Bosch GBH18V-26DK15 18V Brushless SDS-plus Hammerdrill
This Bosch cordless SDS-plus hammer drill is a well made product that provides a tremendous price to performance value. There are a ton of tools that use this battery system so you can build your cordless tool set around this platform as your needs require. Relatively lightweight, this drill provides plenty of punch and will drill up to 1/2" holes all day long. May struggle a bit with larger holes on a production basis, but is capable none the less. The D handle provides ergonomic benefits for some types of drilling and chipping over a traditional pistol grip drill. Comfortable to use for long periods. I would absolutely suggest purchasing a 2nd battery and it's nice that Bosch offers both a 4.0 & 8.0Ah batteries. Please realize that this is an SDS-plus drill and as such does not accept standard drill bits that you would use in a traditional Jacobs chuck drill. It requires special SDS-plus drill bits. We put this to use right away drilling holes for 1/2 Red Heads for a railing installation in concrete that was about a year old. With a new bit, it took about 15 seconds to drill each hole to 3" deep. We were able to drill all 30 holes on one charge of the included 4.0Ah battery. Looking forward to adding more tools on this platform. A great value.

What a disappointment...
I purchased this as the "Made in India" label was displayed in the listing photographs.
But now-a-days, buying Bosch tools are becomming a hit-or-miss. This was a decided miss, making me wonder if a "Made in China" DeWalt would have been better choice.
The box was torn, the tool did NOT have a pleasent smell out of the box (it was stinking). The tool itself was DIRTY and grimy (was it used previously in a slum environment?). The casing screws were loose. The plastic casing moves even when fully tightened.
For a low-powered, entry level tool (home, DIY buyers), not even a cut-off wheel or grinding disc was included.
I should consider looooooonnng and haaaaaarrd before buying another Bosch tool. A few years back "Bosch" was a default choice. NOT anymore!
EDIT: Did anyone mention the plug? It LOOKS like an European (German) 2 pin plug, but the pins and the pitch are the wrong dimensions, meaning, it will not fit in a proper German socket. It will, however, fit an Indian socket comfortably... I would never have expected BOSCH of all manufacturers to add to the plug/ socket confusion, but they did.
EDIT 2: In this day and age, the wheel guard is attached to the tool with a FLAT head screw! Really Bosch, haven't you heard of Torx or at least socket head (hex) or Philips head screws? I can never understand Bosch-India's fetish for straight head screws/ bolts.
EDIT 3: After using this grinder several times, I truly regret buying it instead of the Dewalt.
EDIT 4: I opened the gearbox and the bevel gears were BONE DRY. Not a whiff of grease. No wonder it was getting hot almost instantly on switching on. This your thing Bosch?

Performs better than expected - good sturdy tool
My husband was very happy when we received this rotary hammer kit from Bosch. We've got an ever increasing list of home improvement products and this is one tool we didn't have yet. One thing we've been putting off is putting handrail around the staircase in our garage since it requires drilling into concrete to anchor the metal railing.
This rotary hammer from Bosch has allowed my husband to complete this project without having to hire help. It had more than enough power to make the job relatively quick and easy. He said that he actually felt that it had just as much, if not more power, than a typical corded rotary hammer.
Just as you'd expect with any cordless power tool, regardless of brand, it's frustrating how expensive batteries are. So it's extremely nice that this particular tool comes with one included in the price. It also comes with a nice hard shell carry case that makes storing and moving it easy and convenient.
If you've got projects on your list that are going to require a rotary hammer, this particular one seems to be a fantastic choice. I think it would also make a fantastic gift, especially since it comes with a nice carry case and a battery.

Jackhammer not hammer gun
When I placed the order for this item, I thought I was getting a handheld hammer him (mail gun) not a handheld jackhammer. How did I miss that part of information when I was reading about the product, I don't kmow, but I did...
Because I not my husband have a need for such an item as this, I have given it to a friend of my husband's, who works in construction. He was very grateful for the wonderful gift, and said it was marvelous and helping to break up cinder blocks, and would, on his part rate it at 4.5 stars. On my part, I'm rating it at 3 stars.

Excellent choice
If you compare the price with local markets,i got it @2000/-,packaging was good & quality too. Original Bosch grinder. I'll give 5 🌟. And else for the tool kits you won't get the disk cutter(i don't know what it's called)u need to purchase that..

Holy cow! This works great!
I am an avid DIY'er with a fully-equipped workshop, but I admit that this is the first hammer drill I've ever used, so I can't compare it to others... but this thing is GREAT!
A year ago, I needed to drill some 1/2" holes in the concrete garage floor... using a conventional DRILL and a masonry bit, each hole took 2 or 3 batteries and a half hour to dig the required hole... so I decided to give this a try... holy cow! What a difference!
Using a 1/4" Bulldog bit, this dug into a cinder block almost as easily as a standard drill goes into wood! Then I tried it on denser concrete and it worked just as well. I was AMAZED. Wish I had this last year!
There's something hugely satisfying about a tool that really does the job right.
Besides the remarkable first experience, the tool itself is very sturdy and top quality and comes in a nice case.
If this is your first hammer drill purchase, I should point out something that I did not realize - it does NOT user standard drill bits - you have to have special SDS-Plus bits and it doesn't come with any (the Bosch bits are moderately priced and work GREAT). You can also buy a standard SDS-Plus --> standard chuck.

In this product the on off switch is easily deffect once you have want to be change it will be worth rs500 four times you have changed as same as the rate of the macine. important the switch not under the warranty

Blade got stuck
After 2-3 uses the nut that fixes the blade got stuck so i can't change the blade. It's like fixed so tight

Okayish equipment
Like all Bosch products sold in India the user manual is useless. Extremely third grade quality of paper that is worse than the cheapest newsprint. Instructions are more safety warnings than any useful instruction on how to assemble the product. Perhaps Bosch thinks that in India most of the users of these items are illiterate mechanics who wouldn't read anything in any case.
The machine per se isn't so bad. A little on the heavier side. The switch is very rough. Perhaps deliberately kept so, so that it cannot get switched on easily - a sort of safety feature. The safety guard does not sit on the collar easily. I needed to lightly hammer it a bit.
The machine should have come with a few commonly used types of grinder/cutter disc or at least that should be an option.

Not too happy with the way the on/off switch works either
I didn't get a new item, it looked a bit used, and the box was heavily damaged. Not too happy with the way the on/off switch works either. Nevertheless the product gets the job done, have sliced through everything from solid concrete, to a 250mm steel C channel... to my bedroom door the other day :)

Very good Quality all in all.
Just like I wanted for my DIY wood work Light weight and Heavy Duty. I have used Hitachi before but that was very stressful. BOSH GWS 600 has a very good grip and performance. And like always excellent TAT by Amazon.

Little grinder
I liked the power.and comfort of use. I don’t use a grinder on a daily basis, but when I do I’ll use it continuously for a week or so. I need a dependable, powerful grinder and this Bosch meets my requirements. I have no complaints

Incomplete user manual?
The product is quite good. I'm a DIYer. It took me some time to figure out how to fix the switch in the ON position without having to keep pressing on it while working with the device. The manual doesn't seem to say anything about this.
