Low on energy
Having now used many of these, I am surprised at the high ratings of previous buyers, of whom I based my purchase decision on. These batteries are certainly not Duracell in disguise - not even in the same league.
It is false economy because this product is feeble by comparison: you get what you pay for.

not good at all
I have only used these for my digital camera, some of the batteries only lasted for two or three photos, I bought them on the 6th of April, and went through the entire box of forty by May 26th, utter rubbsh
Rubbish
I put the first two batteries out of the pack into the automatic feeder for my aquarium. I returned 10 days later to find hardly any of the food had been used. The batteries are completely flat. Luckily all my fish appear to have survived
Quantity without the quality
.. if you compare this with a decent battery that should last 3- 6 months in something basic like a kitchen clock- these last a few weeks. Dont bother. All of the batteries in the pack have been consistently poor.
Second rate batteries
Disappointing. I have always bought Duracell batteries but these had such good ratings I thought I’d try them. Wish I hadn’t because they did not last anywhere near as long as the Duracell batteries. Some of my fairy lights failed the first day they were used and all the others have required a change of batteries during the Christmas holiday. I have never had to have more than one set with Duracell.
Mixed results...
I have mixed feelings about these batteries.
In 3 light up cushions which have approximately 8 led's per cushion they have lasted extremely well, better than any other battery I have tried including the most expensive money can buy, two weeks and counting so far with over 8 hours of use per night, impressive!
In a set of battery operated led's with about 30 lights on a string barely 2 nights. This is probably no fault of the batteries as these particular lights have burned through every set I've put in them again including the most expensive brands.
In an Asda battery powered unicorn bell jar light perhaps a week of use again averaging 8+ hours per evening.
I would more than likely repurchase purely for the light up cushions as it just makes good financial sense, for everything else unlikely. My battery needs now have caused me to look into rechargeables as this again from a financial perspective makes sense.
I'm not mathematically minded so I can't break down how much mah each item I amusing these batteries in is drawing versus battery size and such like like other folk are able to. And I don't have any fancy equipment to provide you the readers with dazzling equations. I have simply given the facts based on my usage and hope this has assisted in some small way.

No problems at all.
We have had no problems with these batteries so far and have not noticed any difference to our usual Duracell batteries. Would recommend.
You might get 6 hours, MOST LIKELY LESS though.
Bought these on reviews...wish I HADNT. PLEASE DONT EXPECT THESE TO POWER YOUR CHILDRENS CHRISTMAS TOYS, They wouldnt last 6 hours powering a small set of string lights., so pleased I have TIME to purchase MORE reliable Duracell/Phillips etc for my Grandchildrens Christmas presents- how upsetting if I hadnt tried these first!
Installed 2 for a simple set of string lights, they didnt last 6 hours! Have used 12 batteries over 2 days!!
Waste of money ,they arent what others make them out to be. DONT BELIEVE the reviews I wish I hadnt, they're certainly NOT long lasting in my experience, at this rate a pack of 40 might just last until NEXT WEEK on a single string light.......back to duracell I think.
UTTER RUBBISH, AND A WASTE OF MONEY.DONT DISAPPOINT YOUR CHILDREN Christmas Day, pay a BIT extra for trustworthy brands.
Very false economy.

Not high power at all!!!
These fell far below the standard capacity that similar batteries pro vide therefore a 1 star is all they are worth.
They were quickly returned, they may be ok to use in a clock or remote however for any device that requires a lot of power these are deffinetly not for you.

DO NOT BUY THESE BATTERIES
DO NOT BUY THESE BATTERIES!!!
I have never had such pathetic batteries in my life. Used them to power Christmas lights. They ran for 6 hours then stopped. After replacing batteries several times we checked the charge of supposedly new batteries with a battery tester only to find they were all only half charged at best. Frankly this product is a con. Do yourself a favour and buy something else. Anything frankly. I won’t be buying these again. Ever.

Good value, good Quality
My second pack of these, purchased a box last year and have finally run out but so pleased with the quality and life ofthe batteries that I I bought more . 4 sealed sleeves of 10 batteries enclosed in a thin plastic storage box. I find the box incredibly useful as am always putting part open packets of batteries in a drawer, only to find that one has inevitably fallen/rolled out since I last needed a battery. Not so with these. I've not noticed any significant difference in life between these and branded products such as Duracell and there were zero leakers in my last pack which I had for nearly a year
good
So I did an experiment I put the batteries are usually used in one set of lights and these in another set of lights. I wouldn't say they were any better than Duracell but they are the same at a lot cheaper price so I would recommend
Good price but only average performance.
The batteries are a great price but the performance is just average. These would be great for remote controls and other low power devices, but using them for my nephews battery powered remote controlled car it burned through them very quickly, I also used them on my mountain GPS and they didn't last the day before needing changed but to be fair it was -5 on the hills and the temperature does affect battery performance.
Overall i'd say great buy for remotes, but invest a bit more for any high power devices.

