Not really a whole lot to say about this product. It works well! Fairly simple installation. This ram was installed on a Netbook. First time I had installed ram in a Netbook. It's a little different depending on the manufacturer but no biggie. Just one tip if you own an Acer Aspire One like I did, there is only one screw to loosen and then you have to SLIDE out the whole bottom panel. Don't just pull up on it or you'll more than likely break something. After removing the bottom panel (this is also assuming you have already removed the power cord and taken out the battery for any of you newbies to this process) you slide the two tabs retaining the ram stick out. This will allow the ram to pop up so it can be removed. Install the new one in the same order. Make sure you pay attention to which side was up when you pull it out. When I put the computer back together and went into the system folder and it had registered the upgrade. Sweet deal! Help speed up the little Netbook too! Well worth the 24 bucks I spent on it.

Do your homework before you buy any RAM! But this is a pretty safe alternative because it's so cheap. If you're using a laptop, there's about a 83% chance it'll work.Also, the maximum ram a motherboard can handle, for about 83% of laptops, tends to be 8GB, so there's no point in ever getting more than 8.Also also, 83% of laptops have *2* RAM slots. So unless you get 8GB sticks, 8GB (2x4GB) is your max anyways. Don't bother getting two 8GB sticks, because your laptop won't be able to use 16GB.This RAM memory is the cheapest and most standard memory for laptop PC's. I put 2 in mine, 1 in my friends, 1 in my friends Macbook, and 2 in another friends. Now we all have 8GB of RAM on our computers, and we're all running things a little quicker (some of my friends went from 2 or 3 to 8, I had 6 already...).As a side note: It's kind of weird that if you order two of these, they don't put two in one package. The packaging (look at the pictures) has two slots, and only one stick in it. They send you two separate sticks in their own individual packaging. Kind of a waste, but not really a deal-breaker.

I'm not sure if its a user error or if I got one that was dead on arrival, but it didn't work on the netbook I was installing it to.I was trying to install this to a Gateway LT2805u which was installed with a 1GB Single DDR3 1066 MT/s (PC3-8500) CL7 SODIMM 204-Pin and it didn't start up. Pretty much everything was the same except the capacity of the ram. It could be that the atom cpu's don't support 4GB or it could be that I got one that was dead on arrival. I wish you can submit a review without rating it with stars because I don't think this could be rated unless it worked. :\

Great quality memory. I installed it on an Acer 11.6 inch AspireOne, model AO756. It was recognized right away by the netbook and I haven't run into any problems so far. It's been about 3 months and it's still working great. Also, anyone that says (and there are a few people) that the performance enhancement on the AscpireOne is negligible with increased ram isn't telling the truth. It is definitely worth the upgrade, especially at this price.

I have never had a problem with a Crucial memory stick. They provide an on-site compatibility checker that has never failed me. This stick installed easily and was recognized automatically. It has been working great since installation. It does the job well.

Fast delivery and easy install. Installed in a ACER Aspire one 722. The computer booted and accepted the memory with no problems. That's why I buy Crucial.....never had a bad one! Can't say the same for other manufactures I've used. The computer performance is improved but not dramatically. The RAM usage stays around 30% now. Good cheap addition!

Even though it doubled the standard 2GHZ of RAM in my Acer, I saw little change in the speed of the netbook. This is probably due to the speed of the processor rather than the amount of available RAM.

I bought this on to increase my ThinkPad x201 memory capacity. I didn't had any compatibility issues and the memory is working without failures on BSoD.
