This product arrived in SEALED packaging appeared to be new. Until I turned it on and little white hairs came out everywhere. Extremely disgusting. This was one of the must unhygienic occurrences we’ve ever experienced. In a pandemic... really? Beware!

I received this yesterday and was very pleased with the packaging, case, accessories, and ways they connect to the trimmer. I charged it, then used it for about 15 min. until it lost it's charge. When it was running, it worked fine. I charged it overnight, and this morning it had a solid green light saying it was fully charged. It ran for about 20 sec. before dying. I'm going to charge it to full charge one more time before I return it. The worst thing is that it must be run off battery power. If I could have run it off the plug as a corded trimmer, I may have kept it.

UPDATE: I tried another full charge, and it ran down in about 20 sec. I returned it to Kohls, and using the 25% off coupon for doing an Amazon return with them, I bought a Phillips Norelco Multi-Groom All-In-One Trimmer 5000 for half the price. It isn't as nice or well made as the Braun, but has all the same basic features and will run while charging with the cord plugged in.

I was so excited to get this as I already had a Braun wet/dry razor that I’ve used for years with zero complaints. This started out in the same fashion and true to the great Braun design. Sadly after six months the battery clearly began to fail. It began with maybe getting two uses before recharge but quickly fell to an audible speed change and flashing red light after a few minutes of use. Very frustrating! Since you cannot use it while plugged in your options are reduced to maybe a quick trim. I am so disappointed with Braun. Walter Gropius would roll in his grave to see that the once embraced principles of simplicity in design and function with an emphasis on first quality are lost with Braun. This is truly an example of from Bauhaus to the outhouse. Do not waste your money.

Very disappointed in this product. Shave quality is poor and honestly takes me 2-3 times as long to complete a very so so looking shave in the time it used to take me using a similar product @ 1/3 the cost of this item. Because of the initial shave being so poor, I also find myself having to shave daily where as I could sneak every other day or so with a proper trim.

Im just sad its too late to get a refund on this item. The risk you assume trying a new brand I guess? Ive had a Braun brand electric shaver that was good. These trimmers however, belong in the garbage and or should be sold at half the price

The upside of the dull blade/poor shave is I have never accidentally knicked myself while using with no guard. more than I can say for wahl. HA!

It is true, it comes with SHAVIN CREAM in some attachments. I did not believe some of the comments and decided to buy it. Please do not make the same mistake! It is true. As soon as I started using the shaving attachment there was a white foamy substance inside. At first I thought it was some kind of oil so I cleaned it and used the second shaving attachment... same thing, which is when I realized other comments were true!
Absolutely disgusting! These days with viruses that survive on surfaces for long time going around and you are selling used stuff that you do not even clean! I got it for my 85 year old father so I did not have to take him to a barber shop for a long time. Reckless to sell the item in this condition!

I use this trimmer to keep the length of my beard uniform. The problem is that the attachment "comb," which determines the length, slips. So I have it set at "5" to start, and at some point, it's slips to a "3," cutting my beard too short. It's happened more than once, so I'm giving up on this.

This Braun clipper is exactly what I've been looking for. Previously I used an older, corded Wahl clipper set. But, I hated being tethered to the wall by the cord. And I hate having to keep all of the different sized guards and search for the desired length. So, I thought I'd go cordless. I tried a few other brands first, but returned them promptly as they were ineffective (The cheaper norelco clippers in particular caused me to go over and over and over the same body part, with minimal hair trimming). This clipper set has an adjustable guard (only ONE guard to keep!) which I use all over. The heads are easily detachable as needed. The included case is VERY nice! Though I don't have an exact time, the clipper seems to hold the charge for a long time. I use it several times before charging. And, I charge it not because the battery died, but to prevent it from dying on me... so, I don't really know how long the charge actually would last. The build quality seems pretty robust at this price point. I am very happy with this body groomer.

