Brilliant what i been looking for
Little diamond best indoor tap adapter I've ever used works brilliantly just a little harder to install the instructions are not the best to understand or it might just be me. But use the black spanner and undo the end of the tap(which i didn't know you could do that) then exchange the tap filter for the one in the pack then screw the new adapter in. Sounds hard but it isn't. The lock on is so smooth and spot on.....the only thing i would say to the company that makes these is the Q reader doesn't pick up threw the packaging.

Perfect. Fitted easily no issues and connecting hose to the locking device is really sturdy and easy. Just need to unscrew end adaptor of spout and included picture (3) to show size for connecting

Very disappointing
Firstly there is the accuracy. I don't have another meter to compare it with but did notice that sometimes it just wouldn't measure any flow (even with the tap fully open), and the measurements at low rates varied a lot (I was hoping to use it with a Gardena micro-drip irrigation system). Secondly, it doesn't seem to remember the totals for more than a few days. I don't really understand why not, since that is literally the point of the totals – so you can see cumulative usage. Finally, it developed a leak within the first month (mid-summer, no frost damage) so I sent it back for a refund. All other Gardena products I've used have been very high quality, so this was a disappointment.

FAULTY
Total rubbish. Didn’t work at all. I sent photos plus a video to the seller showing this, and they say they want more information. AVOID! They emailed me saying, "We acknowledge receipt of your request, we are sorry for the inconvenience caused.
However, in order to be able to answer it as well as possible, please provide the following information:
- If the product is damaged, please attach an explicit photo
- If breakdown, please specify the reason for the breakdown.
- A picture of the nameplate (label with the serial number of the unit) located on your unit.

Perfect fit, no leaks
This is a great idea for a hose connector. I had been searching for one of those rubber connectors that are held in place with a jubilee clip when I stumbled on this. My kitchen tap is about 25mm diameter and unscrewing the flow straightener revealed a male thread, but I had no way of determining whether it was the correct BSP thread for this connector, so I just had to take a chance. As soon as it arrived I fitted the new flow straightener using the supplied male-male gender changer ring and I was able to fit the connector in a few seconds - I just hand-tightened it instead of using the supplied wrench, and it worked fine. This worked an absolute treat - I filled the kids paddling pool with warm water then used my pressure washer to wash the path and there wasn't a single drip from the connector despite my very high mains water pressure. Also, if you do intend to use it for a hose quite often you can just leave the new flow straightener attached, it looks just like a regular chrome flow straightener but with grooves for the hose adaptor to attach. Overall I'm very pleased with this connector and I highly recommend it.

good but not as easy as it suggests
First off I'd like to say it's well made and works without any leaks, this is once you finally get it installed, the metal adapter fits no problem on our new kitchen tap. Where I struggled was with the plastic part that then attaches to this.. it took a long time before I could get this to close and lock in place.. so much so that when I finally did get it to lock, I decided to just leave it on the tap.. not sure if it's a bit of a dodgy one I got, of if it's generally this fiddly to get attached.. overall it works so I'm happy and it saved me having to install an outside tap.

Indispensible when using a watering computer/contoller
Leakproof, robust and east to use.
I use an electronic water controller for irrigating a greenhouse (a "Hozelock Aqua Control Water Computer Pro Water Timer " amazon ASIN: B0011NT3QC - which I'm very happy with) and use this to convert my single stopcock to a twin-tap outlet.
I connect my water controller to one outlet and a short length of hose to the other.
The stopcock tap is then left permanently ON and:
1) The connection to the controller is also left permanently ON - so whenever the controller is set to water, it opens its valve and water is released through the irrigation system.
2) The connection with a short lenth of hose attached is normally OFF. I turn on when I want to fill a watering can or bucket or whatever.
Having written that description it now seems complicated but it is actually bery simple and very obvious in prractice.
And finally, I also hang a big red "do not turn off" sign on the stopcock so that none of my 'helpers' is ever tempted to turn it off.

Didn't work
I really thought I'd solved the problem of fixing a hose on my new kitchen taps! I unpacked it and thought finally, as I'd spent ages looking! Sadly, the plastic 'wrench' was not able to turn my tap head, at all. I tried every tap in my house in case it was just my kitchen tap, it didn't manage to turn any. So I've wasted my money. I've torn the packaging as I had every confidence it would work so I can't return it.
I can't remember the last time I wrote a negative review but for this I had no choice as I'm left with something I can't use.

