- хороший разгон
- радиаторы
- бонус подсветка регулируемая и датчик температуры
- низкие тайминги 8-8-8-2T на частоте 1600 - - нет

Легко взяли 1800 МГц - - Выше 1800 МГц разогнать не удалось...

- + -разогнал до 2133 МГц при 10-11-11-30 (на 1866 работает спокойно при 9-10-9-28)
-цена 8 ГБ комплекта вышло в 1641 ру, соответственно...

- + Низкая цена, несмотря на рывки доллара. Радиаторы ниже чем у Kingston KHX.
- - Пока не выявил
Установил на GA-990XA-UD3 совместно с Kingston KHX2000C9AD3T1K2/4GX. Ранее сам не пользовался продукцией данного производителя, надеюсь не подведет. Если не возникнет проблем, то долгое время не придется беспокоиться из-за нехватки памяти и её частоты.

Really does work fine, but keep in mind that older Operating Systems like Windows XP, for example, do not recognize memory over something like 2.5gb. I didn't know that until I installed this 8gb memory "kit", and my XP only reported 2.5gb. After a fair amount of web searching I found several examples of the same and one or two helpful folks stating that Windows 7 and 8 with 64-bit Operating Systems are required to recognize this much memory. I was going to upgrade soon anyway so I bought Win 7 Pro and it (the memory) works flawlessly. If there is anything "wrong" with this memory it's only that there is no mention anywhere that it needs a 64-bit Operating System like Windows 7/8.

Of course one should always check to see what type of memory their system requires when looking to upgrade or add memory to a system. For the systems this memory is designed for, it works fine.Another advantage to this memory is that it appears to be the only memory in its configuration that comes in 4Gb modules. Maybe there are some other vendors that offer this kind of memory in 4Gb modules, but the ones I looked at were limited to offering only 2Gb modules. So while I added only 8Gb to my system with this memory in 2 slots, I could have filled all 4 slots and brought my system up to 16GB. With the other modules I found, if I filled all 4 slots, I could only bring my system up to 8GB. Again, maybe I missed a vendor that also offers this memory in 4Gb modules, but this was the only one I found.And again, you need to check the various memory vendors to see what types of memory they offer that will work in your system. If this works for you, it is a very good value, and offers more memory per module than other vendors' products.

This is a 2-pack of dual-ranked, non-ECC, non-buffered RAM, 240 pin (desktop sized), 667MHz DDR2 (PC2-5300), with CL5 timing.That means, 8 data chips, no parity chip, and the back side of the DIMM is exactly the same (mirror) layout.The density of these DIMMs is the same as the 2GB 667MHZ DDR2 PC2-5300 - CT25672AA667 2GB DIMMS, but the last chip, the parity generator, is omitted.Because of the higher density of the chips, there are fewer systems which can actually utilize this module. Because these are also non-ECC, it will only work in a a short window of 2-3 years, high end, but non-server systems.Compare to Kingston ValueRAM 8GB 667MHz DDR2 ECC CL5 DIMM (Kit of 2) KVR667D2E5K2/8G which is a two pack of the same thing, except it has parity generators. The memory density of these (512x64 or 512x72 for ECC) is not compatible with intel server 3100 boards, such as in the Dell SC440.

Back in the days of Windows XP I used to have a sizable swap file and a 32GB ReadyBoost stick. Nowadays, thanks to a 64-bit OS and my new RAM DIMMs, I have enough real memory that I got rid of the ReadyBoost stick entirely and almost never page anything out to swap. I usually run a VM or two and I have several world Community grid clients running 24x7 and have no problem running all my other apps on top of that load. Sweet!These are in my dell Precision 690 workstation that requires this specific type of memory. Please verify which kind of memory you need or if your computer can take the higher density RAM chips before buying these!

I had to replace my fried motherboard so I decided to upgrade the memory to DDR3. I've had this memory stick running for about a year now and it still runs fine. I recommend, however buying a pair to take advantage of dual-channel. I'm planning to buy another one of these in a few weeks.

Note for anyone looking at this for their computer... this is fully buffered memory which means that it will most likely not work in your home computer unless you are using a server. By "not work", it means that the little notch in the memory sticks are intentionally located in a different location than regular DIMMs.These worked perfectly in my Dell PowerEdge 2950 servers... had to add memory when I installed VMWare ESXi on them.

Crucial is a good brand, but nobody is perfect. One of my new 1gb sticks was bad, and caused me a lot of grief. Only a motherboard diagnostic eventually found the problem. Took a couple of months to go bad. Not worth the RMA shipping.

I've got 8 RAM slots. Dell (silly Dell) shipped the machine with 512MB sticks. Useless! I swapped 4 of them out for these and moved to 7 64 bit. The only thing now is finding some way to use all of the RAM... Oh, it's not that hard! I've got a full 4GB VM running most of the time and often 2 and then I've moved my browser to another 4GB RAM disk. Now... Well... Now I might need to buy another couple of these to move up to 32GB RAM...

Not much more to say. Ordered a set from Crucial and paid a lot more for basically the same memory and got it here for much less and it works great in SC1425s. Wish I had purchased more as the price has jumped about $60 in a week. I got it for $220.

Ordered the wrong part and called the guys in Idaho - they were very helpful and got me an exchange and money back right away - the part I ordered cost more than the more appropriate one. Will never deal with anyone else for memory in the future.
