This is an excellent deal for this many AAAs and AAs!
It is an excellent deal! can't get that anywhere else if you shop Home Depot, Lowes or any other online retailer. Trusted battery name and lasts in remotes and all size led flashlights. I am extremely Satisfied!

Great deal - small packaging for storage
I have been able to get these same batteries at a better price, but I have had to wait for a sale, and have a coupon, as well as have the time to drive to the store. This seller has these batteries in boxes of 4, which are inside of the larger box (all original manufacturing boxes) containing the entire amount. I liked this the most because when you buy the large clam boxes, it is bulky to store in a draw, and having the clam upsidedown with a small tear in the back to stick you hand makes it messy. You also have to lift the clam to see if the batteries are AA or AAA. One or two will roll out, and, when you get down to the last 4 or so, you have no idea, because the clear clam is facing down.
This packaging was a happy surprise for me, and worth the extra couple of bucks. Not having to cut coupons and ride out to get these was nice as well.
Update: 12.18.16: I Have a laptop with a wireless mouse. I have an Empi stim unit. Both of these typically have their required batteries rattling and rolling around in the case because I never want rmto not have my pain relief to run out of juice! Nor do I want to have to use a two finger scrolling method on a mousing pad on a laptop!
These little boxes of four batteries each just made my tool's bags a whole lot better; no batteries falling out where I will later fall down by stepping on it.

Just bought. NO clue of longivity----or anything. I did put in one remote & it worked.
Considering HOW many items require batteries & many are small, insignificant "JUNK TOYS", or "DUMB purchases" not worth the cost of HIGHER COST, MAJOR BRAND can NOT be justified.!! I actually bought these as a CHRISTMAS gift for a family member with 6 household members. I am SO sick of "WATING/THROWING OUT HARD EARNED MONEY ON "junk" toys, different items, KIDS PLAY WITH FOR A WEEK & OUT TO THE "junk pile" FOR GOODWILL. THESE WILL BE SOMETHING EVERY HOUSEHOLD NEEDS BUT, WOULD NEVER BUY FOR THEMSELVES!! For all those reasons, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND BUYING AS A "GIFT" for your "LARGER FAMILY" who will use this many in 8-10 months. I added up the price if ya go buy "as needed & on an AVERAGE you pay OVER TWICE WHAT this package cost!!! COMMON SENSE CHRISTMAS GIFTS FOR "PARENTS"!! lol Kids want the "GOODIES"!!!

These batteries will be a few years old but still good
I am using these batteries in my remote mouse and keyboard at this very moment. They have just arrived and I believe ; that even though the packaging style is old fashioned ; the battery technology is still all 100% energizer, even the packs and boxes the batteries comes in. I believe the batteries may come from another country , because of the 90's like packaging, but still very good. Companies may use older style of boxes and things for other countries outside of the USA ; even if it is the most current date. The dates people speak of on the cardboard tiny boxes... That is the day they are made. If the box has number date 2018 , and it's 2020 ? It is within the 5-10 year battery hold charge time. Cheaper made batteries will wear out just sitting in a drawer in a month, as dollar store batteries. Batteries as Duracell or Energizer holds their charge for a very long time ; years.

Great Batteries, have purchased twice.
I've bought this package of batteries twice. The first time it came in a box, with boxes of 4 batteries inside it, and the second time it arrived in retail packaging. I was concerned when I saw some reviews stating that people received expired batteries, but wanted to share my research - the date stamped on the bottom of the cell is the manufacture date. Energizer stamps the expiry date on the SIDE of the cell, near where its labeled "AA" or "AAA." Mine came with a manufacture date stamped on the bottom of 02/2020, but the expiry dates are in 2029 and 2030. So far all of the batteries we have used from these packages seem to have full life and are chugging away. Great price on good batteries!

Avoid the disappointment and DON'T
As a contractor, it's necessary to have genuine/fresh batteries. These are not that! I found that I'm exchanging batteries every other week in my multimeters, smart probes, etc. These will typically last months if not years in some cases. Genuinely disappointed, but considering they came from Amazon, I really shouldn't have been. Back to going to Lowe's/Home Depot to gather FRESH batteries.

go getcha a ton of batteries for a great price!
For this price, I was amazed at what I would receive the first time I purchased this package, so I bought them again! And this is because the last time I made the purchase was 6 months ago. but think of this, I have a teenager, a little one who loves her games, and three tvs (and three remotes)...so basically we use a ton of batteries and when I bought the second order of them I still had one small box of both sizes left. You should buy these and save yourself some money. :)

Items were on back-order but arrived early, that was nice. Only using a couple right now and seem to have a full charge. I don't know how to review batteries since they will be used over a long time. Shipping was fine and the original battery packs were in good shape. Didn't seem like old stock but didn't notice any dates or markings. I am pleased and will recommend others to purchase.

Used for Fireplace Remote
I used the AAA in a remote for a fireplace and it worked perfectly at first. The next night the remote didn’t work. The night after that I turned the fireplace on manually and then used the remote with no issues. Will see what happens tonight!
