This memory chip was just what my Macbook needed. Very Easy to install and a great increase in performance from the 2GB DDR3 that came with my MAcbook. I am glad i bought it and i would recommend it to everyone who want some performance boost with their PC.

I just purchased this for my HP G72-b60us. Bottom line, it works, and great. It made this puppy, which used to crash when running premier elements, run smoothly and with no hesitation. Again, it works and it does what is supposed to do, increase a computer multi-task abilities. Thanks Amazon for the quick shipment. By the way, Amazon, can you install a program where I can input my computer's info you can direct me where I need to go and find the appropriate ways.

shipping was fast and upon receiving it, i installed it right away. i have a MBP 13' late 2010 model. after installation i booted and it was detected without any problems. there's no speed improvement, but it's definitely smoother and now i can run VM without any lag - win 7, win xp, win2008r2, ubuntu. if you desire speed then i suggest getting an SSD. hope this helps.

What can I say? It is RAM. I got 8 GB for my Macbook Pro on a sale Amazon had. No issues other than I now wish I had 16 GB.Crucial makes a good product. Everything can be manufactured wrong as a mistake, so do not let that surprise you if you get some bad RAM. Crucial has made a good product for a little over a decade now.

Buyers' reviews are very important to me. When investing in upgrades, price helps but not the determining factor when it comes to reliability and performance. Crucial gives one all of these and even at a few dollars more (not much), I can rely on those qualities.

I just love the price for this product. I now have a total of 16 GB's of Ram so I can utilize more resources. If you have an Asus G73JW or one of the G73 series, then you will have to take apart your whole computer just to get to the last one. Just remember, you have to have patients and precision when removing wires. Oh also a photographic memory of how all those screws came out.I would recommend testing one Memory Ram to see if it takes, if it does, then you have a green light. If it does, then do some research or call customer service. If nothing else works,then you just lucked out on a huge deal.Good luck, Joshua

Popped one of the 4GB sticks in the second slot of my new Dell Inspiron 14R to increase the memory from 4GB to 8GB. Re-ran the WEI and the score increased marginally, from 4.5 to 4.9. Ran a full memory diagnostic (Windows Memory Diagnostic, provided in Windows 7 and Vista) and it passed 2 iterations without issue. Works great and cheaper than buying it with the notebook at the time of purchase.

Dunno if I should really be giving it 5 stars, can't complain, was the cheapest 4gig stick I could find after a quick search. However, I did no research on the benchmarks, type of ramm, etc.So, what I can tell you that may be worthwhile is that it works great so far in a Dell XT2 tablet.

Purchased two of these 4GB chips for my mid-2009 MacBook Pro. They gave me the extra speed I was looking for. I haven't had any troubles with reliability yet.

I maxed out my iMac to 16GB of RAM, and I'm completely happy with this purchase. I recommend this to others who are savvy enough to install RAM on their own. Remember to always use your ESD strap as a precaution!

Took longer to get it out of package than to install in the laptop. At first I didn't think it fit but after flipping the ram (label doesn't show) it fit.System booted with new ram.

I received both of my CRUCIAL 2 X 4 GB sticks of RAM within two business days after placing my order through Amazon and J&R. Kudos to both merchants. After replacing the stock RAM (2 X 2 GB total capacity), I ran Memtest86+ Version 4.00 twice. There were no errors and the tests completed successfully. I reconfigured the size of my virtual swap file on Microsoft Windows 7 Ultimate x64 bit Edition to 4096 MB through 12,288 MB for the minimum and maximum values and rebooted my ASUS N61JV-X2 notebook PC. Again, there have been no problems with the CRUCIAL RAM upgrade whatsoever. I would recommend this product to others that use the same exact RAM for their laptops.

Solid. haven't had any issues. A cheap upgrade vs the $150 from Dell for the extra 2gb. Really Dell? $150 to go from a 2gb to a 4gb chip? Amen to this deal for about $40! And my Amazon $10 off groupon... $30 for a $150 upgrade! Booyah!

for $39 this was an excellent buy on this crucial 4gb ram. the price at the time was less then anyone, including crucial.com themselves. so far it works great. now have 2 + 2 (imac came with) + this 4gb. may get another 4gb in the future for the 4th ram slot.

I purchased two of these with the goal of doubling the memory in my new Gateway NV7802U Notebook computer.Installation was very straight-forward; no problems. Flipped the machine over, removed the battery then the memory access cover door. Removed the two 2GB SODIMMs (OEM) and inserted the two new 4GB Crucial SODIMMs. Re-installed cover, re-inserted battery and turned the compter upright, Total time, <5 minutes.Started it up and immediately pressed F2 to enter BIOS setup. Sure enough, the BIOS recognized that a total of 8GB of memory was installed. Pressed F10 to save & exit BIOS and start Windows 7.All downhill after that. To make a long story very short, Windows 7 would not start. Tried re-seating the new SODIMMs to no avail. Re-installed the two original 2GB SODIMMs and Windows 7 started right up.Reluctantly had to return the items to Amazon. They should have worked properly and I have no idea why they did not. They met all the specifications listed on the Gateway website.

Crucial is one of the largest sellers of Memory modules and this amount of memory for this price is a bargain. Make sure your specs will use this product properly. With that in mind a valuable upgrade.

I purchased one of these modules to bump up the ram on my ASUS N61JQ-X1 from 4 to 6 gigs. I process hundreds of RAW images from a Canon 5d II at a time and they take a lot of resources! I had no problem seating the module in the computer and the bios recognized the increase without any prompting. My Windows score on the ram increased 1.5 points. More importantly, everything runs fine including Adobe Lightroom 2.6 which is noticeably faster. The 21mpx RAW images can now have several custom adjustments made and exported to JPG format very quickly. The only down sides are price of the RAM and system hibernation naturally takes longer with the increase.

I picked up two of these to upgrade my Macbook Pro Core i7 Apple MacBook Pro MC373LL/A 15.4-Inch Laptop to 8GB, from the standard 4GB configuration. It is working great. The upgrade process was easy enough: remove 8 or so screws from the bottom, remove the bottom cover, pop out the two existing 2GB modules, put the new 4GB modules in, put the cover back, put the screws back.