Disgusting. I bought this against my better judgement because I figured the other reviews I saw about hair being on the product were just a fluke. But sure enough, unpackaged the box and immediately found shaving cream under one attachment and hair on another. How has the seller not been flagged?

When I opened the travel case that the product come in, the first thing I saw was hair all over the machine and the components.
It was super disgusting and unsanitary.

I bought this to cut a child’s hair during COVID times. They are advertised for beard and head cutting. It actually did a pretty good job considering the skill level of the operator. They seem to be more geared toward cutting and trimming beards but it does work pretty well for haircuts.

The blade was sharp and cut without hesitation. Different size guards and at least the large one is adjustable by a small amount.

The battery held out for the duration, I’d say 30-40 minutes but started sounding like it was slowing down.

Again, for the price and what I needed it for, these worked great. I wouldn’t recommend it for cutting head hair on a regular basis.

Do not but this trimmer if you want to keep your beard or mustache at a certain length, which in my mind is one of the most important things a trimmer should perform well at. The trimmer guards that come with this one however are only kept in place to be at a certain length by these chintzy plastic nubs sticking out of the back of the trimmer AND the gray button on the back of the guards is right in the same spot you would naturally rest your finger while holding the trimmer while shaving. This is also not to mention that the guards do not "lock" very well onto those plastic nubs, so even when only applying a little bit of pressure to the trimmer on your face while shaving, the guard can slip. This ended up destroying my beard because while shaving at a 9, unknowingly the guard slipped to a 3 and I lost all my length in one pass across my neck to chin to bottom of my mouth... I wish I had known about this severe design flaw before purchasing this trimmer and literally NEVER write reviews for products, but figured I'd try and save someone else from losing their beard as I did because of this shoddy design.

I don't know if they erred too much on the side of safety or what but this thing is just barely effective for trimming hairs. Might as well just put your phone on vibrate and hold it up to your ear; it will accomplish roughly as much. Very disappointing for a brand like Braun I previously had a lot of respect for. I'll give it a few days and see if my mind changes but this is probably getting returned.

Muy triste sinceramente, creo que es una asesina... para cortar el cuerpo es lo peor, te hace cortes horribles (arranca la piel) muy decepcionado con este producto... si llegas a leer este comentario por favor enserio no la compres si quiere usar para corte de cuerpo es una basura literalmente... es muy pero muy bonita, el bolso, las piezas todo... pero es un engano en la poción de corte para el cuerpo y ni se te ocurra pasar por las partes íntima porq te puede hacer un corte peligroso...

I have used Braun in the past but got away from them due to price. I switched to Norelco for a while and then it seemed like their quality took a nosedive. They were failing quickly after purchase. I them switched to Phillips. The blades on their electric trimmers get dull really fast.

So, I am back to Braun. I really like this unit. It gives you just about everything you need. You can trim you beard down to stubble or leave it quite full. I love the screen razor head they include in this set. The nose trimmer is also a plus.

I have tested the run time and it exceeds 60 minutes. I did not try to see how long it would run before shutting off.

I never should have left Braun. When this one dies, it will be another Braun.

I've been using the same Braun beard trimmer for almost 10 years, but never upgraded bc it 'worked fine.' Awhile back I decided to invest in a more expensive trimmer from some Instagram brand - immediately returned it and went back to my trusty Braun because the clip simply snapped on top in a way that caught and tugged the hair instead of cutting it. I upgraded to this one because the clips are v-shaped over the cutter, so no tugging. The bare clipper is sensitive enough to run flipped over, directly on my neck to get almost as good as a clean shave, without the razor burn. The extra attachments like the nose hair and body trimmer are a nice add-on for the price.

This brand is one I trusted from prior purchases. However, this nose trimmer is disappointing. Just doesn't seem to clip off the nose and ear hair as well. For some reason, it just doesn't pick up the hair. Because it is an inexpensive item, I won't bother returning it. But did want to give my review for the benefit of those who might be considering purchasing it. Again, it just doesn't trim very well. Leaves a lot of hair uncut.

