Dear DAIKIN, please at least provide the basic attachments for installation
For God's sake, even a plug is missing. How I am I going to connect to power!!
To other customers: what you pay basically is for are two boxes, the indoor unit and the outdoor unit. Practically nothing else is provided. Installation charge of 1500, with "extra cost for additional items" is a big joke. Everything required for installation, you have to buy from your pocket. This includes the following:
- 3 core electric cable to connect the unit to power (just imagine!)
- Plug
- stand for outdoor unit
- water outlet pipe
- extra copper pipe if needed
Moreover, the installation guy will charge you double the amount for these items. I had purchased the stand separately from Amazon, thats how I know.
If you are caught unaware, be prepared to shell out 4-5k extra during installation.
This is a big cheating from the manufacturer in my opinion. They should provide all the attachments required for installation.

The review is based on approx. 2 months usage experience.
Pros
1. The AC is 1.5 T and is installed in Drawing Room with an area of approx. 200 SF
2. The room does not have direct sunlight on any wall but is shared with kitchen via a small lobby
3. Every suggestion was for 2 T minimum but due to budget constraint, I went for 1.5 T
4. The cooling is excellent and within 15 minutes you can feel the chills in the room
5. The fan speed and throw is excellent and silent
6. Comes with different modes as with other AC's

This is a worst product. They sent me used product and few parts were missing too. The technicians will not provide any job sheet and blames the customer.

Probably the best 1.5ton Inverter AC under Rs 45k
Great energy efficient cooling star!
Pros -
1) This draws a max of 6.75A only! So less heat on sockets
2) No need of stabilizer - very wide power band
3) Super silent - when i set temps to 28degrees i often look at the ac to make sure it is working, that is how silent it is. Outdoor unit is pretty silent too
4) Chills to the bone, havent used this below 24 degrees at all, that too not more than 15mins, 27-28 sets the temperature to perfect levels
5) Remote though not as per images is very useful and backlit led is great for nights
6) Very energy efficient, I use my ACs for 12-14 hours a day atleast, and this one will save me so much money as compared to my other 3 star non inverter AC
7) Daikin's installation - 5 stars - the guys spent 2 hours installing each AC (I bought 2) - meticulously routing wires/pipes etc. Also installation was done on same day of delivery in Noida! How about that
Cons -
1) Expensive (probably most expensive after ogeneral/mitsubishi)
2) Warranty on compressor is 5 years only (Not 10 years) - there is super confusion around this
3) Remote doesnt have slider to hide infrequently used functions (the remote as per image is not what is sent)
4) Installation charges per AC were approx 2500/- (not even a plug in the box)
5) 2 free services only - some brands give 3-4 free servicings
6) No temperature indicator on the indoor unit. This is available in the JTKJ series but that is 4k more expensive and has bad reviews (gas leakage etc)
7) some of the fins of indoor unit were bent (see photos), but not a deal breaker
Have said the above I bought one more exact same model since it is perfect. I've had ACs of several other brands, but Daikin has proven itself over and over again. Wont go to any other brand again.

Poor product quality
Product stopped cooling within 2 weeks. Self diagnostics shows no errors. Cooling was good while it worked. And every time you switch it on it trips the stabilizer and mains. Installation was not as expected. They didn’t even put the filters in. Had better expectation from Daikin. Now, no service because of lockdown.

Worth it!
I bought this ac for 40k from Amazon couple of days back and it's definitely worth it and a great product by Daikin. You can always trust the brand and regarding installation, installation guy was a professional but I felt like installation cost was bit high if you compare to other brands. The standard installation was Rs.1500 which I knew I had to pay and there is no outdoor unit stand included with the product and they will charge you Rs750 for the stand and for safety purpose I bought Vguard stabilizer as well (4kv) due to high voltage fluctuate in my area. It's better to be on the safer side which costed me Rs 2500 and installation guy won't charge you for connecting ac to stabilizer as it is covered. Installation costed me Rs 3370 which is very high but the service was good , everything was done perfectly. It's too early for me to judge the product but I can say this as this one is better than other brands and it does cool your room in 3 minutes and noise level is very low. Go for this product you wouldn't regret it in future.

Daikin Installation person is too professional though it is bit expensive because of logistics and all at my home still happy with the service.

Daikin AC didn't work for a month....
One of the worst experience with Daikin air condition not even a month completed and the AC is not working... indoor unit is not working due to leakage of gas. Raised complaint to the service centre. After continuously follow up today Daikin team updated me that they will replace the indoor unit now. But but now there is a twist in the story that indoor unit is not available as of now so we will replace the coil. AC purchased for Rs.45500. which is Rs3000 expensive from the local market and still there is no solution. Purchased AC on 29th of June 2020 installed on 1st of July 2020 service centre people came in four days back but there is no clarity till now.... Good Daikin good.

