I did extensive research before purchasing the Creative Ziisound T6 (vs) Bose Cinemate GS II Series. I did live comparison between these 2 product. Both gave same sound response for High,mid and low range of songs. Watching Movies also gave same output. Bose was 250$ more than creative T6.I'm using this Audio system for past 20 day. I use to listen music and watch movies each day. Here is my finding.1. Very Deep base (knocks down my wall)2. Amazing Crisp highs.3. Loud vocals.4. Rich mids & High ranges.5. Pure wireless and Crystal clear audio output (good range, No distortion, output like wired, easy connectivity, one click connect.)6. Virtual Surrond sound works pertty good. Work good for movies. (need USB wired connection, wire is included with pack.)Really great sounding equipment from real high end companies and spend a fortune on their electronics. I'm using this system as my Home theater system.From the acoustic space, structure and skin, every element is carefully crafted together to transcend its electro-acoustical soul to become a true piece of art. Each subtle nuance is drawn out by balancing the subjective feedback of the human ears and objective equipment measurement. Ultimately this Ziisound delivers the universal sonic vocabulary of precision, accuracy and audiophile-smoothness.

For the PRICE these are selling for right now ($66) this is a very impressive little 5.1 speaker system, perfect for upgrading the speakers your computer came with. Kids will be thrilled with the sound quality while listening to music and watching movies online. I was personally NOT so impressed, but taking into consideration the price & value equation, these are a great deal! I had a 2.1 system set up in my office and was happier with their overall sound quality. I find these to be both tinny and bassy (even with the subwoofer turned all the way down). But, played at low volumes these sound really good. Played at higher volumes it becomes hard to listen to. My husband was impressed as were my kids, but I'm the family audiophile and realize the market for these speakers is NOT me, but might be a nice cheap upgrade for many others.

I expend a big amount of money for this product and my expectations where also high, however when I opened it, nothing was simple to make it work; the Bluetooth system that provably is the most attractive feature just doesn't work, I tried with the USB device included in the package and also with few other that I had at home, including my integrated BT in my laptop computers, it just did not work...

I had bought a similiar system from Creative 5 years ago. My old system finally went down. I play video games (first person shooters, mainly) and the system is quite adequate for me. The company mails promptly and pacts the item well. All in all I'm quite satisfied.

I wanted to fill my room with great sound and at a cheap price. I do appreciate great audio, but as a college student I don't often want to blow all my money on one item. I don't find that they hiss, nice and silent without audio playing. It is definitely quality goes in quality goes out with you music file choice. They have a nice thin screen over them to protect the drivers. My only complaint would be the length of the cords for the rear speakers. I do agree they are short. I picked up some dynex rca extension cables for cheap at best buy to alleviate the situation. I don't know how much more you can ask for the price. They get very loud without distorting. I didn't crank everything to full, but I did make it uncomfortable at one point. I definitely could recommend these for the audio enthusiast on a budget.Oh and it would have been nice to have a headphone port on the wired remote, but we can't have it all for this awesome price.

This is one powerful sound system! I have a TV in my room so I needed something more than TV speakers for watching movies and playing video gaming systems. This unit is perfect for it because it has a remote control! The bluetooth is something I didn't anticipate using however after hooking up the included iPod adapter I find myself listening to my music a lot more, the clarity with bluetooth is amazing and the range is awesome! My iPod can play anywhere in my house with no problem. The sound clarity it pretty amazing period; not for it's size, which is small, just great audio. It shakes my two story house! This is one of the drawbacks at the same time though; it is a bass heavy system. Sometimes I have the sub amplifier all the way down and it can dominate at times. I can't complain though because I enjoy bass. Overall, a feature packed, great sounding system that doesn't require a lot of wires!

I installed these on a new king sized canopy bed and they work GREAT! My friend has the Bose system and the highs on the Bose is a little crisper but the mids and lows are more well defined on the Zii's. It came with the iPhone wireless connector and that sounds great. I never use the remote that came with them or the hand control wheel. I just plug this into my iPhone or iPad - listen to music or watch videos. There is a slight delay in the audio for the videos - I mean super super slight. The bass is as heavy as you want it to be. Real nice setup for the money. Also - you can extend the speaker length by just getting a male / female RCA cord. I added 12 feet and they sound the exact same.

