Buy a different one
The trimmer is excellent, when it works. After 2-3 months it would no longer adjust, which makes it worthless and a waste of money.

Worst battery
I love this trimmer, it has always been my go-to favorite. However, the battery quality has gone down considerably. Mine is only about 6 months old and it doesn't hold a charge past 3 minutes of use. I've had a few of these Braun ones recently and they've all had battery issues that doesn't make it worth it to buy it anymore. Sorry!

THE ITEM DID NOT WORK AFTER HOURS OF CHARGING
I HAVE REQUESTED A REFUND WHICH I STILL HAVEN'T RECEIVED AFTER I RETURNED THE ITEM LAST MONTH?????

Stopped working after two months
Only have had this for two months and maybe six facial hair trims and it stopped working. What a waste of money. I loved it at first-- stylish, love the lime green color with the black. But given it stopped working after just about six uses, wow.

Will not charge - worthless
I wish I had seen the reviews before I bought the shaver. Just like many others have stated, the shaver will not charge. I tried outlets in 3 different rooms and it would not charge from any of them. The shaver is a waste, luckily it was fairly cheap. I guess the old adage that you get what you pay for certainly applies in this case.

I thought I bought a NEW beard trimmer
This is the second item that I receive that had been obviously used. The first was a vacuum which can be slightly overlooked. When ordering personal care and hygiene items like the beard trimmer. I would really hope there is more quality control in just shipping out returned goods. Terrible practices going on here.

Actually Scratched My Face
I bought the MUCH nicer Hatteker Hair Clipper https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07PYTGL23 for twice the price. I could just swing that thing at any angle, and pressure, not giving a thought. Beard came out even. No problems. Except I dropped it 7 feet and it broke (my fault).
So I thought I would go cheap (I don't need the battery or 24 attachments) and get this razor. I attacked my beard using upward strokes on the longest setting. I settled on a medium length setting. I pressed with the same pressure as the Hatteker. The device scratched my skin after the third stroke. Even my lip was torn a little. One side of my beard faces one way, another part faces another way. Good riddance.
I can't wait for my deliver of anew Hatteker.

Decent, inexpensive trimmer (but not perfect)
Overall, I am a fan of all things Braun and own a number of their products.
This BT3221 is a decent trimmer -- inexpensive and easy to use, but not perfect.
I love the rotary length setting feature -- it goes from 1mm to 10mm in 0.5mm increments.
However, the longest setting is 10mm (#3 or ~3/8" in blade parlance) -- so you'll need to look elsewhere if you want longer.
Another nit is that the charging cord light stays green even when fully charged.
Can't comment yet on the charge duration -- but the manual says a full charge is good for 50 minutes of cordless operation (n.b., trimmer does not operate while plugged in).

Pros:
- Adjustable clipper length.
- Perfect size
- Decent battery
- Price
Cons
- The clip attachment is really uncomfortable if you apply the wrong angle.
- The clipper doesn't cut beard hair well. It takes several more strokes when compared to traditional clippers.
Overall, I wouldn't recommend for those who have thicker hair like myself. Wetting down your beard will be necessary in order for the clippers to work half way decently. I'll be keeping them for traveling, but will definitely stick to my Remington clippers for home use.

Mine did not work the best
Mine did not hold a charge after being charged . It would be dead in a week without use. When it was charged it would seem to bog down some when trimming and I do not have a thick beard. Amazon returned with no problem.

Does not accept charge thus does NOT work
Ordered first one: did not accept charge and would not turn on even after the 10 hours of recommended initial charge time. Did the Amazon replacement thingy: second beard trimmer again would not charge or turn on after the 10 hour initial charge time. Gonna return both and order some other beard trimmer just not a Braun item. Figure 2 defective units in a row is a massive slam on the QC process on Braun. Junk.

DONT BUY
As many have stated already the product does not charge and I never got to use it once to be able to actually review it. So unfortunately it gets a 1 star rating. I got this item because it had a great average review and unfortunately did not actually take the time to read the recent reviews but hopefully these reviews will change the average.

I threw money in the trash when I bought this P.O.S. Let me start from the bottom, the Amazon box it showed up in was fine, didn't get damaged in shipping. Open the box to find out the product packaging looks like someone stepped on it. All taped back together like it came out of a damaged pile of chain store. Couldn't even bother to straighten it out a little and at leave TRY to hide it?? No manual, no brush, no comb. Nope just a trimmer and charger in there. I was hopeful but it won't even work after an hour on the charger. Never even got to turn it on. Garbage. Sure hope that 100 percent money back guarantee is legit which as of now, I'm not thinking it is. DON'T BUY

wont work while charging
Love the adjustable length attachment. However, this will not work while it is plugged in and charging. Batteries on these things are always pretty terrible so I usually just use it while it is plugged in. Not an option with this. If it goes dead on you halfway through you can't just plug it in and continue. You half to wait till it is charged then continue, which is pretty inconvenient.

Nice design, but power button barely works.
Usually love Braun products, been my razor of choice for decades, but this was a big miss. Literally takes 2 hands to get the power switch to go on and it can take extreme efforts at time to get it to work. Sometimes I just give up. Makes me wonder if it may of been a counterfeit or refurb.

Great trimmer, awesome value.
This is much better than alternatives that come with all the combs. The dial makes it easy to adjust for most beard lengths and unlike the highly rated Wahl I tried and sent back, this one doesn’t sound like a buzz saw and doesn’t pull or pinch.

It works... barely.
It works, but it takes a couple dozen passes over the same spot to trim it. Also has a bad habit of ripping hair out from time to time.