Koi Pond Water Meter
So I brought this to use on my Koi pond so I know how much water I use with top up's but also when I need to change my Chlorine filters and so I know how many ltrs have passed through. I was sceptical that this product would do the trick, but it is spot on. I installed it inline after my auto top up valve so it didn't have water pressure constantly in it, and It works brilliantly. I tried to upload a photo, but it wouldn't upload, but if you wanted it would be easy to pipe this up solidly inline if you wanted as the incoming and outgoing hose connections unscrew and could easily be replaced with other connections. As well as total ltrs (can be converted to gals etc) used it also measures the actual flow rate thought the pipe, which makes it easy to set up pond equipment. Very pleased with it and a good price.

Mess free solution to extend hose reach
I don’t know why I didn’t get this earlier - shuttling back and forth to the front garden with a watering can because the hose isn’t quite long enough is a mug’s game. This little gadget has it sorted. The connection from the standard plastic hose connector works brilliantly. Click it on to the tap adapter and it’s sorted.
I found it a bit fiddly to fit. Dismantle tap (easy) and replace the standard part of your tap with the one in the pack. All good so far. After that I thought the instructions were poor and I’ve definitely got some parts left over! I can’t get the washers to fit but hey who cares it works, it doesn’t leak.....job done.
I’d recommend this to anyone, just don’t beat yourself up if fitting it leaves you with some extra spare parts.

Very convenient connector for indoor taps
First of all word of warning. This is not a universal connector. This is more or less universal for modern taps. I happened to have an old one in the kitchen and the aerator hole was a completely different size. That caused me to buy a new tap and install it and it works. For mine tap, it was a bit difficult to get the aerator out, but it worked in the end. This nice set comes with attachment nozzle for two standard sizes of modern taps. And as I alluded it screws and effectively replaces aerator with extension and new aerator included in this set.
With the plumbing tasks installing this thing took about three minutes. I bought this at a discount, which was a very good price. The quality of the product looks good sturdy and shiny.

Great if you need precise metering
I use this water meter for filling the fresh water tank on my motorhome. The tank is 100 litres but is so easy to overfill as the on-board gauge isn't so accurate. Using this water meter, filling of the tank is so straightforward. It comes with standard hose fittings and I simply fit it onto the campsite tap in a second or two before connecting my hose. I fill to 90 litres and shut off the tap - no more guesswork and no more annoying overflows. Perfect.

Best Water distributor ever.
Gardena product are a little more pricey than many other branded names, but....... they are good. It works first time, everything fits and works twice as well.. I am really impressed with this 4 Channel Water Distributor.
1. Good tight fit - no leaks- first time
2. Two watering computers ( 1 Gardena and one other well known brand) attached fit and works well.
3. No loss of water pressure when using any one of the outlets. Had that with Hozelock

Easy to install
I purchased this tap adapter to use in conjunction with a Karcher jet wash.
It was very easy to install, stays connected and does the job.
Having seen some more pricier alternatives for sale online, for the price, this little accessory is definitely worth it.
I could not have been happier with this purchase.

Control Flow
I like the idea that I can monitor the amount of water I use when watering my garden. This item is perfect in this way, assuming that it is fairly accurate, which I cannot test. Still it gives me a very good idea of the volume used. Unfortunately, as a previous reviewer has pointed it out, the item does leak a little. This does not stop me using it as I save the leaked water in the watering can. I would have given a 5* if it had not leaked. Still worth it.

Much better than Hozelock alternative
I purchased the Hozelock tap adapter months ago, this device slides over the top and using a jubilee clip it is fastened to the tap. I used it a number of times, but it would pop off randomly. The Gardena version actually screws onto the tap replacing the nozzle which is there, to be honest the adapter is nice enough you could even leave it on the tap at all times. I've used this a few times now, and I must say I have far more confidence in it's ability to stay connected than I do for the Hozelock version.

These are essential to know exactly how much water is in your pond.
We inherited an unusual kidney bean shape Pond with the house we purchased. The estimate by the man at the local Koi Centre was way off, he calculated our pond to be 12000 litres. After cleaning the pond and refilling with this water meter fitted on the end of the hose it turns out the pond is just over half the size at 6300 litres!
Now the correct amount of tap water dechlorinator and medicines can be added to the water with confidence that the fish are not going to be harmed.

