute and less than 10 seconds to first page). The automatic document feeder has worked flawlessly so far -- often the Achilles heel in my experience. Some other reviews (elsewhere, not here at Amazon) noted that half-tone copies weren't the greatest and I'd agree. The pictures come out a bit dark.Some of those reviews noted that changing the default setting from text to picture (or whatever HP calls it) helps, but I haven't tried that yet which is a sign that it's not a huge problem.I haven't used the scanner much yet, but did a few test scans which looked good. On color photos, the 300 dpi scan was poor, but setting it to 600 dpi did a nice job. The level of JPEG encoding changed from 300 to 600 dpi, with the 600 dpi scan being a much larger file, so it's not clear

I've always been satisfied with HP products, and i would give this machine 5 stars across all the criteria except that the scanning function has repeatedly stopped working: the "scanner cannot be found" when i try to scan wirelessly/across my network (only this machine and my computer). In addition, it won't even scan when using the scan button on the dashboard of the machine itself.HP customer service spent quite some time with me even tho the machine was out of warranty, but after uninstalling EVERYTHING and reinstalling, with the tech on the line, a few days later the scanning function stopped working again.I was told by a friend who owns and runs a networking company that TWAIN is best used wired, but that is not what i bought the machine for.other than that one issue -- which is 25% of the purpose of the machine -- i am very satisfied with this machine.

The printer is great. HP Support is not.Beware that they have issued a statement that they will not support this printer with Windows 7.While you can get the printer to work in Windows 7, the scanner will not be available or supported.So, what was a great multifunction printer turns into a boat anchor.HP seems more intereted in getting you to purchase new product thatn supporting their existing products.

I've had three HP multifunction machines. Thinking that HP improved their products, I have purchased two 3055 multifunction systems as an "upgrade" in the past three years. The first one failed after two years; the printing function went down. This third system, and my last, quit faxing a few days ago after less than one year since purchase. A loud noise comes on when the fax button is pushed and although it dials the fax number, it is never connects and the fax fails. I've had the same problem with tech support as previous reviewers. They are friendly and try to help but the problem is never fixed. I will now purchase a cheap fax and a reliable laser printer (not HP).
