Received wrong flush button
Hi, I received the toilet and we are now installing. However, the flush button supplied is a vertical button when the cistern should have a horizontal button. Please can you supply the correct button?

Missing flush plate
I have purchased the product on 4 October and it was delivered next day, but unfortunately there was a part missing - chrome flush plate. I have wrote an email to the seller but unfortunately I haven't heard back. I'm really disappointed. I am in the middle of bathroom renovation and missing parts from orders like this is the worst nightmare..

Quality OEM Part
I ordered this ceramic cartridge to stop the drip on my 12 year old GROHE 20086 Atrio basin pillar/tap (faucet). The faucet is a legacy/discontinued/obsolete product and it was difficult to find information on the internet. I finally did find information in a specification sheet from GROHE, indicating this cartridge 1/2 inch R, 45 882 000 was the correct cartridge. It would seem that Grohe makes this cartridge in two different types, one for a hot water (or hot water side) and another for cold water. This one was in fact for the hot water which is what I needed. It turns out that in my case the handle of my faucet just pulls or taps off as there are no fasteners of any kind to hold it on. I did remember to turn off the water supply under the sink. Once the handle was off there was a straight slot screw to remove along with a white plastic gear. Once they were out of the way I could see the old leaky cartridge; it took a 17 mm socket and wrench to remove the old cartridge. The new cartridge was identical and I began by threading it by hand and then tightened it with the socket wrench. I did use a flashlight to assure there was no debris and cleaned up the filmy accumulations of soils. Once it was all put back together and the water supply turned back on, there was no longer any drip. This faucet is one where it only takes 1/4 turn of the handle to turn the water off and on. The new cartridge box indicates it is made in Germany which is where Grohe fixtures are made. If this one lasts for 12 years like the first one, I'll be happy. The pic is of my Grohe faucet; your faucet may have a different handle, finish or even be from a different Grohe line. I paid $24.99 for this cartridge on Amazon which was far and away the best deal I could find.

Works great for stopping hot-water drip
Does exactly what it's supposed to do... easy to install once you figure out the trick (I had to put a chunk of 2x4 to block movement of the fitting below the countertop when loosening/tightening the cartridge from the top). The box and product are *marked* made in Germany, but that's no guarantee these day. Either way, the price was right and it works great.
Note: this part number shuts off the water when you rotate it clockwise, which is great for a hot-water handle but incorrect for a cold-water handle.

Fit Perfect For Hot Water Grohe Valve.....BUT...Installation Could Be Difficult
Description was accurate for being for Hot Water Valve in my case Grohe Talia Model. The Fit was Perfect......But my cartridge being 18 years old had to remove Valve from sink to change. When trying to change it would not break free.. and was frozen even though brass to brass. I had to take to work bench and heat with torch for about 20 seconds and then it broke Free. Waited for valve to cool down and installed cartridge.. So for a job that should have been a half an hour took me 2 hours and I have some plumbing experience. So if you can't change at Sink be prepared and remove valve from sink and squeezing under Vanity.

Exact Replacement, Easy to Replace
Exact replacement and easy to replace. Excellent design by Grohe. Good value at $19/ea. The previous version used a different valve system (see photo). Once these begin to leak, there is very little one can do to service these. At this price, these are easier to replace. The previous cartridge lasted 10 years of daily bathroom use.

If you are buying these, its too late to tell you to buy a different brand that is easier to find and less expensive.
These are factory OEM and fit and worked fine. Problem was they have a lifetime warranty and my original only lasted 10 years. Didn't have the original receipt so no warranty. Shouldn't have broken in the first place and hard to find at a normal hardware store like other brands. A bit expensive too but at least here they were reasonable and delivered quickly.

WOW A REAL GERMAN PART
I have paid over $60.00 for one hot or cold valve from plumbing distributors for this genuine German made part.
It fit perfectly and is in the real German made box and is the real deal. For such a low price I thought it would be a Chinese knock-off. Needless to say;

Good replacement part, not too thrilled with Grohe...
When we had our house built, I went a little crazy and picked Grohe fixtures for the entire house. I liked the design and thought that they would be top quality. Over time, even these expensive faucets developed leaks. The replacement cartridges proved very expensive (list price is nearly $50!!!) and the real problem is that changing them is rather difficult. Changing this valve, I had to take the sink completely out of the vanity because the cartridge was so corroded into the base of the faucet. Having changed a few of these now, I discovered that this is a common fault on each and way too much work for such a routine task.
If I could go back in time and opt for more conventional faucets, I would do so. Grohe may be cool but it is typical of a lot of German design - overly complex and darn expensive.
If you need a replacement cartridge, make sure you get the right one (right close vs left close) and when you install it, use pipe tape on the thread to make sure that you can easily replace the cartridge years down the road.

Model 45882 Right-closing cartridge turns OFF the water by turning handle CLOCKWISE, and turns water on when turning handle counter-clockwise.

Nice build, works perfectly
I have a clawfoot tub that had a leaky standing shower head. Of course there are no brand imprints anywhere on the faucet hardware so I scoured the web to try and find similar hardware. The best I could guess is that maybe the shower assembly is from Restoration Hardware. To any extent, this cartridge looked the most comparable to what I needed as it relates to the threading and size. Took a gamble and thankfully, it fits like a glove and no more drippy shower head.
The construction feels like solid brass. It's the same as the component that it's replacing so no complaints.

Just as described, genuine Grohe part
This was for a 15-year-old shower installation that had developed a drip. I, at least, did get a Grohe part in Grohe packaging. It was relatively easy to replace - you just need a 17 mm deep socket, and the confidence you're turning it in the correct direction (counterclockwise) to get it out.
Oh, and go ahead and clear out any debris before putting in the new one - at least if you live in an area like ours, with, uh, "mineral-rich" water.

Direct Replacement
Direct replacement for my Grohe bathroom faucets. The task of replacing the cartridge is a pain in the... but no more drip, drip, drip. I’d recommend.

Hot side.
I used this for the talia with 8” wideset bathroom faucet. This is for the HOT side. Difficult to removed the hot cartridge because of expansion after all these years. It took a lot of force. Careful not to damage hoses underneath as handle will spin if you’re not holding on to underside of faucet handle.

Grohe products are nice but doesn't last long
Grohe products are nice but doesn't last long. My delta have no issue for over 15 years and Delta will send you replacement parts. My plumber was right you pay for Grohe at the beginning and at the end

Works perfectly!
This valve is for the hot faucet. It took a little work removing the old (defective) valve that caused the dripping. I first needed to figure out how to remove the cross handle - it had no screw to remove - just required a good firm pull. Then the bottom of the assembly (under the vanity) needed to be secured with a wrench in order to remove the old valve (using another wrench). Once removed and replaced, it works like a charm.

perfect replacement part
The part fit and works like new. Hardest part of the job was removing the handle and then having a helper under the vanity with a wrench to keep the feedthrough from spinning.

Well built
Much better value through Amazon than at our local specialty hardware store which actually manages to charge well above retail. This product works well and our previous one lasted 15 years before it needed replacement. It's solidly built.