Good substitute for a garden tap
Our garden tap needed replacing - the flow had slowed to a dribble. But didn't want to get a plumber in during lockdown. We had a similar item that fastened to the tap with a jubilee clip, but that would loosed and spray the kitchen with water at random intervals, so I looked around for a replacement. This is so much easier - you replace the filter/spray/mesh end of the tap with the one included. Then when you need to attach a hose, the plastic part simply locks onto the tap, and the hose clips on to the plastic part. Easy. Best part is you can leave the chrome part in place all the time. No more jubilee clips and worrying about damaging the tap.

Best indoor connector I've used!!
For years I used another connection. Had untold slips and the kitchen getting soaked as the hose slipped off the tap connection. The jubilee clip got tightened and tightened over and over, reducing the tap water pressure so it didn't slide of the tap!.... Until I stumbk d across this on Amazon, it's a synch to install and doesn't affect the water flowing on a day to day basis. The connection is surprisingly stronger than it looks but since installing I can water the garden on full power without filling the kitchen floor with water. You can't go wrong! Order one now 🤦🏾♂️👍🏽

So Easy
Considering i had been struggling to find some that fitted to my Kitchen mixer tape so much so i thought i may have to get a plumber to put and exterior tape on which is no easy fix as it could have to be pulled from the mains directly..
However in desperation i bought this as well as about 4 others and this fitted the female thread straight away, still put PTF plumbers tape on regardless just for complete reassurance.
Very happy with this and can be left all year as it has a filtered head as did the original old one.

- It just fits neatly between the tap and your hosepipe (see photo for the standard fitting that it comes with)
- The big advantage for me is that it has shown me how much water I waste on washing the car and watering plants. I have had it 12 months now, and this little device has really made me reduce my water usage by about 30 - 40%. Purely for environmental concerns it's a winner ; but one day when water metering reaches my neighbourhood, this will undoubtedly have me operating on a lower water budget.

Fine product, best grass clippers I've ever had
Fine product, best grass clippers I've ever had. Will have to admit I cheated nature a bit. I sprayed the blades with "Liquid Film" when I got them. It has been very humid here, and I didn't think the lubricant would hurt the metal blades a bit. I've used them every week to do about an hour's worth of trimming, and they are always ready to work when I am. Usually charge about an hour before using.

Super Reliable Shears
I bought this trimmers for the sole purpose of keeping my boys (Corgi)grave site neat inside and out and for that purpose it's been wonderful, reliable and the blades super sharp. Can't say enough about the Gardena trimmer.

Lightweight Shear in the Good and Bad Sense
The Gardena grass shear weighs next to nothing and hence is extremely easy to move through the grass. But it has several bad "lightweight" features too: If the blades hit any wooden stalk of more than 1/16", the shear stalls. The charger cable has a tiny connector with an important but almost invisible ridge more typical of, say, a camera than a power tool; it is furthermore difficult to insert as it is located underneath the handle. The safety switch on top of the handle constitutes the usual nuisance and is awkward to operate. On my unit at least, the indicator light for the battery state is too dim to be visible in daylight; also it never changes color as it should. Six hours for a full charge is inconveniently long, particularly as the shear is supposed to be disconnected when the charge is complete - can't they built in an automatic shutoff?
The shear is usable despite these shortcomings, but with them, the price is too high.

HORRIBLE! DIED IMMEDIATELY
I seldom write reviews and typically only positive ones. However, I am so disappointed in myself for buying this item. At first, I loved it. It was my new toy. However, I noticed I couldn't charge the battery unless I plugged the power cord for the shear into an extension cord... don't get that one at all... and I first tried every outlet in the house before thinking to try the extension cord. After 2 weeks the whole darn thing just died. The blade stopped working altogether. I looked up the price of a replacement shear and was shocked by the price (and I don't know that replacing the blade would have done the trick anyhow). I decided to write this review now because I bought the Ryobi trimmer and wow, it's amazing! It comes with the batter and two blades (grass trimmer and bush trimmer). I have had zero issues and bought it from Home Depot just in case I have a problem, I know that I can return it or exchange it. Don't waste your money. You will love it out of the box and then hate it 2 weeks to one month later. That's my opinion and horrible experience.

Received my Gardena 8885-U 3 inch cordless lithium shears today. I had a much cheaper model that worked well last year except nw blades were dull. This new one holds its charge for 45 min. or more. It trims so easily and blade is very sharp. I love it and keep looking for things to
trim. I can trim in half of the time I did with the old ones. Plus a 2 year warranty.

