good batteries for the price
5 year shelf life on mine. Batteries used in high drain and low drain devices and are lasting as long as to be expected for alkaline. No signs of distortion, leaking or corrosion. If I need more I will probably buy these again as they were the best price per battery at the time, but I still have plenty left in this bumper pack!

No Power to the People
I have brought the AA pack before and they were good for the price, But!. I brought a pack of AA and AAA for the Christmas battery issues, Led lights , Talking Santa's, Candles, Funny looking Reindeer, etc. To give an example of how poor the performance was,,, We had a 18inch Christmas tree in the kitchen with 10 led berries on, not a lot of power needed there. Two AA batteries would only last a week at best having the lights on most nights for 3/5 hrs. I have a small torch I use to find at night, what our puppies leave during the day in the garden. It takes 3AAA that again lasts about a week, fading every day . Hey they don't do that much and annoying when you cant see what you don't want to stand in!!! Not Great. I have read previous reviews and can only think its a hit or miss batch wise, frustrating when you miss, mind at least those funny looking Reindeer sat in darkness.

Good value for money and last well.
I’ve been using these batteries for years and used them mainly in kids toys and remotes, they last well and do the job.
You do get a good amount of batteries for you money.
I know more expensive batteries could last longer buy if you use these mainly for toys and the kids leave them on, then it’s not much of an issue wasting these compared to batteries 3 times the price.

Does The Job
They're a good price. I'm not convinced they lasted as long as some previously purchased bulk batteries e.g. Duracell Industrial. This isn't based on any scientific testing but my kids portable CD player seemed to chew through these.

I know right - portable CD player. In 2018. Still, they're good enough for when I've forgotten to recharge some NiMH batteries and this kids want to listen to a CD.

Quality batteries at very competitive price.
I bought these great batteries because I had often found GP batteries supplied with battery powered products I had purchased, ie. smoke alarms etc. and have always been very pleased with their quality. On the assumption also that manufacturers would always supply a quality tried & tested battery with their products I decided to change from my existing brand. I have been extremely pleased with their long life, plus by purchasing in larger quantities it makes them an even better deal. Thankyou Batteries 247

My first choice for non-rechargeable
I've been buying these batteries for a number of years now, and I have been very pleased with them, I have a lot of devices that use AA batteries, my wife buys cheap ones but I prefer these as they seem to last longer and they have never leaked, this is my personal choice of AA batteries.

Powers up but no body’s home
Won’t be rushing back in a hurry to buy these again wether I have just had a dodgy batch or not didn’t last that long in the kids toy cars have been using industrial Duracell’s and been much better then these

Great batteries
I’m really pleased with these batteries. They have a good life and maintain their power right to the end. I use these a lot for the string Christmas battery lights. I find that using the lights every evening that I only need change the batteries once over the festive season they last that well. They’re good in other things though, remote controls, air fresheners etc. Excellent value.

Perfect
My house like most others who have kids in it need these. If it's not toys its game controller, remote controls, clocks and so on. The packs are well worth the price and they have a long life span which is brilliant to. I have now bought quite a few packs and will not buy from anywhere else. Delivery was fast and I also like the fact they come in a convenient storage box. No more trying to figure out which ones are dead and you can take out just the right amount you need.

Great quality. I won’t buy any others now
This is the 2nd time I’ve purchased these. I really like them. Such good value for money. I have 3 children and a husband... my sons fly through batteries on their Xbox controllers so these are needed! They last a long time, power wise. I don’t think I will but other batteries again now. I expected them to be poundshop quality but they are not!

Excellent!
These batteries last for ages!!!! I purposely left our outside battery powered Christmas lights on day and night for a few days, to see how long the batteries would last for each time. It was quite a lot of lights to power, but these batteries lasted 24/7 for at least 3 days! I was very pleasantly surprised! Will be ordering again very soon, thank you.

Very good value for an essential Christmas item
Every year I buy in a good quantity of batteries as there is nothing worse than opening a gift on Christmas day to find it needs batteries you do not have. These are an excellent price for the quantity and I have already used them for a glade air freshener and a couple of other things and they seem to be as good as any you can buy.

Too much packaging
Why is there so much packaging?! Strangely, I’m opening my batteries while a program about plastic pollution is on the TV in the background but these are wrapped plastic in rows of eight, then placed in a plastic box, then wrapped in a piece of cardboard and the whole thing is wrapped again in a thick plastic wrapper!!! The box alone would be strong enough, I’d have thought. 😕

Absolutely awful batteries
Utterly useless, every single bulk pack of batteries I buy from Amazon last no time at all and often aren’t even full voltage when first used. For example my blind takes 8, it hasn’t worked properly for weeks so I e changed the batteries twice. Today I test the output form 8 batteries is 9.7 volts, should be at least 10.4 or higher. New batteries from the newsagent and it works fine. That’s these ones, the value ones, the Duracell, I think sellers are dumping their end of life batteries on amazon. Never buying again.

Batteries which fail to work after a couple of uses
Good strong packaging but not bulky, these batteries seem to last very well and I would not have any hesitation in recommending them and I will purchase more, particularly as Christmas is coming up and there is nothing worse than giving somebody something which they cannot use because nobody thought to add a battery in with their gift.

Alot of batteries for the price but they are useless don't last long at all .tried them in different things kids toys ...Christmas garland .my son's little car which takes one battery normally last about 3 months which plays with every day .this battery ain't even lasted 5 days.

We have been buying this brand of batteries for a while now and always hold a stock in our "battery draw" for all the toys and devices that need batteries these days. We have never had a dud battery and they seem to last just as long, if not longer than much more expensive range of batteries.

Have been pleasantly surprised by how good these batteries are.
They arrive in a self-contained transport package, which doubles up as a nice spares holder to keep them altogether until you need them.
Havent yet used up the first half dozen (at present in two different, older, cameras)
all going OK

battery life is better than cheaper batteries from supermarkets
The life of these batterys is pretty good, but the price makes them excellent value, hence why i will buy them again when i eventually get through these 40. Far superior to poundland and tesco value batteries by a long shot.

Cheap and definitely cheerful.
GP ultra are my favourite “cheap” battery. They are always on a special offer somewhere.
I Use them in a Performing venue for all battery needs and they’ve always been solid and reliable.
Would recommend highly.

Not bad batteries for having around teh hosue
Great batteries to have around the house. This is my second set of these, they didlt last that well in my gaming pad controller but they are lasting really well in my radio Controlled car transmitter and the babies toys.

Light it up
We purchased these to use in a set of LED candles. We have nine candles that required three batteries each and we have had them on more than eight hours a day for the last seven days and none are looking like they are fading. These batteries are brilliant and I would highly recommend.