I went by a store at the mall that had this set up and it was alright.It seems a shame that this is the best Creative has these days. I bought the Audogy 2 with Inspire 7.1 surround sound speaker set up. Now THAT is rocking. I guess you just can't make any money off those high end products during a depression. A shame that because I really need a couple of small parts that came up missing on my move from Seattle to Texas. I bought my comp and had it specially built through Dell, for gaming. However, it came with bundled software which I hate. So I am glad to see that you have the cd on sale. However, since you no longer list my speakers or sound card on your site, I can't get signed in to get updates or downloads period. I would sure appreciate it if you could change that and let me know. :O) TY

I had Quad Speakers for years, finally upgraded and love the sound, perfect in my space, They rock, great for video and movies and games, the kids love them, and the price was right, shipping and all... Awesome awesome awesome!

I hooked this set of speakers with my laptop (XPS 1330) with NO problem at all, my soundcard supports 5.1 so it was as easy as plug and play.Regarding the satellite speakers, They have a fair length and should allow you to set the speakers far enough to create a surround sound environment.The Sub-woofer is deep, smooth, and clear.Lets go back and consider that we are not talking about a $300 Home-Theater.This is just a 5.1 Speaker System.I'm guessing this system carries around 50RWIt has an outstanding performance for a living room, a single bedroom apartment or your own personal room.If you live in an appartment complex, I promise you can get neighbor complaints quickly.What's not so great: The satellites can't be mounted on walls.

Just thought I'd let everyone know I have a set of Creative speakers (not these, but a different model of Creative speakers).. I think the problem some of you are experiencing with the subwoofer not working may be your sound card, and not the speakers.. I have the NNIVIA sound card, which comes with the NVMixer.. With the combination of the 2, my speaker system and bass rattle my windows in my house.. They are louder than my home stereo speakers.. Just thought I'd throw my $.02 in for those of you experiencing sound issues..

Subwoofer arrived D.O.A. "Dead On Arrival"... Volume control felt cheap, and cables could have been longer. I have been a Creative speaker customer for close to 10 years. For the first time I decided to go with Logitech for more $.

I know I didn't purchase the expensive speaker system and didn't expect it to be the best sound ever. But I did expect it to work. The Subwoofer and Center Channel do not work. I believe a short in the orange connection cord. I switched the green and orange to confirm it was not a setting in the computer or a problem with my computers connection.Anyway, I have an email sent to Creative to see how they handle the issue but it is packed back up and ready to be sent back unless Creative corrects the issue.I will follow up later on how it was handled.

Pretty good speakers for the price. I got them on sale with a coupon so it was a nice bargain. The speakers have lots of bass for such a small system. I'm currently using them with my laptop. But before you buy, make sure you know what you're in for. These speakers are 5.1 which requires a surround sound input. I didn't know and my laptop doesn't have one so I had to buy an external USB sound card. Not too bad but it was just a hassle. Oh and I don't like how flimsy the mesh covering is because I dropped one and it ripped.

I got these speakers to replace my 2.1 system. Big mistake.Don't waste your money on these speakers. The 5.1 surround sound works great, but the static is unbearable.Save up and buy yourself a better sound system.

This speaker system and the company are horrible. The system is actually a great idea but is very fragile. The speakers begin to buzz with any music on any volume. I contacted customer service. After they return my phone calls each about a week after my initial call at around midnight. After a month of back an forth, the send me a new unit. The new unit arrived, I sent my old one back. Not a week and my new unit does the same buzz. As much as I love the idea of this product Creative failed to execute the idea well.

I previously had the 5.1 system surround sound, and I really liked all the software, plus the sound quality of that system. When after 6 years it started to have problems, it was time to replace it. It no longer exited, but I spotted this system. Not one bit disappointed in it. For the price, it has all I needed to complete my sound system again. I'm very happy with it. I'm almost tempted to buy a second one so I have it for backup. So, for this price, you cannot go wrong for the sound quality it puts out.

First of all the speakers don't plug into TV's unless you have some weird TV that works for it. And the Sub wont work at all. I tried to unplug the system and plug it back in and also unplug all the speakers and nothing worked. No bass from any speaker also. Terrible

After hook up I could barely hear my subwoofer. I updated my sound card's drivers and the problem was fixed. Now everything sounds great. I just hope this speaker system will last 10 years like my last creative 5.1 system.

This thing is ridiculous... completely overlook any negative reviews. Mark my words, the sound that this "little" set produces will rival some smaller home theater loud speaker sets. I never thought a subwoofer this small could produce lows that are low enough to knock a shelf off my wall and the usb digital audio is crystal clear and believe it or not, they produce outstanding surround sound from a 2.1 set. I have heard many (if not all) good 2.1 sets... these are the best. See for yourself.