Best shears I ever bought and used
I hesitated to buy these $100 shears, but they are well worth it. I was getting disgusted buying the big-box store shears only to have the battery become unchargeable after only a year. I have had THESE shears for 16 months now, and they have passed the test. The battery lasts a long time between charges; there is an indicator light that tells me when they need charging; the ergonomic handle is easy on my hand; the blade lets me get up close to the edging on my grass (other shears have "protective" wings that get in the way); they are not loud; they are not heavy. I did not tell my husband how much I paid for them, but maybe now I will!

First bought a Sun Joe Hedger, for trimming, and sent it back immediately. Seemed like toy...
After again studying reviews, decided it was necessary to spend more for more quality....
Had not bought this brand before, but IT IS WONDERFUL....cuts well, handles well...and, this is v important...you press that irritating safety button (found on all the clippers now days) when you start to clip, then can release and the thing keeps going!!! I am a woman with smaller hands and cannot hold down the safety switch and working button at the same time. Of course this is only until you release the switch and it stops.
Very Pleased and would recommend...my husband is even using it...and that is saying something around here!

Expensive, but mostly works
A bit expensive for what you get, but I used this to trim some longer grass next to our garage and it works well. However, if it meets ANY resistance, the blades immediately stop. I suppose this is a safety feature, but if your area has sticks, make sure to remove them first!

I got it for my wife, she likes it ...
I got it for my wife, she likes it. But after 3 months it has a problem with one of the plastic gears. I cleaned and oiled but still keeps spinning it's gears every so often. The return window and product help window is closed after 3 months. All I can do is try and get some replacement parts.
Update, the stripped gear is not available in the united states. None of the service centers will ship the part to the US. It's unavailable! This cannot be repaired without the part. Dont buy it!

Used it few times during summer, stored for the winter inside the house. This year, couldn`t cut even two feet. Battery doesn't recharge.

Battery cannot be replaced, but shears work well
I purchased these shears in May of 2018, and the battery died in July of 2020. I used them twice a week, Spring through Fall, each of those years, to trim the grass edges of my lawn around my flower beds. Run time was about 30 to 40 minutes per charge. The shears worked well, were comfortable and lightweight, and I preferred the cut they made to the tearing action of a weedeater, so, overall I'm happy.
My only knock on the product is the fact that the battery cannot be replaced, so once it dies, the product has to be discarded. I'm switching to a Makita, with removable and replaceable batteries. I have other Makita tools that the battery can be used on, so that should work well for me.

excellent grass shears
I used my new Gardena grass shears for the first time today. There was enough power in the battery out of the box for about 30 minutes of use [battery went dead]. This was enough time to complete my front and side yards. The blades are very, very sharp. The shears are very powerful. I saved a lot of time in trimming my lawn today. The shears are very comfortable and balanced. Well designed and good looking. I set the shears for recharging. The charging indicator light flashed rapidly. In about four hours I checked to see if they where still charging. The charge was already complete. Since the battery was now fully charged the blade moved side to side even faster. I only wished I had more work to do. Tomorrow I will cut and trim the back yard. I can't wait to get started. With a full charge I believe I will get better than 50 minutes of use before my next charge is needed. I was hesitant to pay so much for grass shears but after seeing them and using and recharging them I am very pleased with my purchase. Very pleased!

Bisher die beste Pumpe
Wir haben die Pumpe dauerhaft in einer 9 m³ Zisterne mit 50 Meter 3/4-Zoll-Schlauch. Die Pumpe habe ich an einen leeren Kanister gebunden, sodass sie immer ein Stückchen unterhalb der Wasseroberfläche "schwebt", aber den schmutzigen Boden fast nie erreicht. Wobei sich der Filter in der Pumpe spielend leicht reinigen lässt. Am anderen Schlauchende ist eine https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B00WU0TOPK/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s02?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Stecker rein und beim Bedienen der Crenova Garten Handbrause macht die Pumpe das, was sie soll: Sie schickt das Wasser auf den Weg, und zwar mit ordentlichem Druck. Alles bestens und kein Vergleich zu den bisherigen Tauchpumpen, die meist nach einem Jahr den Geist aufgegeben haben und bei 20 Metern mitunter nur tröpfelten. Kaufempfehlung für eine solche Anwendung!