I don't have much experience with hair trimmers, but I recently buzzed my hair because that's what all mentally sound people do when they feel like their life is going in a direction that's out of their control. I have...had a lot of hair, like we're talking so thick it took almost two hours to blow dry. Couple hours and this bad boy got it all off for me. It was a little messy in some spots, but that was probably my fault. Don't know what I'm gonna do with all the bits since I don't have a beard, but this thing works and it was wireless so that was helpful.

I had read the reviews about some customers receiving a used item. I was hoping the issue was fixed but it doesn’t appear to be. I found shaving cream and hair in two of the attachments. The bag itself arrived not completely zipped closed and the box had some weird sticky stuff on the outside. Disappointed because this was a gift...

Since getting out of the military, I've been looking for a good beard trimming product to use on my new beard. Saw this kit and thought it would be a good option for me. I love it. It is extremely easy to use and the different attachments are helpful for getting my beard to look they way I want it to. So far the battery life has been fine. Travel case has a hard exterior and is very high quality. Might be a little big for a travel bag, but there is an extra pouch inside that you could fit some extra toiletries so you don't need to use two travel bags. Overall, this is a great product and I am very happy with this purchase.

Was looking for a trimmer that had accessories and could handle a thick beard. This is doing well. I love the multiple attachments and carrying case. It's easy to hold and is effortless. The only draw back is I wish it was a little more powerful, I went to trim off 3 months of growth and it took a little bit to cut it all off. The trimmer would get bogged down sometimes. But I do like this verses the others I have had.

Generally, I like Braun products. I've had a 5-series for 12 years and its still running strong. So, I was extremely disappointed with this grooming kit. Its motor is embarrassingly weak. Consequently, I'm back to using my 5-series to trimming my new-look beard and using my 15-year-old Wahl clippers for my son's fine hair. On top of it all, it take 8+ hours to charge just to get 45 minutes of weak performance. Buy a different grooming kit.

Not at all what I was hoping for. It clogs with every swipe and build up underneath the blades. You have to take it apart nearly every time to clean it. I have short hairs all over me from trying to blow the clippers off, trying to cut my husbands hair. The guards don’t stay put so he has bald spots where there should have been a 7. I ended up just buzzing the whole thing off. Now he looks like he’s either in boot camp or on chemo. Not happy. Good thing his hair grows fast. I Wish I could get my money back.

Product is a disappointment. Advertised as suitable for hair styling, but really only adequate for shorter, finer hair. With the adjustable guard in place the blades thin the hair rather than reduce length. The guard is flimsy and not precise. The cutting head needs to be cleaned on every pass. The battery only lasted no more than 8-10 minutes, not 60 minutes as advertised. Maybe I'm expecting performance from a more expensive product, but don't waste your money on this one.

I got this so I could cut my own hair while all of the barber shops were closed during the pandemic. Found it hard to use on myself, but my wife does a good job using it to give me my bi-monthly buzz cut, it's already paid for itself with the money I saved by not going to a barber now that they're open again. I told my wife that we could save even more money if she let me cut her hair with it but she didn't seem to be very excited by that prospect. Well, to each their own.

I really liked this trimmer at first, but after a year and a half of use it no longer holds a charge. The battery warped the plastic casting it is held in. Braun does not sell replacement batteries. There are after market batteries, but Braun solders the battery to the circuit board. This product is not made to last and made not to be serviceable.

The unit looks sleek and fits well in my hand. It's very convenient to use in the shower to trim my beard, and the clean up is so much easier that way. Those things are nice, but kind of useless when the beard guard tends to slip down the razor of it's own accord. The locking mechanism on the guard is absolutely insufficient. It's only been by luck that I haven't accidentally shaved off a section of my beard. I cannot recommend this model.

