I have had this for about a week now and I am beginning to like it.
I use it predominantly as a spare mostly in the car - to work and back. I find the sound isolation is fairly good and while in the car I feel very comfortable and uninterrupted.
I listen to this on my Ipod Touch and I do have to use it together with my BBE Sonic pro app as the tone does require a little tweaking. I find that (un-EQ) the bass tends to be a bit in the forefront and vocals tend to drown.
But when I am able to fiddle the EQ to the right level the final sound comes out fairly good. What normally gives me problems is with the sound stage and the depth and I do need to spent time adjusting this (especially if I change music genre). It does work very well with guitar sounds and acoustics.
The other thing I find convenient is the inline mic. I used my Ipod to Skype all the time and its proving to be very convenient. I am told by my phone contacts that my talking tone and clarity on the other end is very pleasing.
Overall I do believe this to be a good buy and value for the price. (paid $70 for it)

A couple weeks back I purchased the sony xba-3IP and a couple weeks later one of the buds malfunctioned and I had to return it. I browsed head-fi looking for an alternative option and found these to be highly recommended. I had my doubts that these headphones could match the sound quality of the sony xbas due to the fact that they were less than half the price but I took a chance and ordered them anyway. I paid $76 for these headphones for rush shipping from Japan and I think it was worth every penny. The bass and treble are great, the soundstage range is fantastic, and everything sounds wonderful. I would definitely pick these over the sony xbas any day.
I think the only downside to these headphones is that they are very short. There is an extension that comes along with them but I don't really like using extensions. This is just a small complaint though, definitely not a deal breaker. I highly recommend these headphones to anybody. They are very comfortable, they sound great, and look great.

They look great and that's about it. I turned the volume control to high and could barely hear anything,and yes it was plugged in all the way. They have a wheel for volume that is very hard to use. I answered a call and could hear a whisper, good thing I had my phone on vibrate.

The CKM500 is not the most accurate IEM, as it have a slight boost in the bass as well as the treble. The mids are by no means recessed though, and in fact are quite clear. The greates strength of these IEMs is that they boast an impressive soundstage. They are not fully sealed, which compromises their isolation, but in return provides an airy, expensive sound. The have great detail, and also provide a solid kick to those who want their bass. These are not quite basshead IEMs, but they are not bass shy by any measure.
These have a great fit and are quite comfortable. The titanium housing is wonderful and you can really feel the build quality when handling them.
By only complaint is that this model uses the short cord (.6m) with the extension (also .6m). This makes it usually just a bit short to use without the extension, but just a slightly too long with the extension. I usually use them when at a desk instead of on the go, so the length has not been an issue for me.
