we've had some realy frustrating issues with getting 4g around our home. after a year of bliss with everything working perfectly we've really struggled!
the 4g network went down, at the same time a brand new 4g router died (at just 1 day old)
our faithful, and still very new netgear mesh extender, refused to work with our new d-link router (turns out their statement that it will work with "any router" was not true as customer services - after a very protracted and frustrating conversation over nearly a week - told me their extender will not work with a d-link router)
amazon customer services have been beyond fantastic with all of this, with a full refund for the clearly defective netgfear extender, and a replacemenbt d-link router when i realised the one i'd just set up was faulty. they helped with our old huawei router too (which died at one year plus 1 week) and gave us a full refund on that too - because Huawei lied and refused to honour the 2 year warranty (with Amazon customer services on the phone listening with me).
i did, however, a really helpful online chat with a d-link representative (about why my d-link router and net gear extender wouldn't communicate) and the d-link customer services was so superb i decided to cut my losses and just get a d-link extender (repeater)
they are not as easy to come by, but this model was a breeze to set up. i did think about a higer spec one (this model only repeats the 2.4 ghzx signal from our 4g router) but our 5g devices can all happily connect directly anyway, and it is only the 2.4 ghz devices that we're really struggling to get to work in our really long home.
set up was a doddle and it works fantastic. it has numerous ways of mounting it somewhere, including flat, a stand to prop it upright, or as I did - screw holes so i can secure it to a bookcase.
really please (my wife was nervous to ask if it was actually all working after the last 7 weeks of nightmare we have had with routers and extenders expiring or being incompatible with each other, when that shouldn't be an issue)
but i can declare that all is good. ook, only our first day, but it setting up and allowing me connect it it's online portal is a huge breakthrough after the issues we've had.

This got me out of a tight spot - the signal in one corner of our house isn't great, and the inbuilt WiFi on my Mac Mini just can't pick up. I used a teensy USB WiFi adapter for a while, but the third party drivers are a bit flaky and hard to keep working when you go up Mac OS versions. Having a 'proper' station means I don't have to worry. OK you have to power it and plug in a LAN cable, find somewhere to stand it, but it's worth it. Recommended.

I had fitted one of these out in my workshop as a wireless access point and it has been running for months without any problems. I bought another one recently to add wireless to another workshop on the other side of the house. Again, first class performance. These are *so* easy to set up - literally 5 minutes from the quick setup guide - and their performance is fantastic. would definitely recommend these to anyone needing another wireless access point. Superb.

I bought this to give me faster wifi then my old wireless router. It is very flexible in its configuration & easy to set up. I was a little disappointed in the signal strength reported by the connected wireless devices, but it does seem to work pretty well in spite of that. The speed is much better than the older b/g wireless router which I only use as a router for internet to Ethernet connection now.

Bought this to extend the range of my DIR-615 which is an excellent router with excellent range, but i needed signal at the end of our long garden. The DIR-615 does this perfectly but it has to be near a patch panel in a cupboard & is at the other side of the house. I thought that the DAP-1360 would give a really good signal as well but was i wrong. 'Ive tried it in repeater mode & access point mode and even in a clear line of sight you be lucky to get 1 bar out of 5 on the signal readout standing ten feet away. Plus when you do get a signal close up the wireless signal stays on for about 10seconds switches off for five seconds back on for ten seconds, see the pattern emerging. Absolutely a rubbish product. Going back TODAY!!

Ansich ist ein Fast Ethernet Switch nicht mehr zeigemäß. Will man allerdings nur Internet im Haus verteilen reichts einfach und der Verbrauch von 1-2 Watt ist unschlagbar. Was mir nicht gefällt: Das was die Haltbarkeit ausmacht sind die Bauteile des internen Netzteils. Die Kondensatoren sind das Billigste und von schlechtem Ruf. Haltbarkeit ist hier Glückssache. Höherwertige Bauteile hätten vielleicht 50 cent im Einkauf mehr gekostet. Wenn der Hersteller hier spart, liegt das Augenmerk einfach nicht auf Qualität, auch wenn der Switch nach außen hin den Eindruck vermittelt.

Da ich kein großer Freund von W-LAN bin, habe ich viele Netzwerkdosen verbaut. Da die Router Anschlüsse natürlich viel zu wenig sind, war aus meiner Sicht die beste Lösung sich einen Switch zu besorgen. Ich wollte so wenig Konfigurationsaufwand haben wie möglich und hier war dieser Switch für mich die beste Lösung.
All meine Erwartungen wurden erfüllt.
- Einfache Handhabung: An Strom angeschlossen und LAN Kabel verbunden, schon hat alles funktioniert.
- 19" Rack Montage problemlos mit mitgelieferten Zubehör.
- Lüfterlos und somit Geräuschlos
- Hohe Geschwindigkeit im Gigabit Bereich.
Diesen Netzwerk-Switch würde ich jederzeit wieder kaufen.
All meine Erwartungen wurden erfüllt.

Il prodotto è arrivato in poco tempo, come da consueto Amazon.
Consigliato per chi ha la possibilità di crearsi una piccola rete domestica cablata; lo uso con soddisfazione da oltre un anno e non ho mai avuto problemi di stabilità nelle porte (11/16 utilizzate). Lo tengo in un rack costruito artigianalmente, di legno, e non ha mai avuto problemi di surriscaldamento. In ogni caso nella confezione sono disponibili gli agganci per un armadio rack standard.
sul pannello frontale vi sono i led di accensione e quelli relativi alle porte ethernet; mentre sul pannello posteriore vi è l'ingresso per l'alimentazione e il pulsante di accensione/spegnimento.
Unica pecca, se non agganciato ad una struttura, in qualche modo (biadesivo sotto, viti, rack...), il peso e l'inerzia dei cavi ethernet controlleranno la posizione dello switch, in quanto è leggero. Avrei preferito avesse dei piedini in gomma per non scivolare.
Rispetta quanto descritto in termini di velocità, anche se consiglio la sua versione maggiore, quella con porte Gigabit, che dispone di circuiti di risparmio energetico e spegnimento delle porte non utilizzate.

