Edit - The device heated up like anything for just half an hour of playing call of duty game. Checked the temperature check apps and it went till 40 degrees and so on. Returned the device and got refund. Beware of issues with pixel 5. It all depends on luck I feel.
I was initially worried that I would get sent a brick, but it's the real deal alright!
And no any response from Amazon
My pixel phone is not usable no any help from Amazon and Google
I request to all don't buy any unofficial product from Amazon because they won't help after purchase of unofficial product

I considered to buy this phone for the following
- Compact size (very important). With new phones constantly growing larger and taller, I wanted a small phone as a everyday runner. I do not play games or do resource intensive tasks.
- a physical fingerprint sensor; not a fan of the optical in screen ones.
- Clean Android without the bloatware and skins.
- Google Support and updates for 3 years
Minor Niggles
- The speaker quality is not great. I do not use the speaker much, but notification tones and movies and music do not sound great as compared to my previous phone.
- The phone does warm up on some apps like Navigation, photo processing, Amazon music etc. and subsequently uses a little more battery.
- No flagship processor (was aware of it), however some tasks do suffer with the low powered processor. For gaming specific usage, please check the reviews online.
- No headphone jack (was aware); Google should have provided the USB-C to 3.5mm adapter in box like One plus would do.
- The cameras are great but the 12MP sensor does show up its limitations when zooming on the camera or post taking pics.
- The earpiece is not as clear as my previous phone and I have had some issues hearing the other party on phone calls (not a major issue and could be device specific).
- 18W charging takes 1.5 hrs to fully top up the phone. Also note the USB-C in box charger will come with a USA plug. Alternatively you can use any other charger which supplies 9v - 2A.
Some things which I like
- The battery life is great. easily lasts a day and a half on my usage of surfing, checking maps, videos, music over bluetooth, Social media etc.
- The phone feels great in hand. The screen is crisp and the live wallpapers are good.
Final Thoughts:
Its a great phone for someone looking for a compact phone, albeit without the headphone socket and a flagship processor. The Asus 8Z comes close for the price but its availability is near non existent. The Asus Zenfone 9 is a great pick; however that will probably be more expensive when released based on the dollar amount. Iphones in this size are expensive and depends on whether you like iOs.
Do note that this will have no warranty when purchased here and there is also a limitation on the accessories like back covers and screen guards.
Камера хорошая и хорошего качества сборки.
это двойная sim-карта с 1 слотом для sim-карты [ 1 физическая sim-карта и 1 Esim ]
It has a good camera agreed but you don't even have the latest flagship chip or premium components.
I don't think I'll ever use any phone other than pixel
Pros -
Superb battery life
Simple and Easy UI
No clutter
Brilliant camera
Light weight
Perfect size for one hand operation
Cons -
Build quality could have been better
Don't think twice before buying this phone.. pair it with the Google buds A series earphones
As we all know, the camera is pretty incredible. However, even after turning off every touch-up/filter feature, the camera automatically softens selfies. I am a No Filter kinda gal and every pic that wasn't in great natural light looks edited, no bueno. I was also extremely underwhelmed by the capability for motion photos. I have a 3yr old that is a busy-body and this camera just couldn't keep up with her. The night feature is pretty neat but I think Flash should still be the default and night mode should be just that, a mode. I HATE that there is no photo gallery, just Google. All of my 2500 photos were reorganized by date and lost all of their folders. Terrible. This was ultimately the grudge that I couldn't let go of. I have learned Pixel makes privacy nearly impossible (yeah, yeah, I know that we don't really have any but Google forces you to link things with your email)
Specs are reasonable, more than I need. I think LG sounds better for audio. I also found the Pixel uncomfortable to hold. It is more box-y and the weight distribution isn't comfortable even though it is a smaller/lighter phone. The G8 just balances in my hand better.
I can knock to turn-off screen but not to turn it back on, which was frustrating after having that feature for the past 2yrs. The overheat feature is great but pretty sensitive. Ex. I can bring LG into sauna for 20min without triggering the overheat warning, Pixel shut down on me after 10 minutes. Battery was pretty good but I only used to browse not game/stream.
This is Not a bad phone. There is a lot on par with Samsung and Apple, a lot to love about this phone. Honestly, I will, cough cough, try Apple first before I try another Pixel though, cough.
I ended up buying renewed G8 and saved $300 returning this one. Hopefully the phone market drops a similar hidden gem before LG stops updating this one.
I have TMobile & took the sim out of my old phone & got it in the pixel 5. Everything booted just fine, everything transferred easily & phone is working as you would expect a new phone would. Battery life is questionable though but may be it will take time for the phone OS to adjust to my usage. Phone size is great! Feels amazing not to have a huge phone in my pocket now, worth it with the smaller screen 👍
I decided to "downgrade" to a Pixel 5 and took a chance buying it off Amazon. One of the earlier reviewers said CrownProducts was a reputable seller through Amazon and I can vouch for that as well.
My phone was marked as new and came in a sealed, though not shrink-wrapped box. I used adb to check the phone's battery cycles to see if it's been used before, which it hasn't. Originally, the OEM unlocking option was greyed out and did not allow me to change it. However, after all the system updates (and maybe a boot in safe mode, I am not sure what exactly did the trick), the option was activated again in Developer Options.
As for the phone itself:
Pros:
- perfect size and weight for me, as a woman with fairly long hands
- performance has been very snappy and responsive
- battery life is great
- camera quality is still great, not really a big downgrade from the Pixel 6
- sage green color is gorgeous
Cons:
- speakers kind of suck and it's very easy to cover them up when you're holding the phone while playing sound
tl;dr: great phone for people who loved the Pixel 3 and smaller phones in general and if you want assurance of a new, OEM unlock-able Pixel 5, buy from the seller, CrownProducts
Cost is somewhat at higher side
I purchased outside Amazon , at OLX at better deal
I tried to go back to Samsung with their new flip phones, etc. But nothing beats a pixel's simplicity, speed, and ease of setup and use.
