Charger didn’t work.
Charger didn’t work. Now I have to buy another and go without the charger for longer. Very inconvenient! They should be testing these before they mail them out.

I wanted it love it.
Used it for one week. It never left my desk. It did not come in the OEM box which is ok. There was a note stating the seal was broken so they could do hardware updates to the computer but it was in fact new. I was skeptical but it looked like it was in mint condition so I figured what the heck I’ll give it a shot. My gut now says these guys are selling refurbished, or returned products as new.
But nonetheless, it won’t turn on. I have to remove my data before sending it back which I’m not yet sure how I will handle that. It could be a good machine and I may have just gotten a lemon.
However, I’ve been through many computers over the years and this is a first.
Based on the out of box experience and it appearing to be refurbished or poorly upgraded I have to leave this review. If it wasn’t a computer for over $1,000 I wouldn't go through the trouble of writing this, but I feel somewhat obligated to in hopes that someone else does not make the same mistake I did. I do understand this could be a result of a bad power cable, or something else. However I can’t risk the return window closing and me being out the $$$. I’ll follow up on this review after I go through the return process to see how it gets handled.

Good Laptop but some issues
I bought a few of these laptops because of the good specs that they have. One was perfect and the other had issues right out of the box. As the description said, the seal was broken but I am not sure for what upgrade. Turning the laptop on for the first time everything looked a little strange. Mostly normal but some strange characters here and there. The Windows 10 circle was not clear either. Getting to the point...I installed Chrome because I was having visual issues with IE and Edge. Chrome would open up black and you couldn't read anything. I was about to return it but after some researching online, I found updated drivers on HP's website for the BIOS and Video card. HP will not let you upgrade through Intel's drivers. This fixed my graphics issue. I took 2 stars away because I don't know if it left HP like that or the company did something to cause it. I did notice that ALL of the HP bloatware was missing so they must have modified the OS.
i would purchase this again but be on the lookout for these issues and how to resolve it as I think it is not an HP issue directly.
