When you get the monitor, you're expected to screw in (4) screws to attach the base to the monitor.
These screws were not included. The manual doesn't say what size they are either. Gigabyte CS is terrible by phone. I was on hold for hours and they never picked up nor returned the call, I left a message online with them and they got back to me 5 days later, referring to the bottom bracket screw, instead. This is bad. I was very clear about what I said and they just pushed back, referring to another screw which is literally attached to the bottom bracket so there's no way that particular screw would be missing as they would of had to of failed to include the entire bottom bracket from the box. So I can definitely vouch for what others are saying about this companys poor customer service.
Lastly, the internet saved the day. If you buy this monitor and are missing the screws you need to buy size 4 (mm) metric screws. The guy at the hardware store was nice and let me bring a handful out to the car to determine size and length. I know its 4mm (i bought cap heads) but as for the screw length, I'm not sure. I'm thinking they were maybe 1/2" long or close to it.

I'm glad I did because it's the best bang for your buck when it comes to monitors. The picture is beautiful, 165hz is smooth like butter, and the UI is well designed which made everything easy to set.
If you're debating whether or not to purchase this monitor, then you should because you will not be disappointed.

No dead pixels, and two red stuck red pixels were detected. Screen and frame were otherwise unblemished. Once assembled, it is solid with minimal wobble, and takes a decent amount of desk real estate.

I changed the color settings, color vibrancy, Black Level settings, gamma, brightness, contrast and the overdrive feature in order to get the color, level of smoothness when moving the mouse, and overall detail that I want in games. The overdrive feature by default is set to speed which in Red Dead Redemption made a lot of the textures change detail level whenever I was moving my mouse. It was very offputting. I changed the overdrive setting to balanced and it seemed to give very good results when moving my mouse. Turning it to the picture quality setting gave it a look that was more blurry when moving the mouse and seemed to have less detail.
As a side note I enabled HDR and the panel brightness dropped significantly and the colors looked worse in my opinion. But this was just looking at my desktop, so I've left it off for gaming. I still need to test HDR with HD video. All in all I'm glad the feature is there. This monitor punches well above its price point with the features it offers. I highly recommend it!

The screen is very bright, very good for HDR videos and games.
I always thought curved screens were a gimmick, but it does add to the immersion. Wish it curved a bit more.
It ain't IPS, but the image quality is more than good enough.
You get your choice of Hz: 165Hz, 120Hz, or 60Hz to chose from. I'm sure you can use your video card utility to create more Hz profiles, like 144Hz.
Would have been five-stars if it wasn't for the dead pixel.

I have pictures on different colored leathers ranging from black to whites with many colors in between. (All pictures are taken in my studio with professional equipment) I then compare the color of the leather on two other professional monitors, and ensure the leather color in "real life" matches the color on the professional monitors, then I look and fiddle on the gaming monitor to see if I can get a close color to the real leather or the picture. The picture is a raw file (not compressed and untouched).
Keep in mind I have the original leather with me so i can really compare color between the 3 monitors.
This monitor came nowhere close to delivering correct colors. I also tested both dell gaming monitors Dell S3220DGF and DELL S2721DGF, They came much closer, but the dells blues and especially reds were off, and impossible to correct without affecting other colors. Again If you are using this solely as a gaming monitor then you should be happy.
This is the second Gigabyte product I bought this year, Also bought a 2070 Gtx, and it rattles like crazy. I am trying to stay impartial but am struggling. I keep thinking about failure mode and effects analysis, and if one was ever performed for this monitor. Where I come from, there is very little margin for error.

Iβve actually used it for work as well and you forget that itβs curved while using excel.

The 2K resolution is amazing and with 165hz refresh rate the picture quality is perfect. The only issue you'll have with quality is in dark pictures. Darker images seems to make the black image color bleed and look odd but for any other bright images for videos or games looks great. All the ports are being used for my desk setup and everything works great from the display port, both hdmi ports, both USB ports and the audio all work great.
If you're wanting to get the most out of this monitor I would recommend upgrading the GPU & maybe a CPU as well if you haven't already.

Tried all other inputs with cables that worked, nothing. Plugged a spare monitor in to the same HDMI cable and that monitor came right on. Just sent this back, not worth getting another and having the same issues.
