Packing was amazing and looks good
I'll add a review of the installed sink soon. However, I think it would be good to allay anyone's fear of getting something like this shipped from Amazon. I am a prime member and got this sink on schedule. The inner box was overwrapped in a much bigger box (so big it thought it was the undercounter refrig I ordered). There were ~4 inch thick firm pads positioned all around the inner box. When worked my way into the inner box with the sink, I noticed some scruff marks on the bowl, probably because the brackets were sitting in the bowl in a plastic bag. Took a damp cloth and the scruff marks were removed. Other than that, the sink was in perfect shape, so don't sweat the shipping part.
I'll add a picture and look and feel report to this comment when it is installed under our new granite top in a couple of weeks. Just wanted to be allay any fears about shipping.

Perfect!
This sink is amazing. It’s big and beautiful. I worried about keeping it clean, but in a month, it’s been a lot easier than I expected. The oiled bronze faucet and flange strainer really pop on this pure white sink. Note for sizing- It was under mounted in a 39” cabinet with very little room left.

Gorgeous sink!!!
I researched a lot of granite composite sinks before purchasing this one. Blanco is the only manufacturer I found that actually tells you how much granite is used (80%). Other similar products were hit and miss on feedback with the biggest issue being able to see light through the corners of the sink. this is NOT an issue with the Blanco sink. It is solid and thick!! Our friend that is also a contractor has had this sink for several years and it still looks brand new. The sink is easy to clean and I can wash my griddle and electric skillet fully submerged in the sink because it is so deep. I can also fit two large pasta pots side by side and soak them without seeing them. The kitchen always looks clean and tidy because the dishes that pile up throughout the day can be set in the sink out of view. I don't miss my old double bowl sink at all. When handwashing items, I can set the washed items to the side of the sink while still having plenty of room for the dishes waiting to be washed. This sink is gorgeous, easy to maintain and durable. I would buy it again in a heartbeat and highly recommend it!

Gorgeous sink--and the customized stainless steel rack is worth every penny. I ordered the Blanco sink stopper and air gap too. This essentially black sink sits on top of my white tile counter, and creates a beautiful contrast along with my black dishwasher and black and stainless steel double oven gas range. Refrigerator is white, my preference, and it doesn't look at all out of place since it ties in seamlessly with the white tile on countertops. Wish you could hear the glowing comments my friends have made about my black and white kitchen. I'm a pianist, and one of my friends said it reminds them of the keyboard on my piano. Everyone loves it.

Very nice look. Though it is stated to be scratch ...
Very nice look. Though it is stated to be scratch proof, burn proof etc. It is not. Even with great care putting a dirty (cold) pan in this sink will leave a dark mark that you will have to scrub for several minutes before it disapear. It is definitly a nice decorative sink but only to look at it, not to use it. Btw it comes with no basket (the metal 'whole' thing at the bottom) have to be bought separatly @ 20$ extra cost and even then, my plumber said it was missing some pieces he had to provide for water return connections. Also the company says it needs a 27" width cabinet to fit on, i had my cabinet made to 30 inches but even then the 'clamps' provided with the sink wouldnt pass. We had to glue it with silicon. Not a big deal but they should get their specificatikns straight.

Perfect alternative to stainless sink
I love it. My wife loves it. Guest love it. Easy to use, easy to clean. Large enough for two people to use at the same time. The off-center drain allows more usable space below the sink. Comes with a faucet punch-out options on both sides of the center pre-drilled faucet hole. Our counter-top fabricator just installed it (with wood cleats not clips) and drilled the holes through both the counter-top and the sink edge based on where I wanted the holes. Would buy again. First version came cracked so had to reorder and used a different vendor.

Another winner
Usually we do black on our renos but, this time around got the sand color. Wow. Beautiful sink. The bronze faucet looks fantastic on it. This is our fifth single bowl granite sink. Can never go back to double bowls. The single bowl is the easiest thing to do everything in. As far as delivery it came on time and the UPS guy, who said he used to work at a big box DIY store, and knows how these sinks can sometime have a crack in them, said he'd never seen a sink packed so well. I opened the box to make sure it was okay. Packed superbly.

