Easy job..Expensive but it fixed my 05 f250 stuck horn
Great product but costs way more than it should imo. One star removed for price. Fixed my intermittent stuck horn in my 05 f250. It's an easy job, disconnected both batteries, waited 20 mins, popped the two quarter size covers off the side of the steering wheel. Pulled the two bolts out and the steering wheel pad and airbag assembly pull out, disconnect two harness plugs. Flip airbag assembly over, remove two hex screws, partially separate the vinyl cover from the airbag assembly, slide the old horn pad out, slide the new one in with the 2 tabs in the correct spots. Reassemble in reverse order. The harness clip slides on to a piece of metal on the airbag assembly, but was a loose fit compared to the factory horn pad harness. I wrapped the metal clip in tape before sliding it on so it wasn't loose. Horn works great now, was able to put the fuse back in and enjoy a normal horn. I'm probably going to honk at everyone now.

Fit my 2002 F-150 S-CREW. Horn works again!!
Ran into the constant horn blowing issue that many others report on various forums. Took out the under hood fuse disabling the horn (and cruise control). Having the horn randomly go off at 2am is not fun.
After researching the application list for this just got more confused. Amazon says this does not fit my truck, but based upon my research not surprised. On different sites I have seen a mixture of lists of what it does fit on. Finally disassembled the steering airbag and horn unit to check. The horn repair kit was a perfect match to what was in my 2002 F-150 Super Crew. Only took a 10 minutes or so to replace including putting the horn fuse back in.
Remember that airbags can be dangerous. Make sure you unhook the auto battery.

Easy Install
Horn wouldn't stop blowing when pressed. To install, remove 2 5/16" bolts on rear of steering after popping out the plugs that cover them. Then pull out the airbag/horn assembly a bit and take apart the two electrical connectors. Remove the two T25 Torx screws and pinch the tabs on both ends and release the horn section from the airbag. No need to mess with airbag. Remove old horn contact and note how it was inserted new in the same way it came out and re-connect electrical connectors; reinstall same way it came apart. Horn on my 2006 F350 now works as it should; part likely fits a LOT of Ford models. The part is not available through Ford.

Worked PERFECTLY!
Pretty scary taking the air bag out of my 04 Ford F350! Disconnected both batteries, waited 20 minutes and pumped the brakes several times. When I got the airbag apart, it was easy to position this piece in place and reassemble. I finally passed the Virginia inspection with a functional horn. Thank you so much!!

This is about a 10 minute project and very easy to replace
Despite what the information says, this fits my 2005 Excursion perfectly. It should fit all Ford Superduty trucks in the years listed. This replaces the original part TRW P/N 30316161C Option 5 perfectly. This is about a 10 minute project and very easy to replace. Search for this document online for the installation instructions: 924-904_IS.PDF.

So easy a cave man ...
Very easy to swap out bad one for new one, looks just the same except for cleaner/newer. I don't understand the price, but it fit, was easy to change out and solved the continuous horn sounding. Obviously another one of the built in defects from the auto builders.

Great Fit for a 99' F-150
I read all I could find about this part. Amazon put up a banner "doesn't fit your 99' F-150" Dorman that sells it said it won't work. So far so good, if it does't go off on its own at 3am it is a win

works with 98 f150 xlt
Had a pop up that said it does not fit my 98 f150. this was not true as it was a perfect match and works great. Note that it is a little bit of a pain to install but if you take your time you should have no problems.

2005 Ford F-250 horn pad replacement
One day my horn randomly went off in the drive way while I was inside. I noticed after that I had a blown horn fuse. Tried to just throw a new fuse in but the horn was stuck on so I did some research and was looking at wiring diagrams and tracing wires until I found this part on a forum. Quick 20 min. Install. Simple and easy and solved my problems.

Works but may have to squeeze the crimps tighter.
Poorly crimped terminals that were losing contact when the pad was installed. Had to use a pair of pliers to crimp them tighter and make proper contact.

Fixed my contsant ON horn!
My horn was stuck on with no cruise or airbag issues. Clockspring was not the issue. This contact installed very easily and fixed the issue. There is a bit too much play in the positive terminal of the contact as far as the factory mounting bracket is concerned, but I don't feel like it will be an issue long term.
