Fits clockwise thread
I purchased to replace the broken one on my Sharp portable air conditioner that has clockwise threads. It fits perfectly and seems as well or better made than the original exhaust hose. It doesn't radiate excessive heat into the room. I am completely satisfied with my purchase.

Not an exact match for a Sharp air conditioner
The item is described accurately at 5-inch diameter, however, it's debatable if it's usable on a Sharp. It's insertable into the adapters of my Sharp portable air conditioner ( model CV-10MH ), but, it's not an exact match. It's diameter is smaller and therefore would most likely come out unless it was taped at the connection. The measurements are as follows: OEM adapters internal diameter is 5 and 4/16th inch. OEM exhaust hose is 5 and 3/16th inch diameter. This exhaust hose diameter is as stated at 5 inch.

Quality!
so happy to have received this exhaust tubing. fits perfectly. has the wire spiraling inside with the fold sections.
DOESN'T SMELL at all....thank God and everyone else involved in this production and transaction. yeah, 40$ is a lot to spend when i am not even sure my ac will last...but i take good care of it. i tried repairing the old tube, which is brittle on both ends due to heat. to anyone thinking about salvaging one by taping, learn from my mistakes. i first thought gorilla tape would work but no, the heat is too much, and it oozes apart. then i tried HVAC metal tape. perhaps that would have worked if i had not applied it over the leftover glue residue of the gorilla tape. but if it is to work, i think you would need to also apply the tape lengthwise to assure it holding together. even if that would work, it would be intolerable because of the adhesive fumes released with the ac heat. gorilla tape was bad and the metal tape was a high frequency thin scary chemical smell, very sophisticated with visions of clear glass lab beakers.

Perfect fit. Clockwise is hard to find
Clockwise hoses are hard to find. This one is a little longer than standard which may help some people. Appears to be well made. My first hose lasted me 9 years—I hope to get that much out of the second. Easy to install and fit perfectly.

Great deal
Had a floor model AC given to me. The intake/outtake hoses were rotted, and the OE tubes were around 50 a piece. (X2)
These fit perfect, and was long enough to replace both hoses for a fifth of the cost. Just have to check if you need clockwise or counter clockwise .

Exactly 5" O.D., 4.75 I.D. - Clockwise Rotation
Slightly small for my Sharp CV-P10PC Portable A/C. My original vent hose was 5.25" O.D. but this was the only clockwise spiral vent tube I could find. With a little foam strip in the receiving end of the coupler it should work nicely.

EASY TO INSTALL
I purchased this for my Air Conditioner to make the tube longer so it extended into the next room. Ordering was kind of confusing because it is based on the tube going on clock wise or counter clock wise. I first thought it was how the connector is taken on or off the back of the unit, but it is referring to how the tube gets put on the connector. Once I got the correct tube it went on easily and worked great.

Much better than factory.
Its pretty hard to screw up an AC hose and yet I saw SOO many that did. This one installed readily, extended well, and seemed to be made of a more pliable form of plastic that the original. It did the job and I am using a 10,000 BTU mobile unit again...all for just a few bucks. Consider them a good way to extend your use of you AC.

Lifesaver
The length of this hose makes all the difference. My other hose cracked and was old and suffered from overuse over the years. During this heatwave I needed to use the portable AC and this replacement hose has been an absolute lifesaver. A very snug fit and fit my model perfectly,

Eh? It didn’t fit
It just kept falling off. The tabs that secure it really didn’t hold and we had to use flex tape to make it stay. It would slowly slide out of place and then you would have hot air blowing inside VS outside like you want with an AC.

does the job
fits the delonghi ac units. made the office livable in this h*ll/heck of ccp virus isolation. not too much leakage it seems, so long as you screw the hose all the way into the coupling; test it out before you buy the putty to go along with it.

High Quality Exhaust for Air Conditioner.
Good solid flexible exhaust duct. Much better than the one I got from the manufacturer of my portable AC (Soleus) which used skinny flimsy plastic and lasted less than a year. Easy to install. Be sure to order the correct duct rotation (counterclockwise v. clockwise depending upon manufacturer). Go on the web for instructions.

Fits the Sharp AC unit.
The plastic on the Sharp exhaust hose was decomposing and began to tear along the wire coiled spine. Although a different color, this hose fit the Sharp in room AC unit (correct diameter and threading). Time will tell how this plastic holds up.

Works perfectly, but isn't as high-quality as original hoses
These are great for the price--I think I saw the ones from Whynter costing twice as much as these. Keep in mind, however, that they are made of a thinner plastic and I believe thinner-gauge wire than the original hoses, so they're not going to last as long as the originals did.

IT WORKED
The product arrived in a timely manner and was competitively priced. The plastic appeared to be durable and it threaded easily onto the unit. Once the AC unit was running it performed as expected.

Lasts a very short time
This installed easily but anytime I wanted to move the ac unit slightly, the hose ripped and had to be taped. Thin hose rips easily- actually seemed to rip if you looked at it wrong.

Perfect replacement for a 5" hose. I was skeptical at first as this hose is not as thick as the original, however it's holding up well so far. I do like the additional length..

It fits Honeywell A/C well
The product is awesome!! I received it yesterday and immediately installed it. Clockwise turn to intalll on both adapters. Love the length of it. Fits my Honeywell MN12CES a/c unit!

Great hose for our Unit
We bought this hose to replace our worn out one we had for our Portable Air Conditioner Unit. It fit wonderfully and is quite strong to bend even. No leaks of air and the unit runs like new.

- - Не работает с первого дня-брак платы управления. Гарантийный ремонт не производят уже почти 3 месяца. Мастер диагностики приехал спустя 1.5 месяца. Официальный гарантийный сервис haier корзина обещаниями, что перезвоните...