Not the best hair clippers I've used. It seems like I have to make more passes over the areas to clip all the hair off. IMPORTANT!! Be very careful with the numbers on the clipper attachments!!! Their number 2 is not the standard #2 attachment!!!! A standard number 2 is a quarter of an inch. This is 2mm. Huge difference! You need to use their 5 or 7.

I do like that they have a huge range of clipper settings, really nice for precise lengths.

This groomer is excellent for trimming the face and head, but around sensitive areas like the armpits or groin, you are going to take some damage with this foil attachment. There is no mercy on those parts. Even if you move slowly and keep from nicking yourself, you will feel the razor burn when you are done. However, for everything else it is solid.

This nose hair trimmer works okay. But it needs to be updated to be honest. I love Braun products, but this trimmer needs to be improved. The motor needs to be more powerful and the cutting blade doesn't go all the way up to the top of the cutting head like my old trimmer did. It DOES work, it gets the job done. But it's nothing to write home about unfortunately. Compared to my other Braun products this trimmer Doesn't stand up to my expectations.

This is great for shaving, but I tried to cut my own hair with this due to the pandemic, that was less great. The thing is nice for maybe a military-style hair cut, but anything more complex it’s not suitable for. The adjustable clipper is especially annoying because it is only lacked in the shorter-direction, but it can just switch to a longer setting without you noticing or even come off completely; not a great design.

There are a lot of options in the trimmer category. I looked at a bunch and had to resist the aggressive lawnmower marketing. Any product spending that much on marketing is sus and the reviews were bad. I settled on Braun because my parents had a Braun coffee grinder when I was a kid and that thing lasted forever.

So far I've been happy. It comes with a ton of attachments which give you options for a wide range of trimming. Head hair, neck hair, nose hair, chest hair, pubes - there is an attachment for that. Battery life is short, basically 30 minutes, so you have to charge it after an extended session. I love the case that it comes with.

Perfect quality product and with much needed “edge”. Grip is great , easy to clean and simpler to release or insert attachments !

Earlier products I used were making me feel the need to pressurize while doing beard , clean thoroughly before next use and then the battery 🔋 charge issue !!!

To add - it comes with a compact quality travel bag.( picture attached )

So far great performance ! Highly recommended.

I used this to trim my goatee, mustache and shave today, ABSOLUTELY fantastic! The guides give you the ability to adjust exactly how long you want your whiskers to be! Brilliant! Every other trimmer only has two small options for trimming, this one have 5 or 6 just on one comb! Not to mention that many on two other combs for hair cuts!
I wish I would have purchased this years ago!

When you use the adapters, the hair gets stuck and you have to keep cleaning it to get a smooth cut. Also, the sizes on the adapter change by themselves so you have an inconsistent length. I wanted to return it but it was after the return date because I didn't try the clippers until 2 months after I bought it. Make sure you test them right away if you buy them but I don't recommend you do.

This trimmer worked well, but stopped working after about 3 months of use. It started to quit intermittently after about 1 month, but lasted another 60 days or so before completely dying. Tried several other batteries with no luck! I don't recommend this product!

Very handy. Instructions don't say, but you need to oil the parts with light machine oil before the first use. I didn't, and one of the clippers got very hot. After oiling, all was OK. Blades are sharp; take care!

Thos is the man-scape lit you need, the one trimmer works with no bleeding. Shaver on face you will have to shave a little slower than say Remington or it will pull hair sometimes but does a good job. Batter life is not greatest but it is very light weight so that's a plus.

After reading many reviews, decided on this Braun to replace my old trimmer. Love their shavers so giving this a chance. Out of the box seems like a quality product. Love the hard case for travel, really like that as and extra, most have no case or a cheap baggie. After some brief uses, no complaints so far. It works as expected.

Product was good while it worked, however after two uses the Detail Trimmer Attachment broke in half and now can't be used. This was my favourite part of the device and now I won;'t be using it much. Not happy