Perfekt für die Gartenbewässerung.
Ich habe mir diese Pumpe gekauft um eine Gartenbewässerung realisieren zu können. Heute habe ich den Eimertest gemacht und bin auf diese Werte gekommen.
1 zoll Schlauch an die Pumpe angeschlossen.
Druck/Durchfluss Messgerät auf 3,5bar eingestellt.
Eimer drunter und Stoppuhr gestartet.
Der Eimer war nach 12 Sekunden voll.
10 x 3,6 / 12 = 3 m³ / h
Nun steht der Planung für die Gartenbewässerung nichts mehr im Wege.

Verhalten von Amazon nach Verkauf der defekten Pumpe von Amazon Warehaus
Ich habe kürzlich eine GARDENA Tauch-Druckpumpe 6100/5 inox automatic bei Amazon Warehouse, erworben. Die Pumpe sollte gebraucht sein und einige Gebrauchsspuren haben. Ansonsten darf ich ja wohl davon ausgehen das das Produkt einwandfrei in Ordnung ist. Als ich die Pumpe verbauen wollte stellte ich fest das diese nach ihrem Aussehen schon eine erhebliche Betriebszeit hinter sich hat und dazu noch zwei dazugehörige Teile in der Verpackung fehlten. Davon ausgehend das die Pumpe eventuell ein Grundreparierter Rückläufer und ein rechtzeitiger Probelauf notwendig ist habe ich die Pumpe gestern in meinen Brunnen verbracht. Hier stellte sich dann sehr schnell heraus das der Druckschalter defekt ist. Nach Schließung der Wasserentnahme läuft die Pumpe ca. 1 Minute weiter, stoppt dann wie sie soll springt dann aber sofort wieder an. Das macht sie dreimal hintereinander und hört dann auf zu pumpen. Soweit korrekt. Nur öffnet man dann den Wasserhahn wieder springt die Pumpe nicht mehr an. Dazu muss, wie ich herausfand, aus- und wieder eingeschaltet werden. Dann beginnt das Spiel von vorne. Die Pumpe wurde defekt und unbrauchbar geliefert.
Das ist nicht meine erste negative Erfahrung mit ihrem Amazon Warehouse.
Selbst für einige Euro weniger bin ich nicht bereit für Amazon die Qualitätsprüfungen durchzuführen.
Der Ein- und Ausbau der Pumpe incl. Vor- und Nachbereitung (Pumpe einbauen und in den Brunnen verbringen, Testen, Pumpe aus dem Brunnen entnehmen, trocknen und verpacken) hat mit zwei Personen ca. drei Stunden gedauert. Wer bezahlt mir das?
Ich finde es unmöglich, dass solche Geräte völlig ungeprüft von einem Kunden zum anderen verbracht werden. Dem ersten egomanischen Kunden ist alles egal und ich als der zweite Kunde habe den Ärger und die Aufwände.
Ich finde dieses Verhalten von Amazon unhaltbar.

Klare Kaufempfehlung
Wir haben die Pumpe jetzt 4 Monate im Einsatz und bisher keine Beanstandungen. Sie hat genug Leistung, um auch eine Bewässerungsanlage mit Wasser aus der Zisterne zu versorgen und macht einen recht robusten Eindruck.

Alles top. Funktioniert Bestens. Über die Langlebigkeit kann ich noch nichts sagen, ich hoffe das Ding wird viele Jahre seinen Dienst verrichten.

macht was sie soll ….. Wasser aus der Zisterne in den Garten pumpen. Mir gefällt das sie viel Dampf hat, sie muss ca 25m bei mir überbrücken, das macht sie super bisher.

Abtauchen lassen und das Wasser läuft
Die GARDENA Tauch-Druckpumpe 6100/5 ist sehr solide gearbeitet, schaded, dass sie in den Tiefen des Brunnes verschwindet.
Die Pumpe wird uns in einer 5m tiefen Regenwasserzisterne verwendet, welche nicht versiegelt ist, dh. dass das gesammelte Regenwasser bei Nicht-Gebrauch im Erdreich nach und nach versickert.
Die Zisterne wird durch das anfallende Regenwasser auf dem Grundstück und den Dächern des Hauses gespeist, dadurch gelangt viel Schmutz in Form von Sand, Nadeln usw. in die Zisterne, dies stellt Dank des eingebauten Filters keine große Herausforderung für die Pumpe da. Nichtsdestotrotz werde ich die Pumpe mit der optional erhältlichen schwimmenden Ansaugung erweitern, sicher ist sicher.
Für die Bewässerung des Rasens und der Beete ist der gelieferte Druck mehr als ausreichend.
Ich hoffe die Pumpe wird mich lange begleiten und nicht den Tod des Rückschlagventils erliegen. Bisher kann ich die Pumpe nur empfehlen.