Bought these to use with Audigy Sound card in my computer, replaced an old very expensive system whose subwoofer died.....very good replacement sounds great, doesn't have the volume that old system had but has plenty. One minor short coming, the satilite speakers are hard wired & the wires on the front speakers would not reach from desk hutch to sub on floor & rear speakers were longer but not long enough. With wire hard wired to speaker only 2 solutions, cut & splice or buy RCA extensions. I bought the extensions. Speakers work great with Creative Media Source software. If needed would buy again.

I actually read the reviews AFTER having purchased these from a local retailer, and was worried about the quality of the product.Pros: Easy to set up, excellent sound quality, all speakers work with Via HD Audio Deck (I don't even have a sound card other than the on-board), classy aesthetic and when I turn these babies up for gaming, my wife complains that it's too loud! The subwoofer provides a deep, rich BOOM to my shotgun...(EDIT: switched out motherboards towards the end of 2011, the new one has Realtek HD Audio Manager on-board and this system was plug-and-play with it as well.)Cons: Absolutely none that I can find! To those who may complain about speakers not working - make sure the file/track/game you are routing through these is encoded for 5.1!!! If it's not encoded properly, you will only hear the 2.1 (front 2 + subwoofer) setup! Learn your encoding formats before blaming the product!Don't be afraid of buying these speakers.Update (Dec. 23, 2010): I have encountered intermittent issues with certain speakers not working. Unplugging the three PC hook-ups and plugging them back in fixes this, with an audible discharge of what I take to be static of some kind. Therefore I don't attribute this issue to the speakers themselves.Update (April, 2011): The speaker issue was a problem with conflicting drivers. Performance has been reliable and snag-free since the first of the year.Update (Sept, 2011): One year with no issues beyond the driver problem. Buy with confidence!Update (Sept, 2012): 2 years going strong.

I ordered this for the batter sound quality.but when i connect this with my laptop its all speakers are not working with laptop.i just wanted the surround soound but i couldn't achive this.i tried to return this but i dont want to go through all the proccess of retrn.so i kept it but i am not satisfied with it.

My experience with the T6160 has been great so far, soon after I installed I realized you would need a specific sound card to actually use all 5 sound speakers, one that supports Sound Cards, so if you don't have one of those, you can still use the amazing sub woofer and 2 speakers which will be used for the left and right.Sound Quality, pretty excellent, the base sounds great and is adjustable, if you want to listen to acoustic the fine sounds will come out too, I listen to a lot of Hardcore or R&B and this is great for mostly all genres.Setting up is weird, I feel like the wires could be longer, but I managed to make it work without that any problems, the speakers are pretty durable themselves.The appearance of the system is very stylish and sleek. The black matches in with my computer desk and such, you will have no problems with the presentation.The loudness, well don't worry about that, these things could play as loud as you want, and I don't think it's possible to blow the bass out.Enjoy man, these things are amazing for the price.

Dont buy this Zii T6 item.It disappoints me totally. (Inspire s2 wireless bluetooth is 100 times better in sound quality.)Especially sub woofer quality is too bad. No deep tight bass. No "Kick" in bass. (Prototype S2 bluetooth wireless delivers excellent woofer quality. You can dance when you play Josh music. Award winning product. Much Cheaper than Zii T6.)I returned the product 3rd day.Strong recommendation: dont waste 400$ on Zii T6 and dont disappoint. If you want to enjoy wireless music Just stick on to S2 bluetooth wireless speakers.It gives "Maza" in Music.

These speakers were purchased used. I am happy for the price I paid. I wish the center speaker was a different design. I did have to set my EQ a little different on my media player on my PC. The upper low freqs (around 2-400 hz) were causing the sub to "woof" a little. But all in all, I was looking for a deal and got one. I mainly wanted it for gaming. NOT for music quality.

I got this at Fry's for 80 bucks and it was a little hard to plug in because it has 3 head-phone jacks instead of one. one is for the fount 2 speakers and one is for the rear speakers and one for the middle speaker the amp is in the sub box and all the speakers plug into it. since my system was not broken in the mail it works great for 80 bucks its bad a** it dosent hit low notes given the sub is only 20w rms and the speakers are 5w rms but the mids and his are loud enough to make your movie sound great. I recommend this for the price.

A great speaker. I have only one complaint. The center speaker stands up just like the rest of them...to me a design flaw, as it gets in the way of the monitor--it should have been designed sideways. Other than that, the sound is great with good crisp volume and clear sound; along with easy volume control via wired remote.

I found this product is really a worth buying. I liked it very much. I suggest this product for anyone who are planning to buy speakers for very first time. It has a very good bass. You need couple of Y splitter cables for attaching all speakers and the sub woofer to your TV/Laptop/DVD player. Without the Y splitter cables you cannot enjoy the 5.1 channel.Overall its good and great purchase for the price.

