The first time I used this shaver, I gave myself razor burn (because I was in a rush and didn’t know how to really use it). My barber uses this same shaver on me at his shop, with no problems. He taught me how to better do it (clean and exfoliate skin first, trim any hair with trimmer as low as you can- this prevents hairs from being pulled, and keep skin taut while shaving and take your time). The second time I used it, I had no issues. This shaver feels like high quality, it has a nice heavy weight to it. I am very impressed with the quality and how sharp/close it cuts.

I was in between this and the cheaper Andis foil shaver. My barber has both and honestly I went with the BaBylissPRO because of how it feels in my hand. Feels sturdy. Feels great. I cut my hair/clean beard on Sundays with my barber. I use this shaver for in-between haircut appointment. I use with the Remington shave powder and it cleans me up quite nice. If you are thinking about buying this shaver don't think about it twice. Buy with confidence.

After talking to several barbers about shaving my head, they recommended this foil razor. I used to use DE Razors or Cartridges in the past, then switched to Philips OneBlade, but eventually wanted something that works quickly and gives me a BBS feel of manual razors. I was there for a surprise because this gets it done... Amazing razor for my head and I can shave it in 4-5 minutes, as long as I shave every 1-3 days.

I also tried to use this foil razor for my beard and it shaves really well except in the neck area. I understand that this maybe because I am used to shave with a manual razor, but it has difficulty picking up in small hairs in the neck area. I've been told that maybe I need to wait 2-4 weeks for the face to adjust to the razor but that's a bit too long of a wait.

Overall very pleased with this for my head shave.

I purchased this for my son as a Christmas gift and he loves it! He shaved his bald head regularly with a normal razor and one day decided to try his dad’s electric razor. He loved it so I made it my mission to find the perfect electric razor for skull shaving. His barber recommended this and it’s a winner.

Works great. Found you have to let the shaver glide over your skin for best results. If you push to hard shaver does not work well. Best if you use a pre shave lotion.

Great and sharp, and when using light touch as you should with all foil shavers, does an excellent job. Though as is the case with all foil shavers, the hair must all ready be short, so if shaving longer hair you'll need to knock it down with a beard trimmer using just the bare blades. But this is true with all foil shavers of this design.

Best thing is that unlike the wahl, it A) has a full metal cap to protect the foils during any transport or travel, and B) the foil itself seems to take a bit more abuse than the wahl can.

Also holds a great charge.

Worth the money if you are wanting to invest longer term in a quality foil shaver.

Bought this to get a close shave but sadly it didn't work that well. It would shave off some of the top stubble but it would also leave patches of hair it refused to shave off. Wouldn't recommend unless you decide to use it every single day.

I’m used to shaving with a Feather double edged razor. I get a really close smooth shave. Several years ago, when I broke my arm and couldn’t shave with the double edge, I tried an expensive well known brand electric shaver. I never got a close shave. I was hesitant to try another electric, but the reviews convinced me. The Babylis shaver is amazing. After shaving I can’t feel any stubble - my face is totally smooth. I still wet shave on the weekend, but during the week, the Babylis is perfect for when I’m in a hurry.

Bought this for shaving my head because using razors was irritating my skin. I been using it every 2-3 days for about two weeks now and it's the best thing ever. Just use it as recommended and don't let your hair grow too much or otherwise you'll experience some snag and pull. Great product overall!!

Barber tools at home in these days are incredibly valuable. I use it for my head, gives a very smooth shave. Buy yourself some powder and an aerosol can of lubricant to keep well oiled and sharp.

I just got it in the mail and the box was torn up and the shaver foil head won’t click into place. It just falls out. I’m really sad because I was looking forward to using these. And was wondering anyway I could exchange or return them!

Great for a close shave on the face and chest, mind you it’s designed for stubble only. I wouldn’t suggest using this on your face daily as it can irritate sensitive skin. I knocked off a star for the fact the chrome starts to flake off by the razors and you have sparkle flakes everywhere on your body or the floor. Cheaply made in China of course

Although it does shave close after a daily routine of slowly going over my head for about 5-10 minutes, it shaved no better than a 5 head shaver I paid half the price for. The foil covering tore IN LESS THAN A WEEK and I am trying to secure a new head, while the less expensive plastic version at half the price does the same job and is still going strong. More money is not always better!

I just shaved my head for the first time with this. I've used many foil shavers before this one, its unreal how fast it mows down 2 day stubble. This is the shaver I've been looking for for 15 years. I'm definitely telling all my shaved head friends about this. its crazy you can hear the blades just grab and shear the hair right off, the foils are probably 2x the size ive ever used. just learn to glide the shaver, dont push down or its gonna burn your skin.

Beat men’s foil electric shaver . My barber recommended this shaver. It’s a smooth close shave. Even more comfortable with Electroshave solution for CVS or Walgreens .

Decent razor, you will need to use it at least 2-3 times daily if you want to stay smooth and even more if you get that 5 o’clock shadow. Doesn’t pull and if you use it several times a day it will keep your face pretty smooth. As for me, I’ll just go back to my Harry’s razor. I bought this for convenience and ease, but it doesn’t fit that criteria.

This shaver is worth the money. I’m an amateur that likes quality products,(I like quality brands in general) and this thing feels like butter on your face. Super smooth and leaves a clean shave. I tried it on my neck before trying it on anyone else. Would recommend to anyone in the market for a shaver of this type.

I shave my head once a week and I replaced my Wahl 5 Star Shaver with these and its the best decision I've made in 2020. I did read a ton of reviews and comparisons between these and the Andis shaver and decided to pay a little extra for these. Overall the shaver feels and sounds beautiful... also compared to the Wahl the replacement blades and foil cost about the same. Very satisfied with this purchase.
