Hoya makes the most neutral Polarizer filters.
I had B+W filter before but it was giving me too warm colors, this Hoya is perfectly neutral.

Good filter, but . . . .
This filter functions very well as a circular polarizer. It does seem to allow a bit less light into the camera than claimed, but the quality of photos is still excellent.
There are two significant weaknesses with this filter:
1) the edges you must hold to tighten the filter on the lens are very small, and it is very difficult to get the lens on tight enough so that it does not easily screw off your lens.
2) the multi-coating on the front of the filter is not the best quality. Mine scratched using a lens cloth ON THE FIRST TIME! Very minor damage to the coating, but certainly not what I expected--at this price!
Also, the standard Canon lens cap barely catches a thread, so I would recommend an over-the-edge cap, avaialble through Hoya.
Again, a good filter, but . . . .

Excellent build and performance for the Sony SEL 10-18mm wide-angle lens
I typically use B+W filters but needed an ultra thin, low profile alternative for my Sony SEL 10-18mm wide-angle lens. Standard size filters can cause vignetting on a lens with this wide-angle range and the ultra thin B+W CPL alternative required it's own slip-on cap. I'm able to use the Hoya Pro1 Digital MC PL-C filter with excellent results and still able to use the original Sony lens cap. I have been very satisfied with the build and performance of this filter for the landscape work I've done and would not hesitate to purchase another one.

A very nice product. I've never used this kind of filter before, but I would like to add some comments on the use of it. The first thing I noticed was that it really added some darkness when looking through it. When I shot in the day, I noticed it only a little, except that it shot an f-stop higher, and it was commonly shooting 400 instead of 100 or 200 with it one. With all that, it shoots crystal clear, and let me get some remarkable water shots, since it lets you take the glare off and you can see to the bottom of creeks and small rivers. My snag came when I started to shoot in the evening with it, it really made it hard to see the objects. I was shooting an elk, and the animal was not clear enough to see with it on. I also wish there was a measurement on it to figure out how to repeatedly get the same shade of blue on each shot. If you don't mark the outside of the filter you won't be able to duplicate the shots. I probably was shooting a little bit outside of what it was intended for. I think if you are shooting in bright light, it's a great filter. It made for some amazing shots. I now wish I had a variety of sizes so I could put this with all my lenses.

This is a must-have for my needs: landscape photography. It fits the bill at a nice price. The only problem I have had with this is on my end. When screwing it on, it's easy to go too far and have the lens threads lock-up, making it hard (impossible) to unscrew. That's no fun in the field and I've read where this is not uncommon. My advice is that you order a filter wrench at the same time you order this.

If your a photographer I highly recommend this CP filter!
This CP filter is great. It really cuts down glare and haze during daytime photo shots. The details of the skys are deep and in great detail. I recommend this to anyone who is a photographer and shots landscapes or on bright sunny days. Also the packing is very secure. The plastic case does have padding on inside to protect the filter from damage. Great product and transaction. Hoya makes high quality filters!

Probably spent too much, I can't tell you a cheaper or non-coated filter would not do the job, but I have been using Hoya multi-coated filters for decades, and they have never disappointed. Also, nice and thin for a wide-angle lens.

Great filter, but buy a filter wrench.
Its a polarizer. It does what its supposed to do with no degradation in image quality. The filter is a little thin and I would highly suggest purchasing a filter wrench with this filter if you ever want to get it off of the lens ever again.

Hoya 62mms Circular Polarizing Multi-coated Glass Filter.
I personally really like Hoya filters. These are not your ten dollar filters, these are mid-range, quality filters that actually do what's expected. If you're a serious photographer than you know you have to invest in quality products to achieve the results you want.

Easy to see the results...
Ok, I have not used it alot, but what I am seeing, I really like. Makes our bright white clouds pop in our gorgeous deep blue skies. I want to see how it works in water.

Top Quality at a top price.
Really nice stuff and the Made in Japan marking gives me a warm feelie. The thin rim is nice at wide angle. The rotation is somehow well damped, by which I mean it won't drift. I had to paint a small white dot on the front to index the position inside the lens hood. Really quite good at filtering out the incident reflections from leaves and grass regardless of whether at 90 degrees from the sun. Expensive but probably not over-priced.

Product is as advertised.
Brass fitting. High quality. Adjustable polarization. I use on my Fujifilm 56 mm f/1.2 lens. It fits perfectly. It reduces the light slightly but it is barely noticeable due to the wide aperture of the lens and the camera continues to take excellent pictures indoors and at nights.

Great design and high quality optic
I was so happy with the circular polarizer that I gave away my canon circular polarizer, to a new friend. The canon circular polarizer was also a new one, multicoated, unlike the nikon circular polarizer I own for years. The nikon circular polarizer I own is heavy, 62mm with a 72mm front thread. I do spend a lot for polarizing filters, consider I am not professional photographer. This one, the hoya 62mm DMC Pro I is the best I have. Very happy with the purchase, highly recommandable.

This product is the right price, but I have several complaints. The degree of polarization seems very slight compared to other polarizers I have used. Also the focusing ring is very narrow, so it is hard to rotate easily.....

Haven't used the lens for shooting yet, so I can't review on how well it takes pictures. But regarding the fit, I have a Nikkor 55mm lens and it's a bit loose. I might have to return it if it keeps falling off my camera lens.

Hoya 62 mm circular polarizer
Hoya 62mm circular polarizing filter arrived in time manner and fit exactly on my Nikon 105mm macro lens. It seems to be easy to use and performs as supposed to. I use a rubber lens shade (also 62mm) in order to be able to turn the polarizer for best effect. Very happy with service and performance.

Definitely worth buying
It’s a great filter if you need a polarizing filter every once in a while. But the build quality is not the same (obviously) as the higher priced German filters. Still good to have in every photo bag.

Broke on lens.
Broke on lens for no apparent reason. Didn’t seem to make much difference to picture lighting before it broke. I wonder if it was genuine part.
