No sirve para grabar grupos/bandas en vivo
al grabar un concierto se satura el microfono y se escucha mal, no lo digo como un mal comentario solo lo comparto por si alguien tenia la inquietud de comprarlo para ese fin no les servira, para una entrevista o algo parecido esta perfecto pero para grabar bandas en vivo definitivamente no me funciono

Faulty product. Does not work with phone.
And even worse than in built dslr mic.
This mic is good on Youtube reviews, so my guess is that seller shipped a bad product.
It was not even sealed.

I used this mic for an year so I feel I'm most eligible to write a proper review.
1. The product looks good.
2. There is no noise cancellation going on.
3. Mic audio quality is better than my DSLR built-in mic setup but definitely not the best.
4. The wire quality looks bad but it does the job.
5. The mic stopped working all of a sudden 🤦.
I really don't understand the problem here. I use mic regularly because i make youtube videos but recently the mic stopped working for no reason. I handle all my camera gears very carefully i have separate big camera bags dedicated for my camera gear and i keep my mic in that bag as well. But the mic was not in contact with water neither it got dropped on floor it just stopped working just like that. The worst part is you can't break open and see what's broken inside the mic to fix it.
CONCLUSION:
Even though it's cheep and affordable don't go for it not the best out there wait and invest your money in something better like RODE mic.

The best alternative for expensive mics. Has a great frequency response especially when connected to an external audio recording device. Great for video creators film makers on a budget.

Very good for its price. It's quite directional, sensitive and the response is quite good. For its price it is eminently very good and at least better than the Saramonic mic which costs three times more and hardly delivers a half of what Boya delivers. I hope Boya will soon bring out a directional condenser mic for mobile phones which will be better than this one and for that cost somewhat more. I hope they listen to this old enthusiast.

Please do not buy this product. Before purchasing i watched review on youtube, read comments and thought that product is 4 star, So it may be good and bought this garbage. You will lose your money. A simple Rs. 150 clip mic is better than this Boya MM-1.
As my clip mic was internay damaged and record only stero audio and not mono. Therefore i boughg this.
You won't believe my damaged clip mic which i locally bought for 150 is better background noise reducer than this garbage Boya MM-1.
And one more thing 1st i bought it and then i make it replace as i thought the 1sf product may be internally defective.
Then on replacement then 2nd product is also same.
I don't know what is the work of mic. Noise reduction is main work. But this boya mm1 can't do this. Isse na ho payega.
So please don't waste your money it is complete garbage.

"Lo barato sale caro"
Después de 3 meses de usarlo 4 o cinco ocaciones para mi videoblog se escucha un ruido muy molesto y estropeo el tiempo que inverti en mis últimos videos. Estoy muy arrepentido de comprarlo solo por ahorrarme 700 pesos en un Rode. Opinion después de esta experiencia: No gastes tu dinero en algo barato.

Estaba entre el rode y este y despues de analizar las tan pequeñas diferencias de calidad de audio decidi optar por este que es mas barato y la verdad me gusto mucho, la calidad de los materiales son excelentes y el audio es mucho mejor que el de mi camara canon 80d ademas que me da el plus de grabar en exterior sin tener problemas del viento.. llego un dia antes de lo previsto y llego en excelente estado la caja, voy a comprar otro para mi segunda camara

Excelente micrófono de batalla
Tenía mis dudas respecto a este micrófono ya que lo requiero para hacer transmisiones en vivo desde mi teléfono celular. Mi principal preocupación era que captara el sonido local en auditorios de manera limpia y que lo hiciera en estéreo. Cumplió con mis expectativas. Es mucho más económico que otros equipos y no les pide nada. Si tu objetivo no es hacer algo tan profesional, este micrófono cumple muy bien.

Recibes lo que compras a ese precio
El microfono mejora sin duda a los originales de los equipos, pero no esperes gran calidad, recibes exactamente lo que pagaste. No lo volvería a comprar y creo si mejor invertir en algo de mayor calidad.

Increíble!!
Llegó antes de tiempo y muy bien empacado. Su calidad es increíble! Tuve que filmar en un evento de año nuevo, y aunque tenían la música a todo, aún así el sonido jamás se distorsiono! Tiene una excelente claridad y lo recomiendo ampliamente!.

Mala inversión
Lo utilize apenas este sábado en una recepción y desgraciadamente los bajos de la música distorsionan los demás sonidos, solo retumba y se pierde la calidad del audio. Estoy decepcionado porque trate de devolverlo pero el plazo termino el 20 de marzo Mala inversión

Se satura con musica a alto volumen.
No es lo que esperaba, en cuanto a materiales se ve bastante bien pero el funcionamiento es pesimo, se satura y es precisamente lo que no queria. Lo necesitaba para grabar eventos donde hay musica algo fuerte y no sirve para eso. Ya comense mi devolucion.

Muy recomendado
Excelente producto! No tiene la calidad al 100 de uno profesional pero mejora por mucho la calidad del micrófono integrado de la cámara. Lo recomiendo bastante.