Pumpenautomatik funktioniert von Anfang an nicht; Billiges Kunststoff-Rückschlagventil
habe diese Pumpe nicht über Amazon, sondern am 12.08. 2020 bei Böttcher AG, Jena gekauft. Der Händler kann aber nichts für die Probleme.
Die Pumpenautomatik funktionierte von Anfang an nicht. Dreht man den Hahn im Bewässerungssystem zu stoppt die Pumpe zwar, aber wenn man die Pumpe nach ca. 30 Minuten wieder benötigt und den Wasserhahn aufdreht, passiert nichts. Die Pumpe läuft erst wieder, wenn man sie vom Strom trennt (Stecker raus) und wieder anschliesst (Stecker wieder rein). Gardena empfiehlt auf Ihrer Internetseite bei Fehlfunktionen der Automatik das Rückschlagventil auszubauen und zu reinigen bzw. zu überprüfen. beim Ausbau des Ventils zeigte sich, dass ein dünner Stift am oberen Ende des Rückschlagventils gebrochen war. Der hatte in der Mitte noch eine dünnere Stelle und genau dort war er abgebrochen. Billigstes Plastik scheinbar sogar mit einer "Sollbruchstelle". Wie kann man so einen billigen Mist verbauen? Das Problem mit der Automatik wird in verscheidenen Foren im Internet recht häufig auch von anderen Käufern beschrieben. Merkwürdigerweise liest man in Produkttest aber nie etwas davon. Ein Schelm, der Böses dabei denkt. --- Andererseits, das sei zugegeben, leistet die Pumpe, wenn sie denn läuft, eine gute Wasserförderung. Wenn man aber für ein Markenprodukt einiges mehr ausgibt, sollte man auch entsprechende Leistung erwarten. Ich rate vom Kauf der pumpe ab, weil die Pumpenautomatik vorsichtig gesagt nicht stabil ist und das verbaute Rückschlagventil keinen Cent wert ist. Wieso verbaut Gardena, bzw. Husquarna hier kein stabiles Messingventil, wenn man offenbar bereist weiß, dass es mit diesem Billigventil nicht nur vereinzelt Probleme gibt?

Pumpt kräftig und gleichmäßig - mit praktischer Sicherheitsfunktion bei vorhandenen Lecks
Bislang haben wir für unserem Brunnen ein Hauswasserwerk eingesetzt, welches das Wasser aus dem Brunnen angesaugt und dann ins Leitungsnetz gepumpt hat. Dies ging immer mit einer Menge Lärm einher und war des öfteren defekt. Auch die Vibrationen, die ins Leitungsnetz übergingen waren störend.
Nun sollte diese Tauchdruckpumpe aus Edelstahl (Typ 6100/5 automatic) zeigen, was sie konnte. Sie wird direkt in den Brunnen (oder Wassertank) gelassen und pumpt von dort das Wasser hoch, anstatt es erst mühsam ansaugen zu müssen.
Die Pumpe hat ein integriertes Rückschlagventil und benötigt lediglich einen angeschlossenen Schlauch (oder Rohr) sowie Strom.... und ein Seil, um sie bei Problemen auch wieder aus dem Brunnnen raufziehen zu können. Eine 20 Meter Stromleitung ist glücklichweise bereits angebracht und ein 25 Meter Seil wird mitgeliefert. Der Anschluss ist also schnell erledigt. Die Pumpe wird also ins Wasser abgelassen (150mm Öffnung/Rohr notwendig) und schaltet sich automatisch ein, wenn der Wasserdruck durch Öffnen eines Wasserhahns absinkt. In weniger als einer Sekunde steht der volle Druck zur Verfügung. Geräusche gibt es keine mehr. Evtl. mal vorkommende Sandkörner sind unkritisch, da die Pumpe Objekte bis 1mm Durchmesser übersteht und einfach 'wegpumpt'.
Die Pumpe ist in der Lage bis zu 6100 Liter pro Stunde zu pumpen - das reicht auch für einen großen Garten. Dabei kann ein Höhenunterschied von bis zu 47 Metern überwunden werden (= max. 4,7 Bar).
Die Praxis zeigt: Die Pumpe springt schnell an, der Druck ist gleichmäßig, Geräusche gibt es keine mehr.
Einzig ein Aspekt ist zu beachten: Wir hatten ein winziges Leck in einem unter der Terrasse liegenden Rohr, was bislang nicht auffiel, da es das Saugrohr war. Nun aber, bei Verwendung als Druckrohr, trat hier permanent Wasser heraus, mit dem Ergebnis, dass die Pumpe alle paar Minuten anspringen musste, um den Druck wieder herzustellen. Die Pumpe hat eine Erkennung für genau ein solches Problem und schaltet dann irgendwann ab, denn ansonsten würde man diese Undichtigkeit niemals feststellen und tausende Liter Wasser würden verschwendet. Die Pumpe muss dann als Reset einmal kurz vom Strom getrennt werden.... und natürlich muss man das Leck finden. Ohne die Funktion hätten wir das Leck nie gesucht & gefunden, denn die Pumpe ist ja nun unhörbar und ein regelmäßiges Anspringen wäre uns nicht aufgefallen.
Wenn also die Pumpe immer mal wieder abschaltet, ist wohl irgendwo ein Leck vorhanden!
Fazit: eine Pumpe die einen guten Eindruck macht und kräftig und gleichmäßig pumpt. Ich kann nur hoffen, dass sie lange hält.