Der Switch hat ein stabiles Metallgehäuse, ist solide verarbeitet und wirkt sehr hochwertig. Die LEDs sind hell und auffällig genug um auf den ersten Blick erkennen zu können, welche Geräte aktiv sind und mit welcher Geschwindigkeit sie kommunizieren, aber nicht so grell dass sie in einer dunklen Umgebung den ganzen Raum beleuchten würden.
Auch beim Netzteil gibts nichts zu meckern. Es hat kompakte Abmessungen, sodass es in einer Steckdosenleiste nur einen Steckplatz in Anspruch nimmt und nicht noch zwei andere überdeckt. Außerdem gibt es absolut kein nerviges Pfeiffen und Fiepen von sich. So muss das sein :-)

Habe den Switsch für unser Büro mit 10 Pc's und einem Server gekauft weil der alte 8 und 5 prt nicht mehr gereicht heit.
Nach 2 wochen erste Aussetzer die durch einen Neustart des Gerät's behoben werden konten nach weiterer Woche hat auch das nicht mehr geholfen. Ledes leuchten aber keine verbindung bzw. nur noch Fehler zwischen Server und Clienten.
Ich muss noch dazu sagen die 24 Port Variante haben wir im Anderen Büro im einsatz, der ist absolut top! seit mehr als 2 Jahren.

- Permanent gibt es Unterbrechungen.
- Fehlersuche unmöglich.
Die möglichen 2Mbit funktionieren auch nicht. Schade, dass DLink für so einen Preis nicht mehr bietet.

Avevo gia' acquistato lo stesso modello della D-LINK a 16 porte ed ero rimasto gia' pienamente soddisfatto , poi ho incrementato la mia rete ed ho avuto necessita' di qualche porta in piu' ed ho acquistato questo modello a 24 porte D-Link DGS-1024D Switch 24 Porte Gigabit , leggermente piu' voluminoso in altezza e leggermente piu' pesante , il suo lavoro lo svolge egregiamente , consiglio l'acquisto

Ich nutze diesen Switch mittlerweile seit etwa einem halben Jahr, er ist für mehrere Homeserver zuständig. Dementsprechend läuft dieser 24/7 und ich hatte bislang keine Probleme mit ihm. Die Qualität lässt ebenfalls nicht zu wünschen übrig.
Das einzige was ich mir wünschen würde wäre eine genauere Bedienungsanleitung, mit einer Erklärung des Nutzens der Dipswitches.

Einfach Anstöpseln, fertig. 1000 M/Bit werden problemlos übertragen. Schön ist auch die Anzeige über die mögliche Verbindungsgeschwindigkeit der angeschlossenen Geräte. Da ich vorher jahrelang einen 100 M/Bit Gigabit Switch von D-Link im Einsatz hatte und diesen nur wegen der neuen Netzgeschwindigkeiten austauschen musste, hoffe ich mal, dass dieses Produkt ebenfalls so langlebig ist....

I installed this switch between my DSL modem and my whole-house ethernet patch panel. It mounts in a 19" rack, and installation took less than five minutes, including screwing it into place in the rack and patching in the cables. Couldn't be simpler, and now I have fast ethernet throughout the house. Foolproof. I expect it will give long and trouble free service, like my other D-link equipment.

Einbau und Inbetriebnahme denkbar einfach. Der vorhandene D-Link Switch mit 8 Ports, der immer problemlos funktioniert hat, wurde durch diesen 16 Port Switch zur Erweiterung des Heimnetzwerkes ersetzt. Leider kam es bereits von Beginn an zu regelmäßigen Verbindungsabbrüchen.
Daher geht dieser Switch zurück. Inzwischen wurde ein ebenfalls ungemanagter Switch von Netgear eingebaut und verrichtet klaglos seine Arbeit.

Avevo già il 16 porte e per necessita di ampliare la mia rete domestica ho preso il 24 porte. nessun rumore, completamente automatico, riconosce la velocità della rete e del singolo apparato fino a 1giga funzione di ottimizzazione dei consumi con spegnimento della porta se non in uso. assolutamente consigliato

Per un uso amatoriale senza essere esperti informatici. Chi cerca un prodotto veloce e rapido senza grosse configurazioni. Basta inserire il primo cavo ethernet dal modem allo switch e poi successivamente gli altri in base alle esigenze, se avete una rete cablata o se invece collegate tutto direttamente. Esempio tv, console ecc ecc.

Ho ricevuto il prodotto con tempestività da parte di Amazon, prodotto che fa il suo dovere silenzioso e facile da montare, dopo averlo collegato subito si è messo in funzione ne ho collegate 12 di porte e tutte 12 funzionano una meraviglia.

Nach nur 7 Monaten hängt sich der Switch im 5 Minuten Rhythmus auf...
Auch zwischenzeitlich immer mal wieder Aussetzer gehabt die sich nur durch Netztrennung haben beheben lassen.
Austausch durch Amazon wie immer vorbildlich. Hoffe das Ersatzgerät hält länger durch.