Excellent sink!
This sink is, simply put, fantastic in every way. I love the look of this Anthracite sink, it always looks clean unlike stainless or porcelain where spots and dirt show up. We had debated whether to get another dual bowl sink, but my wife wanted a single sink so that we could fit larger pots/pans inside and have enough room to soak a full size casserole dish.
I didn't like most of the available options because the drain is usually located in the middle, which means if you have dishes in the sink, they cover the disposal. This sink is the best of both worlds, drain/disposal on the far side means you can still stack dishes on one side and use the disposal/drain on the other. It is very quiet like some of the thicker and insulated stainless sinks so that when you throw some utensils in they dont bang around too loudly. We under-mounted this sink with our granite countertop and it looks great. Could not be happier!

Like the Sink; Terrible Instructions
The included instructions are on the level of 1) Install the sink 2) Now you are done. A simple line drawing, or a reply to my inquiring email, of how the over-the-top clips install would have saved me quite a bit of time.

Blanco Anthracite Top- or Under-Mount Granite Kitchen Sink Wows!
It sparkles in a subtle way! This is a magnificent sink, and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. I can't believe what a difference it makes to go from a shallower double sink to this one. It is listed elsewhere in Amazon as an undermount only, but when I ordered, it was listed as either/or and was installed (after a prolonged "discussion" with my counter guy) as a drop-in. Have read the care tips of other purchasers here and look forward to many, many years of loving this sink. Not visible in the photo(s) are channels which direct the water flow toward the drain so that it empties itself beautifully. If there is any drawback at all to this safe-to-536-degree temperature sink, it is that Drano/Liquid Plumber/etc products are not to be used, but that's because of the age and size of my drain pipe.

Blanco needs to improve their packaging
I took the advice of others and ordered this sink well in advance (in case of breakage during shipping). Sure enough, upon receipt, the whole top edge (where the faucet emerges) was broken off. I returned it and received another. The second one was in good condition, installed fine, has been in use for 6 months now. I love this sink. I like it's depth, I like how the drain is off to one side so you can put things in the sink without covering the drain. This has a downside, however. It seems to drain more slowly - maybe it's because the water has further to go. This slow drainage seems to leave more food particles in the basin after all the water has drained.

FYI: a lot of times when undermounting this sink, the drilled pilot hole for the faucet is not the only location that a faucet can work.
in my case, we installed it undermount in Granite. you cannot drill a faucet hole within .5" of the egde of the granite, and therefore, the hole would have been off of the sink lip anyway. i bought this sink and ended up with a centered on the rear faucet location.

Dimensions of drop in are almost full dimensions of sink.
The sink is great. I love washing dishes in the extra deep sink and the extra room under the sink for storage (plumbing for only one bowl is great).
I was expecting to have to replace the sink several times before getting one that was not cracked; however, the first sink was in perfect condition. It was embedded in structural styro-foam in the inner box. And that box was inside a much larger box that had styro-foam 'pillows' surrounding the inner box. Very well packed, and good thing as the corner of the outer did sustain some damage.
We did have to cut our granite counter-top opening to a larger size than our last sink. The sink is uni-body with the mounting tabs close to the outside lip of the sink. So either your opening will need to be 19.5" by 31.5" or you can have the mounting tab sit on the counter and tile up to the mounting tabs.

Very sleek and stylish....and it works.
Very high quality and stylish sink Not cheap but the model I bought is large and deep and exactly what I wanted in a laundry room sink. Everything seems to be stainless steel these days so it was nice that there were a lot of color options to choose from.

