No functionality
garbage fan, installing it almost broke the fan socket on my Gigabyte GA970 motehrboard. So sufficed to say, it doesn't sit well in the AM3+ fan socket. The fan is quite, and the heat sink large but NO PWM, means that there really is no use for it, unless your primary CPU fan fails and you are looking for a cheap replacement. Heat sink compound does not come pre applied. and the one they give is quite useless.

Good cooler for the price
The fan was delivered on 22 Feb. 2016, had placed an order on the 19th and was promised delivery by 01 Mar. 2016, so shipping is quick! The fan is great and comes ready for AMD sockets. My stock fan on the Athlon 2 X4 640 had gone out of whack and was always running at incredible speeds with loud noise. The machine could be heard from anywhere in the house if it was on. So it was that loud.. and despite all the speed and noise the core was running average temperatures of 40C and 60C under load. The ambient temp. being around 57. Now with the new fan installed there is literally no sound unless you are very close to the PC. The average core temp is down to 29C and 55C underload with ambient temp of about 45C. So all in all the cooler is a good deal. Installation is not as difficult as some reviews seem to find. I was able to get in and install it in under 10 mins without taking out anything besides the stock cpu fan.

DISAPPOINTED A LITTLE
I HAD AN AM3+ SOCKET AND ITS INSTALLMENT WAS SO HARD.I HAD TO APPLY A LARGE FORCE TO INSTALL IT ON THE MOTHERBOARD.IT PROVIDES PLASTIC SCREWS TO INSTALL ON OTHER TYPES OF MOTHERBOARDS WHICH I THINK IS NOT A GOOD IDEA.BUT COOLER WORKS FINE.
NOTE:IT IS 3 PIN COOLER..IE,IT'S SPEED CANNOT BE CONTROLLED

Not recommended for all CPUs
Doesnt fit my cpu. Wasted an hour trying to install it. But the size is just incorrect. Very disappointed. Also the base of the ring has got stuck on my cpu and it is impossible to remove it.

A perfect cooling system for CPU
This is the best cheap cooling system you can ever find for your CPU. Fitting this over your CPU, is a little bit of pain, but once you are done, it works wonders on your CPU heating. The "SpeedFan" shows my CPU to be always around 40 degrees, while previously with the stock CPU cooler, it was very hot over 70 degrees or even more.
It is very silent too and you won't even notice it running inside compared to the stock cooler.
The only con I really find with this is that it is a quite large one, so you will need some space inside to accommodate this. If your chase is mini or micro ATX, you will probably have difficulty installing it, but still with some effort you can.
Some days my computer will be running throughout a day or even more and still, the core temperatures in my Core i4 won't run higher than 40 plus degrees, the most cool part of this cooler!!

Don't expect much from this CPU cooler!
I was looking for a cheap CPU cooler to just for aesthetics.I got a i3 4150 which is a locked CPU so no over clocking.
So about the cooler,looks big and cheap.I have micro itx mobo and the cooler fits just perfectly(does not collide with the RAM sticks.Fan speed cannot be controlled via Bios.But it is much more silent(really very silent) than the Intel stock cooler.
The installation is a real pain in the ass.Its really really difficult to attach the pins to the brackets. I was having a real hard time with it.I finally removed the fan from the heatsink and then managed to fit the hooks and then reattach the fan.
About the performance,its really hot in Pune and ideal temp and temps after playing games for 1 hr and another 15 min of stress testing on stock and this deepcool are below

Performance cooler with affordable price.
Purchase from Flipkart for 549.rs in 2013
After using this for almost 5 years. Still doing its job very well.
CPU temperature never goes beyond 69 in 5 years.
Playing games like farcry primal assassin's creed unity & other heavy CPU cosuming games.
Installation in bit difficult but the performance is worth.
Using this for my core i5 650.
Go ahed and buy it.

Useful for office work
Looks nice, will be useful only for normal use. System shuts down every time when cpu load increase, gaming is not possible with this cpu cooler. As the fan is very simple. Even speed is constant. BIOS can not increase or decrease the speed of the fan which is essential during heavy cpu load.

Very nice basic cpu cooler
Very nice basic cpu cooler - I bought for around 600 Rs.. helped me reduce my core2duo E6300 temps from 68 C to 50 C..

Not bad
Good cooler, better than OEM, useful in places where you have space constraints.
V/s my earlier Thermalright Ultra 120, there is a almost 20 degree increase in temperature (40-60 degrees at idle) on a Q6600.

Not recommended for amd processors
This cooler is only for old intel chips, it is not able to cool amd processors,also the quality of cooler is below average.
