Works well. Easy to use and understand. It only attaches to the wall using putty that it comes with. Suction cups would have been nice. But still works great.

Pretty much just paid for itself in a single session laying laminate floor. Was ideal for checking and aligning the boards across a very wide room. Only gripes, it is quite a big object and it would be great if you could also project the lasers the opposite way so you can project from the inside of a corner rather than the outside.

I like it for it's designed function as far as the laser thing goes. I'm not so impressed by the quality. I have a lot of Bosch tools that I love, they all feel great and have a sound and look of quality. This is a bit too cheap feeling, I'd be afraid to drop it. It also came with some sticky-tack stuff that I guess I'm to use when I put the device on the wall. Haven't done it yet, but I don't expect it will work. The design of that seems less thought out. It is also much bigger than it needs to be in my opinion, it takes up way too much space in my toolbox. Overall, it gives me the square I'm looking for, and I have no doubt it will last. I just wish it was a bit more rugged and smaller.

I am a big fan of Bosch tools and own a number of their products including two of their self leveling cross line lasers. To me Bosch stands for quality and performance so when I ordered this laser square I had high expectations. I was seriously disappointed when I powered it on. There are two big problems, first the laser lines are faint and hard to see in standard room lighting. Second the lasers are not square. Not only are they not square to each other but they are not even parallel to the reference edge of the tool. It's about 1/8" out at 2 feet so this is not a trivial amount. I've attached two photos that show the problem. I would not recommend this tool, I returned mine.

Shoots two perpendicular laser beams of light along whatever surface you use it on. It has two bubble levels to ensure your beam is level e.g. On a wall. It comes with a sticky putty that can be placed on the rear so you can temporarily stick this thing to the wall if you are working alone. It's also very rugged...exactly what you would expect from a Bosch product.

Wow. I've read the other reviews, they are insufficient. Tools are not magic instruments, If you know what you are doing and use it for which it was intended, it is terrific. The stick it on the wall removable clay is a bit of sales hype, but you really do not need that gimmick. It just makes it "easy" for the occasional DIYer.
I've used it to remodel my kitchen: backsplash, cabinets, tile floor, appliances, counter tops. Everything is true to square. Trust me on this, it is very subtle to the eye, but truly square makes all the small details pop.

This is a decent laser square to have around. Not good for well lit rooms or long distance...also the laser is easily blocked. If you put a tile in its path it will end there...it will not shoot over. I will still use this here and there and it's decent for what it is and what it costs. I ordered the pls square a few weeks after having this one..and it is much better all around..its also 5x as much money. May end up using this one around the house more than anything. Not a bad laser just not professional grade.

I originally bought this Laser Square as an aid for aligning an automobile front recognition camera system, and quickly realized what a versatile tool this is. Install the batteries, turn it on, and you will see how many applications you can come up with. This is a very good, sturdy, all around laser to have, very intuitive to use, even if all you do is hanging pictures on the wall, and the price is reasonable. Besides having utilized it for some high tech applications, I have used it for hanging decorations on the wall, aligning seats & tables, and writing straight on blank paper (yes, it is that versatile). In my opinion, it is a must have item in any tool kit.

This tool has came in handy for laying large format porcelain tile in our bathrooms. The thinset covers chalk lines drawn on the floor so this laser line is quite useful in that regard. This tool was well worth the price I paid for it.

My son bought a new home, 310K, ripped out all the carpet and old tile. Wanted my help to put down 1200 feet of new tile. "NOT WITHOUT A NEW LASER"! I bought this one and not a moment of regret. 30+ feet of beam, easy and it hits the front of each spacer many feet away as well as the cement between the tiles along the way. Perfect 90º and we were able to match seams between rooms with doors on two walls opening to halls and the kitchen within a fraction of an inch. Well worth the price of admission. Now if it just came with knee pads ';-)

Great in low light, a little harder to see when it bright. I did layout a difficult herringbone pattern for them kitchen with 6x24 tiles. This did help me keep the center row center.
I would have rated higher is the laser was more powerful.

The only downside is that the adhesive provided is inadequate to hold the level to a wall for any period of time. However, two holes can be drilled in the corners to provide a spot to screw the unit to the wall if you'd like. Screwing it to the wall would be helpful when tiling or attaching wood moldings. Works wonderfully to align art work or curtains. Definitely better suited for smaller scale projects or when not requiring a constant level line for long periods of time.

This will work for a DIY who will use it for a project or two and then give it a home in a drawer, not the quality of design I expect from Bosch. They provide a small amount of goo to attach to wall etc. no edge like a speed square has to hang it on a ledge, such as a set tile. If your purpose is to lay it on a floor to square tile then it will work for you otherwise keep looking. I'm returning mine.

nice laser level. i thought it was cheap or defective when i first used it because it was very dim, but i was using some rechargable batteries that didnt have enough juice. switched to regular AA batteries and it was very bright!

I found it to be useless. The beam is not bright enough to see on the floor at 20 feet away and you can not get close enough to walls etc. If you just want to check for square it may be fine but you cannot lay out your project using this.

It works as advertised, but has specific uses. While it seems pretty accurate, I think that it is marginally better that a straight edge and a chalk line. The issue with using it in a vertical position, is that it is only as accurate as the bubble levels. When I used it on a wall, I lined it up with a 48" level first.
I have used this to build an 8' row of supports for lumber storage. I used a straight piece of lumber first to line up the frame, and checked it with the laser square.
This is a nice-to-have tool, but it will not replace a good 4' level and accurate speed square.

kinda works. sometimes square depend on leveling which is a pain. have yet to find it worth any money other to impress the customer. Normal squaring techniques work much better.if you dont know how to square buy it, if you know what your doing dont bother

Very good tool I recommend this for both simple home jobs and professional builders ....great for indoors a bit dim when applied to outdoor projects. ..However it can be used for outdoor projects where the natural sun light isn't to bright or in the shade. ...very accurate ...yes buy it

I use this to square up my quilts. Before I had this, I struggled to get my quilts squared and it would take hours, with this tool I am done in an hour or less, and that includes laying the top out, smoothing it, & cutting it square! 1 hour😄

Love this! Exactly what I was looking for to layout tile lines. The laser was easy to see 30ft across the room, and goes up ~5” on the wall. Perfect. Money well spent.

I had one job, critical enough to justify the expense, that I needed this tool for. It worked perfectly. With that experience I've since found countless projects to use it for. My only complaint is that the laser beams aren't bright enough in full daylight. Then again there are ways around this problem, and the unit didn't break the bank.

i used this to hang some wall art consisting of 8 pictures arranged in a square. This worked great to line them all up and keep them level. It comes with some putty that holds it to the wall. The putty comes of easily and leaves no marks.

Great for tiling, hanging cabinets, marking studs - really any project that requires straight lines over a short distance this laser square comes in handy. I have used it outside in bright sun at distances of 12 to 15 feet without any problems. Beyond that, regardless of sunlight, the laser line starts to fade and "fatten". By fatten I mean your line precision starts to widen from about a 32nd to a 24th or more the farther out you go.

Used while building false flooring inside the crawl space. Bright enough laser was very helpful to line up the screw holes on top of plywood flooring over 2X4, 4X4 support pieces underneath. I will follow others' suggestion to remove batteries during long-term non-usage period to prevent terminal corrosion.

Excelente producto, un nivel muy útil para aplicaciones donde se requiere cuadrar.
Me gustó mucho que se pueda verificar el nivel por medio de las burbujas y además que arroje como referencia un haz de luz láser muy nítido y que permite sin ningún problema alinear los elementos que se requieran.
