Good straighteners
I had a much older model of these straighteners that lasted me well over 10 years. They were aging and pulling my hair while using. Saw these and a fraction of the price I paid for my previous straighteners.
They have long plates which means you can straighten more hair each pass. The variable temperature is good for those who have finer hair but do nothing for my hair. So I have to use the highest temperature. The colour is lovely. Overall they do what it says on the box.
There is no plastic packaging at all. The company has switched to paper inside the box to wrap the straighteners. Better for the earth.

Good comfy straighteners
Great straighteners for the price, I usually steer clear of floating plates as my hair is very thick and the last lot I had couldn't get enough pressure between the plates to straighten properly. These seem much better, nice design the only thing is the curved barrel makes them just a little bit too thick to get good curls with. Your hair needs to be quite long if you want to curl with these straighteners and it has a tendency to slide off the barrel. My Andrew Bartons were much better for curling but I cant seem to get them any more :-( Anywsy, assuming your main reason for buying is to straighten, I'd say you will be fairly pleased with these. I've only once accidentally turned them off while in use (due to the location and sensitivity of the on/off switch). Cant recall what the RRP is on these but I paid £25

I Love these straighteners and purchased a set 2.5yrs ago which are still in perfect condition and wanted a second set as I live between two homes and didn't want to keep dragging my first set with me.

Best straighteners I’ve ever had!
Bought these after my old GHDs conked out. Before outlaying on a new pair I asked my niece, who is a hairdresser, for her opinion on what’s best. These are the ones she uses for work and has used on my hair. That was good enough for me!
I actually prefer these to my GHDs and would definitely buy again without hesitation. They heat quickly, have 3 heat settings which is kinder on my fine curly hair, and have an all important cut off switch should they be accidentally left on, which I do worry about. The longer plates get more hair at a time making them overall quicker to use and my hair has an unbelievable shine after using them.
These definitely ticked all the boxes and the fab price was the icing on the cake. Would definitely recommend these.

Great straightener's
Really, really like these. Very quick to heat and very easy to use. I prefer these to my GHD's.......great value for the money and I am just ordering a 2nd set for when I travel as they are dual voltage :-)

Very sleek
I love these. The plates are small so I can get close to my scalp. My hair is naturally curly/frizzy so I need good straighteners. These leave my hair looking very smooth.

The best out there!
I now always buy Babyliss straighteners. This is my third pair now. One got dropped in the bath, the next departed with an ending relationship and this is my new pair. I have extremely thick unmanageable hair and these tame it wonderfully. Just as expected they warm up quickly and stay warm the whole time. I have had many other brands previously including GHDs, but have found none that compare. Having so much hair has in the past meant a serious amounts of time in front of the mirror with achy arms.... these allow me to get the task done in no time at all. These are a fraction of the price of many products out there but by far do the best job... still not disappointed

I bought these for just under £30, having had a pair of BaByliss straighteners previously (which expired a long time after the six years minimum that electrical goods should last for). These are an improvement on the last pair, even though they were more than satisfactory: separate on/off buttons, placed so that it's difficult to accidentally turn them off when in use; 15 second heating up; curved edges to wrap hair around for easy curls; excellent straightening; fabulous long lead... it's actually difficult to find fault with them.
All in all these are an excellent product, and BaByliss have a very loyal customer.
NOTE: Regarding the complaints from a few users about them heating up all the way down: if this is happening to yours, you need to request a replacement because they have a fault. This is not supposed to happen. Mine remain cool where they are handled.

Great straightners! I’m a hairdresser and baught these as a cheap second hand pair and ended up loving them and using them all the time. There lovely and smooth and really good too curl and wave with. I have recently baught some cloud 9 straighteners (too match my hairdryer) and was shocked there’s not a lot of difference at all for the value of money. Sometimes we just buy some names and good brands but not always the great appeal they seem, I’d deffo buy these again xxx

Okay-ish.
I’m really disappointed the display isn’t digital and it doesn’t really tell you the temperature that is set on, but I suppose it’s my fault for not reading the whole description. It also make my hair smell like plastic a little bit, but over all I’m happy with it.

Lasted two years
These straightening irons heat up quickly. Don’t feel as effective as others I’ve had. The curved back gets hot and makes it tricky to not burn yourself. They lasted 2 years then suddenly stopped working. You get what you pay for.

Fabulous straighteners
After being a GHD girl for years I bought these when I was on an extended stay with my parents and I had forgotten to take my straighteners with me. I have been very surprised. They are equally as good if not sometimes better at taming my unruly hair and I like being able to change the temperature. Absolute value for money. No longer will I stick to a fancy name but will look to what works and good reviews. These I full endorse and recommend

Brilliant Babyliss
Fabulous value for money straighteners. Easy to use, as good as GHD's in my opinion. They come with a heatproof mat that you use to wrap around them also after use. 3 heat settings. I use the middle one on on my thick, mind of it's own hair. My last pair were Babyliss - they lasted me over 10 years and I used them most days. I would definitely recommend this model.

Really surpised.
I don't leave reviews often but felt I had to with this one. I have very thick black hair and struggle to straighten it. I got this as a christmas gift and really surprised how cheap it is and how well is straightens my hair. Definitely recommend.

It’s very smooth when going through your hair
Really like this straightener. The size and adjustable heat setting are great for my fine hair. Only downside is, I Wish it had some form of closure to keep the two arms together when not in use, otherwise, very happy with it.

Great replacement!
These were a replacement for my old Babyliss
Ones which were 12-14 years old! These are great - and 5 degrees hotter than my old ones and smoother plates. The results are great and I would definitely recommend them great price too.

Plates don’t meet
Had these straighteners for almost a year. Price was good when I bought, however I wouldn’t recommend as anything more than a basic pair of straighteners, as the plates don’t touch which makes straightening and curling small sections of hair difficult.