Bad experience to buy through online...Kit was missed
I believe in Daikin Ac product because I have been using one another Daikin since 2012 that's why I had ordered..
But when we got Ac without kit that was bad experience for us to buy through online...
I have paid extra 3500/- to service engineer to get that kit...
Installation charge is too much high compared to other brand...
It was total 4200/- (1500 installation + 1500/- hanging of compressor+ 1100/- electric wire & outlet pipe)...
I have no doubt about this product. This product is really good having less noise & energy efficiency...
But when we got Ac without kit that was bad experience for us to buy through online...
I have paid extra 3500/- to service engineer to get that kit...
Installation charge is too much high compared to other brand...
It was total 4200/- (1500 installation + 1500/- hanging of compressor+ 1100/- electric wire & outlet pipe)...

Overcharged for installation
A/C unit works fine. No issue so far.
Warranty is not valid unless installed by Daikin. Daikin is overcharging for installation.
For us they charged the below
Covid travel surcharge - 400 (not sure who authorized them to collect, Amazon delivered the unit without any shipping charges or additional charges)
Power cable - 600 (He comes with a cable, cuts it into two, connects from main power to external unit and external unit to internal unit. He claims, company provided power cable does not withstand the main power source!!)
Tape charges - 150 (tape used on the insulation)
Other charges - 100
Icing on the cake - Daikin call support center informed me that installation charges for a 5 start inverter A/C is 599 + tax only, but the installation team charges 1500 if you buy from Amazon. Wonder what difference it makes to them for installation!!

Excellent Product from Daikin
Got it for ₹40,250/- in the Great Indian Sale. Nice product from Daikin. Best in the 40k Budget. Cools room in less than 15 minutes. I like the four way swing in this product. Installation costs me around ₹4,020/- (standard installation ₹1,770 with tax and copper pipe extension for additional 10ft ₹2,250). I have bought outdoor unit stand in a local shop for ₹500 and additional wire & socket for ₹800. I feel installation cost is a bit high. We will also get 2 free services within the first year , 10 years warranty on the compressor and 5 years warranty on PCB is also worth.

DO NOT BUY, Does not cool enough!
Does not provide cooling, service technicians failed to fix the issue even in 3 visits. Unit had manufacturing defects! Bought this to enjoy the few remaining days of summer, but got nothing but a frustrating experience. Lot of time wasted. Daikin technicians say that the unit does not have inbuilt stabilizer. Do not buy. Still not fixed. Seems like I wasted 43K to buy a fan!

Excellent unit but,Take care while using exchange.
I have always used Daikin. It's the best, as far as my opinion goes. Of course, I have not used any other. Too soon to comment on the working of the new one. But, should be good. The only problem I felt was with Amazon for exchange. While booking,it is never mentioned that we have to uninstall the old unit. The delivery person refused to deliver before uninstalling the old A/C. Even after a long argument with Amazon via chat and phone,they were not able to give me a satisfactory answer. One lady said the old machine should not have even 1 scratch on it. If it was so,why would I exchange? It was a perfectly working machine.

Diakin - Installation feedback
Great product but difficult installation service. This is my second Diakin AC for the house. This time I had to buy two so i chose LG and Diakin. LG technicians came, evaluated thoroughly and explained if any changes to the wall are required or not and got all rquipments with them - did the work end to end and finished very professionally. Now, came Diakin technicians - absolutely lethargic, full of attitude, did not have all equipments, not even explaining if the wall will have to be broken or not just started hammering the wall. Did not even bother to ask about the positioning of the AC. Extremely unprofessional. The product is great no doubt but technicians were extremely bad in their behaviour.

Will post detailed review after a month.
Yesterday it was installed, installation took 5 hours.
The installation guys had to buy extra
1. outlet drain water pipe
2. 3 core wire (FROM Outdoor unit TO 15 Ampere point)
3. 3 pin plug for outdoor unit power supply
4. Extra 3 feet copper pipe
5. Out door unit stand (Rs. 850)
Total charges taken for above items + standard installation charges = Rs. 3000
Yesterday it was installed, installation took 5 hours.
The installation guys had to buy extra
1. outlet drain water pipe
2. 3 core wire (FROM Outdoor unit TO 15 Ampere point)
3. 3 pin plug for outdoor unit power supply
4. Extra 3 feet copper pipe
5. Out door unit stand (Rs. 850)
Total charges taken for above items + standard installation charges = Rs. 3000

Best Deal
Daikin is good name when it comes to AC systems. I was little worried about the after-sale service as i heard that service for Daikin is not very good. I took the chance and it was worth taking it. Daikin has improved beautifully to its services. from customere care to fitting and further services is awesomely professional and greatly done.
Wih respect to AC , it is working well , good for 200 sf area. silent , cooling is awesome, ...what else... Over all it is best deal for the price , quality, service and nice product.

Best price for daikon air conditioning
Great price( this is the cheapest I could get in my city). Never expected to get a daikin air conditioner for this price. Prepare to pay extra for installation and accessories. You only get what you paid for and that’s pretty clear and evident on the discription. No complains with the unit till now. Used it for 2months now.

Quality Product
It’s working fine and chills the 170 feet room in no time. It’s silent. Power consumption is yet to be seen. Although dose the job bought for. I recommend it to all potential buyers. It’s seems to be a quality product.