Auf unserem Grundstück existieren zwei Zisternen bzw. Regenwasser-Auffangschächte, mit denen wir die komplette Umgebung bewässern. In einem Schacht rackert seit einigen Jahren eine Combi-Tauchpumpe AL-KO Twin 14000. Günstiger als die Gardena 5900/4 oder die 6100/5, dafür ggf. etwas leistungsschwächer, was bei der übersichtlichen Tiefe der Schächte allerdings keine Auswirkungen nach sich zieht. Die Gardena hat mehr Druck auf dem Kessel, was sich am Gartenschlauch-Ende geringfügig bemerkbar macht und im Bedarfsfall den gleichzeitigen Betrieb von mehreren Sprinklern ermöglicht. Und das Gehäuse ist nicht nur aus Plastik, sondern z.T. aus Edelstahl - ein vermeintlicher Mehrwert, der mir jetzt um ehrlich zu sein aber völlig egal ist. Eine integrierte Automatik benötige ich nicht, denn beide Pumpen werden manuell per Stromschalter angesteuert, mit einem Schutz vor Trockenlauf bei zu wenig Wasser können allerdings beide Varianten dienen.
Vom etwas höheren Preisniveau abgesehen (vermutlich z.T. auch einfach auf das reine Gardena-Branding als Premium-Marke zurückzuführen), sind negative Begleiterscheinungen aktuell nicht zu erkennen. Das Stromkabel und das Befestigungsseil der Pumpe sind großzügig arrangiert, der Filter hält Blätter und größeren Schmutz souverän vom Pumpeninneren ab und kann ohne Probleme abgenommen und schnell gereinigt werden. Hier sprechen wir ohnehin von einer "einmal-im-Jahr" Aktion, wenn überhaupt.
Am Ende wird die Langlebigkeit der Gardena über die Thematik Daumen hoch / Daumen runter entscheiden. Eine alte Gardena war knapp 10 Jahre ein solider Regenauffangschacht-Begleiter, danach war Schicht im Schacht. Die Al-ko haben wir erst seit knapp zwei Jahren. Es automática y por eso cogí Gardena.
La he cogido porque no conozco otra marca que sea automática y se auto arranque. Pero la marca en sí es mala, servicio técnico peor, y vino la caja que venía de Italia, totalmente destrozada, lo que pasa que hacia falta tener agua y me quedé. Si no necesitas que sea automática no la recomiendo. Porque pagas marca pensado que es de calidad y no lo es.