Where to begin.... well, the Subwoofer would not work. That should be enough right there. But lets take a chance and say I just got a bad one... other then the subwoofer... The speakers would randomly decide not to work. I would be playing song with all 5 speakers one minute, stop the song, hit play again and only two speakers would work. When all four did work the sound was good, though there was that pesky missing bass... The power cord was too short, but the speaker wires are a decent length... oh and the speakers have no slots to mount of a wall.I would give this a 2 or 3 since there is a chance I just got a bad set, but the kicker is Creative's technical support. I tried to contact them before I decided to return it. First off I had to google search their phone number, not listed not their site. Once I did speak to someone, they were rude, condescending, and wanted to blame the problem on everyone else. They insinuated its my fault because I do not have one of their audio cards.... then they insisted its the computer manufacturers fault, then the motherboard manufactures fault. Who knows, maybe they were right about one of them, but that is not how you treat customers. This is the absolute last time I order anything made by Creative. Don't let the price or name fool you... Save yourself the trouble of repackaging this, and go with another manufacturer.

Excellent sound quality and very good for home entertainment/PC and gaming experience. If you are buying the creative speakers 5.1. You must buy creative sound blaster to enjoy the surrounding sound else all 5 speakers will not work together.Go for it :)

Great sound, amazing volume capabilities, and massive bass while still providing clear sound. Only two complaints are the bass adjustment is on the back of the subwoofer, and the soundblaster card specific plugs, but that can be easily fixed by a three-or-more way headphone splitter Belkin RockStar 5-Way 3.5-mm Headphone Splitter (White)

I bought these to show of the gaming capabilities of my new computer,the set up was fairly easy(plugg A goes into socket B). however when i started up my game the sound quality was terrible and the sub-woofer wasnt working at all. after hours of fiddiling with my computers setting to see if it was on that end i gave. the speakers simply dont work and i cant think of any conceivable set up where the rear speaker could be set up unless you sit with a desk directly behind you. all in all this is a terrible product and nobody should ever consider buying it.

Product looks and sounded great. Subwoofer stopped working on the first day, and Creative's technical support and customer service is abysmal. Returned to Amazon and bought a Logitech product.

Bought this product and was initially very happy to get a CREATIVE product. I bought these speakers along with Creative X-Fi 5.1 USB soundcard to be used with my laptop. Installation was easy but the main problem began when I could not get the subwoofer working at all... Spent almost a week researching on the problem through Creative labs support site and tried all kinds of X-Fi drivers on various OSs (Vista, XP, Win7) but no luck :(.All in all, I was happy with the satellite speaker performance but couldnt get the 100% satisfaction as I struggled a lot to make the sub working...Finally I returned this product and got Logitech X 540...and boy Logitech stuff rocks!!! :)...Easy to install and bass works great (Already got a complain from neighbors ;-))I would not reccomend this product to music / gaming enthusiasts

Right out of the box, the subwoofer didn't work. I checked around and discovered it is very common for this model to have at least one non-functioning channel. I guess even Creative can make a lemon sometimes. The best thing to come out of this experience is that I discovered just how easy it is to return merchandise to Amazon.com. Return shipping was free and they even scheduled UPS to come back out and pick up the box! The money was returned to my credit card within the week. Although I'll be sure to check for more reviews on electronics before I buy in the future, I will definitely buy from Amazon.com again.

Althought the system was easy to set up and the direction not to complicated I did find that using the wire marking stickers was useless and the rest was simple. As far as the quality of sound it's not the best, the base is weak and the quality lacking in a full sound, however at lower volumes they work good. I believe that the logitech speakers I was using before had higher quality of sound than these Creative 5.1 Speaker System.

Despite the poor reviews here, I decided to give these a try. The ones I got seem to work just fine, including during 5.1 DVD playback. I'm no huge audiophile, but everything sounds "good enough" to me.

I bought these speakers along with the Creative Labs SB1090 USB Sound Blaster X-Fi Surround 5.1They are very easy to set up, pretty much just plug and play. They are perfect for a dorm setting, which is what I use them for. The sound is crisp and clean, though if you turn the bass up it overpowers the speakers and the sound tends to spread.

This product is just plain out horrible, right after trying it out i returned it, horrible quality. Save yourself some time and buy a logitech x-540 for the same price muchh better.

Do not get this set of speakers. Sound is so poor, this is a shame for creative since I had many of their products back in the day. This speakers look cheap and the sound quality is the same. I received the package and couldn't get to work the front speakers, just the rear ones worked.
