I have never had such pathetic batteries in my life. Used them to power Christmas lights. They ran for 6 hours then stopped. After replacing batteries several times we checked the charge of supposedly new batteries with a battery tester only to find they were all only half charged at best. Frankly this product is a con. Do yourself a favour and buy something else. Anything frankly. I won’t be buying these again. Ever.

Overall i'd say great buy for remotes, but invest a bit more for any high power devices.

The answer is no unfortunately not but if you have things like remote controls for your TV etc that you don't use that often then these are ideal.
I would not say that the battery life is terrible as that is not the case they just do not last as long and I am sorry but I cannot provide scientific statistics to back this up, however I do know that using them in devices you use every day they do deplete quicker than the well-known brands.
If your children have toys and they keep forgetting to switch them off then these are so cheap but highly acceptable it makes them good value for money.
I would buy these again.

The scanning cat flap eats batteries and won't run on rechargeable. Other brands last 8-10 days, these barely last 6 days. Website gives a good spec but these are noticeably worse than 3 year old Phillips AA or Duracell Industrial.
Won't be buying again.

I actually find they last quite a while, possibly not as long as the more expensive brands, however personally I think they have a good life to them.
Use them in my children's toys.
Also in my battery Christmas decorations, had one on the go for a week, the lights are dimming, but the motor is still working spinning Santa around.
Save yourself some pounds and buy these batteries you will be pleasantly surprised!

Now that recycling systems are in place to recover the materials from redundant batteries, I am happy to use these disposable items as being reasonably cost effective.

Just stick to duracel or something just as good these are crap!
Wouldnt recommend and wouldnt buy again..

Since Christmas and all those new toys we've been going through batteries for fun.
These seem to have lasted so far- I used some cheap Panasonic in one of my sons Christmas toys and the batteries lasted approx an hour- with these they've been in a week- and with light play are still going strong. Although he hasn't played with the said toy as much as what he did when he first received it.
So far I'm happy with them and I would consider purchasing more in the future.

You do get a good amount of batteries for you money.
I know more expensive batteries could last longer buy if you use these mainly for toys and the kids leave them on, then it’s not much of an issue wasting these compared to batteries 3 times the price.

A portable what?
I know right - portable CD player. In 2018. Still, they're good enough for when I've forgotten to recharge some NiMH batteries and this kids want to listen to a CD.