Digna sustituta de una bomba que costaba el doble que esta
Instalada en un pozo de 10m de profundidad en una pequeña casita que tenemos en el campo y que suministra agua a un bidón de 15.000 litros para abastecimiento y riego, pero hemos modificado con una válvula de 3 vías para que pueda hacer riego directo con la función automática y va perfecta.
La distancia desde el pozo hasta el bidón es de unos 30 metros y si sumamos las Elevaciones del pozo y la altura del bidón, da como resultado que es capaz de elevar el agua 10+4 metros con una distancia de 30 metros de manguera de 1” y aun así, saca un caudal aproximado de 2.5m3 por hora, calculado con lo que tarda en llenar el bidón.
Se ve de buena calidad de fabricación aunque no es íntegra en metal, pero no veo inconveniente en ello.
Cuesta la mitad que la que teníamos y ofrece mejor rendimiento.
De momento, lleva instalada poco más de un mes sin ningún problema, y aunque el uso en estas fechas es más limitado, esperemos que esté a la altura en la época de verano, sobre todo en durabilidad, pero eso es algo que no puedo analizar de momento.
Pinta bien, y la verdad es que todo lo que he tenido de esta marca me ha salido buenísimo.
La recomiendo.
La distancia desde el pozo hasta el bidón es de unos 30 metros y si sumamos las Elevaciones del pozo y la altura del bidón, da como resultado que es capaz de elevar el agua 10+4 metros con una distancia de 30 metros de manguera de 1” y aun así, saca un caudal aproximado de 2.5m3 por hora, calculado con lo que tarda en llenar el bidón.
Se ve de buena calidad de fabricación aunque no es íntegra en metal, pero no veo inconveniente en ello.
Cuesta la mitad que la que teníamos y ofrece mejor rendimiento.

Muy útil para nuestro jardín trasero
Esta bomba sumergible es la opción perfecta para cualquier casa con pozo que necesite regar el jardín de manera fácil y rápida.
La hemos usado para poder regar nuestro jardín trasero, donde se encuentra la piscina, utilizando el agua del pozo.
Gracias a su sistema hidráulico de tres rodetes, nos permite bombear y transportar grandes cantidades de agua (algo menos de seis mil litros a la hora) de manera eficiente y silenciosa, es algo que nos ha encantado, apenas hace ruido.
Su sistema de inicio y parada automático, nos ayuda encendiendo la bomba cuando necesitemos el agua y se detiene cuando no la necesitamos. De esta manera conseguimos ahorrar agua y luz, incluso podemos configurar un riego totalmente automático si lo combinamos con un programador de riego.
En nuestro caso la tenemos conectada a un pozo de unos ocho metros, y riega el jardín con tres aspersores, pero puede trabajar hasta con cuatro de manera simultánea.
Algo que indica el fabricante y que nos es muy útil y da seguridad es que si la tubería gotea, detecta la fuga automáticamente y detiene la bomba para evitar que el agua provoque daños.
Si en el fondo del pozo se forman sedimentos, se puede configurar para que use la succión por flotación de manera opcional.
Su filtro es muy fácil de limpiar, por lo que evitamos la obstrucción de la bomba.
Sin duda ha resultado de gran ayuda a la hora de regar nuestro patio trasero, sin duda todo un acierto. Es un producto de calidad, que se preocupa por el medio ambiente y nos da la confianza y seguridad de un fabricante conocido como Gardena.

Presión alta y bombeo correcto.
Bomba a presión automática perfecta para pozos y cisternas.
Nada más por la marca del producto, ya sabemos ante qué nos encontramos. Gardena es sinónimo de calidad. De hecho, tengo muchos productos de esta marca y estoy encantado con todos.
El precio, quizás es algo elevado, pero sabes que estás pagando por un producto de excelente calidad y que funciona a la perfección. Además, si lo utilizas bien y lo cuidas, te durará muchos años, con lo cual, a la larga, es muy rentable.

Es bastante robusta (pesa más de 12 kg). Fabricada en acero inoxidable. Duradera y resistente. Tiene un filtro integrado, el cual es muy útil si el agua tiene residuos o arena. Limpiar el filtro es muy sencillo. Basta con quitarlo y pasarlo por agua limpia.
El cable para enchufarlo es bastante largo (20 metros). Funciona en pozos de una profundidad máxima de 17 metros.

El motor es bastante silencioso. Además, el agua sale a bastante presión. Aunque no tengo el aparato para comprobarlo, el fabricante garantiza hasta 4,7 bar. Podrás usarlo para diferentes tareas, como llenar depósitos o regar, incluso con varios aspersores a la vez.
La bomba bombea y se desconecta automáticamente cuando no se extraiga más agua. Gracias a la válvula antirretorno integrada se mantiene la presión en la manguera hasta que esta empieza a succionar agua. Puede bombear una cantidad máxima de 6.100 l/h.
Tiene un consumo eléctrico de 1.100W/h.
En resumen, buena bomba a presión. Materiales robustos y de calidad. Muy buen funcionamiento.