Good value for money
Okay, these are very cheap for the quantity so that is great, do they last as long as some of the more well-known brands?
The answer is no unfortunately not but if you have things like remote controls for your TV etc that you don't use that often then these are ideal.
I would not say that the battery life is terrible as that is not the case they just do not last as long and I am sorry but I cannot provide scientific statistics to back this up, however I do know that using them in devices you use every day they do deplete quicker than the well-known brands.
If your children have toys and they keep forgetting to switch them off then these are so cheap but highly acceptable it makes them good value for money.
I would buy these again.

Cheap but don't perform as well as other batterys
These seem to go flat much quicker than other batteries and they all have a very recent manufacture date.
The scanning cat flap eats batteries and won't run on rechargeable. Other brands last 8-10 days, these barely last 6 days. Website gives a good spec but these are noticeably worse than 3 year old Phillips AA or Duracell Industrial.
Won't be buying again.

Long lasting batteries
Great batteries for the price. Lasts as long as branded batteries. Great for wii etc
The best price/performance AAs around
I only buy GP batteries after having the more expensive Duracell brand batteries leak and cause damage to equipment. When I complained to Duracell their spokesman said that their batteries were designed to leak! Unbelievable! These GP batteries are good value for money and have never let me down. To be fair Gillette (who own Duracell) did pay to get my expensive Canon image stabilsed binoculars repaired after the Duracell's wrecked them. But that's not the point. I only buy GP now to be safe.
Great product, great price
I am so glad I have purchased these in both AA and AAA
I actually find they last quite a while, possibly not as long as the more expensive brands, however personally I think they have a good life to them.
Use them in my children's toys.
Also in my battery Christmas decorations, had one on the go for a week, the lights are dimming, but the motor is still working spinning Santa around.
Save yourself some pounds and buy these batteries you will be pleasantly surprised!

Even better value for money than the 40 pack!
Good value for money and are as good in use as the supermarket brands. As many devices advise against using longlife batteries that work right up to the end and then run out almost instantly, on the basis that when the 'normal' ones start to run down, there is an alarm system activated to warn of impendnig failure (smoke alarms & CO2 alarms spring to mind), which could be from 7 to 30 days from activiaion of the alarm. I have also used rechargeable batteries for a long time but found that after only a few recharges, they start to lose their charge quite quickly.
Now that recycling systems are in place to recover the materials from redundant batteries, I am happy to use these disposable items as being reasonably cost effective.

Dont last long at all!
These are probably the WORST batteries ive ever bought. Thought id give them a go seeing as you get 40 for £10. Waste of money, they last 5 seconds so im having to constantly change them.
Just stick to duracel or something just as good these are crap!
Wouldnt recommend and wouldnt buy again..

You can literally use these for anything which takes AA batteries
You can literally use these for anything which takes AA batteries I.e. TV Remote, Kids Toys, Clocks, Torches, Walkmans, Pagers, Weather Station Units, Remote Thermostats and a variety of novelty items like Musical LED Snow Globes and Singing Fish. They work very well and are quite comparable with other alkaline battery brands I would suggest they’re the best value for money. Note though - sadly these cannot be used in Shoes, Cats, Door Stops, Curtains, Wooden Spoons or Letterboxes (amongst other things).
5*
Bought on a prime daily deal so it was pretty cheap for a pack of 40 batteries!
Since Christmas and all those new toys we've been going through batteries for fun.
These seem to have lasted so far- I used some cheap Panasonic in one of my sons Christmas toys and the batteries lasted approx an hour- with these they've been in a week- and with light play are still going strong. Although he hasn't played with the said toy as much as what he did when he first received it.
So far I'm happy with them and I would consider purchasing more in the future.

Very long lasting and excellent value
These are the longest lasting batteries I've ever used. Used them for fairy lights on bushes for Christmas but they just went on and on, lasted from 12 December until I finally took them down today (18 February). I left them all up to see how long they would last but needed to prune the shrubs so had to take lights down. Previously batteries have lasted 3 -4 weeks. Can't recommend them enough.
Very good
We used these in some Christmas lights and another well know brand in some other lights over the Xmas period, these batteries lasted longer than the well know brand, didn’t changed these once,,changed the others 3 times.Still using these batteries in other items and still have about 8 left so not bad at all...I am considering buying more when the times comes.