Beautiful sink that blends seamlessly into darker granites
While remodeling our kitchen I decided that a stainless sink stands out too much in a kitchen and I'd rather have my range hood or hardware be the focal point rather than a sink.
We have baltic brown granite from an existing owner and rather than change it out, I've painted cabinets and refreshed everything around the countertops and in turn have come to like the baltic brown. This sink was a big part of that realization. I find that when you have darker countertops, the stainless is very overwhelming to the eye with regards to the sink. With this black sink, the eye is not attracted to the sink. It is subtle beauty, that one can appreciate in everyday use.
I chose to under-mount the sink as the lip is fairly thick when compared to stainless lips.
Overall, I couldn't be more happy with the purchase. It is easy to clean (and keep clean) and very sound resistant.

I RETURNED IT
It was cracked upon arrival up in the top corner. It wouldn't have shown as I was planning to undercount it but my stone installer said the crack would grow over time and would eventually leak. I took no chances and returned it. The return process was also a bit difficult but its done so I give it two stars.

Nice deep bar sink.
This is a nice high quality deep bar sink. When we installed the sink we had to modify the mounting a bit because we wanted a center mounted faucet. We used a hole saw to start the opening and then used a jig saw to create a U shape. Out faucet is mounted to the counter top.

Love the Sink
When looking for a sink for our new kitchen remodel, we had a few people tell us that this sink would be too big. Nonsense!! My wife does a lot of cooking and I'm usually the one cleaning the big pans. She loves the sink and so do I. It is big and extremely deep compared to the 6" deep metal sink we pulled out. We also put this under counter making it feel even deeper. Because of the size of this sink and the fact that there is only one drain, I was concerned about connecting the garbage disposal to our waste pipe. I had to cut a couple of the PVC pipes but everything lined up easier than expected. We've only had it for a few weeks so I can't talk about the durability of the finish. All I can say is that we love the functionality of this sink. It has a commercial feel. I can see how the size and configuration (single bowl) would not be for everyone but it works fantastic for us.

Open box immediately & check sink
Normally this type of non review irritates me, but in the hopes it saves someone some hassles I'll do it anyway.
Please, if you are in the habit of leaving deliveries unopened, perhaps til they are needed, DON'T.
Our new sink arrived in a completely undamaged box and had I not read (here) about checking for hairline fractures, we would not have opened the box. If undamaged the contents should be also, right? Wrong! Without even removing the Styrofoam forms it was clear the sink was broken ... one entire side was off and a corner as well, might be more, we didn't look further.
As usual, AMAZON's customer service was superb, within 10 minutes we received the return label and our replacement should be here tomorrow. Can't wait to give a review about how wonderful it is

Love this sink
Love this sink. You can stop reading now and just buy it. This is my second big single bowl sink, and I will NEVER go back to a dual bowl sink again. The black looks amazing and stays pretty clean. I've had it for over a year now. I just quick wipe it down after washing up the dishes, and it looks fine. Haven't needed to use any vinegar or any such thing to clean it yet. Also, go and buy the Blanco bottom grid for the sink. It looks great, works great (especially if you leave stuff in the sink for days on end - I know. Who does that, right?), and was a great addition to my sink.

Great sink by the way
awsome sink... when I first opened box, there was a large area that seemed as though the finish was defective. I almost returned it, but then decided to try a few things first. After a series of fails using minor cleaners and ever slightly abrasive cleaners/sponges, I used a really really really small amount of wd-40 on a paper towel, rubbed it on, and that magically fixed it. I got lucky to have tried this, as nothing else was working. Great sink by the way.

fabulous sink- shop around for best price
I ordered this sink from Amazon after much searching for a replacement for my cheap stainless sink. It looks beautiful with my uba tub granite (green with brown and gold flecks) counters and gets many compliments. I had to shave down the side "tabs" a bit to get it to fit into the existing hole, but since installed it looks fantastic and is perfect for larger pots and pans. It is very deep, and can potentially scratch if anything is dropped in it- so I purchased the blanco diamond sink grid and it is perfect together.
I would recomend looking around and checking on shipping costs, becuase the price range for this sink was pretty broad (from $200-$600). Amazon ended being the cheapest and best option bc it qualified for free shipping. It arrived in once piece, with no issues.
