Отличная модель
- + Звук высочайшего качества, практически вечные конденсаторы с сухим твердотельным электролитом (в обычных конденсаторах со временем жидкие электролит высыхает, и начинаются проблемы), реле переключения выходов вместо электронных ключей
- - устаревший интерфейс PCI, но эта проблема решается покупкой переходника с Алиэкспрес, к примеру

I debated for a while between getting this sound card or a desktop unit like th schiit bifrost. Having a LYR on order already and deciding that it would go on my desktop I decided to get a soundcard instead of the bifrost, it doesn't hurt that sound-cards are WAY cheaper then desktop units as well, as even the most expensive ASUS card is around $200 bills.1. First off if you're going to but this unit, DO NOT use the asus drivers, use this: [...]It's a modded driver that works much better than the asus one. I had plugged in the D1 and spent the better part of an hour trying to get it to work. Then when finally I had the driver installed sound wasn't coming out of all the ports, just one of them. To fix this I tried to go into the asus sound manager which didn't open because it said the card wasn't properly installed...which it was. By using the sound manager from UNI it fixed all these problems in a matter of seconds after it's installation.SOUNDYes this is why we buy these things...This card gives GREAT sound. And after to doing a lot of research the reason I got this card is because I use external headphone amps and have powered M-Audio DSM speakers. So I didn't need the extra juice of the Xonar essence. So if you are like me and use either a receiever/amp or have powered speakers (as most computer speakers are), there's no reason to get the extra juice and headphone amp that the essence has. This is rated with a 116db signal to noise ratio where-as the essence has a 120 rating. If you can tell the difference then god bless you but I certainly can't as my friend has the same card and the sound is just as good on both.The sound quality compared to my asus P67 motherboard is night and day. Asus motherboards do have better sound then most, but the card really did lift the "veil" off the music. This is mainly because of the great DAC that this thing has. It outputs super high quality 24 bit sound, and it's adds puncha nd clarity to the mix throughout the frequency spectrum.One thing I did notice is that my subwoofer is MUCH more punchy and well defined. And while that does have it's own power as well, the signal is just way cleaner which separates the instruments much better.I also always thought that the slight buzz/white noise was just my cables, but it wasn't it was the motherboard. This card got rid of ALL the white noise. All that comes through now is the music, and it's dead silent when that isn't playing.All and all I'm %100 percent happy with the sound quality, I just wish that Asus would make a better driver and control system so that I could have that two hours of my life back.

My gut instincts questioned this card before I purchased it. The price was right as an upgrade over Realtek On-board sound (MSI 790FX-GD70 motherboard). Today the card arrived and I proceeded to install it.Before installing this card I uninstalled the Realtek drivers, rebooted the system (turning off HD Audio in CMOS), ran Driver Sweeper to remove any Realtek audio driver remnants, then shut down the system. I installed this ASUS Xonar D1 in the #2 slot (#1 and #3 hold the ATI 6850 video cards).I had already downloaded the latest Asus drivers for Windows 7 64-Bit, so upon reboot I stopped the OS from auto-installing drivers and manually installed the "PCI-D1-110512-7.12.8.1794(W7-FR)" driver. Install completed and I rebooted the system and had sound - I guess this was sound.The Logitech 5.1 speakers were only producing sound from the two front speakers, no matter what I tried, and even with just those, the sound was bad. I finally gave up and called Asus' tech support. The tech seemed utterly clueless about audio cards, and about 15 min into the conversation - of which we never got to any troubleshooting - the connection was cut off. I promptly called back and was told (by a real person) that all techs were busy, leave us a phone number and your case number, and we'll call you back shortly (24/7 tech support). Now, 9+ hours later I have yet to receive the callback.I argued more with the settings, and finally gave up to try a "safe mode" installation of the drivers, thinking "maybe" Windows was just being stubborn with the driver install. I reboot the system, and STILL only sound to the front speakers. Fiddling around , back and forth with various settings in the "Xonar D1 Audio Center" software and all of a sudden the rear speakers, center speaker, and sub-woofer are working?!? I'm perplexed, for I did nothing that should have turned on or off the rest of the speakers. The sound from this card is nowhere near as clear or real as the on-board sound, and having been a musician for over 35 years, it is painful to listen to what the advertising considers quality sound. The sound is tin-like, echoing, and worse if you edit any of the effects through the EQ.I had it playing for a while and then poof, the rear, center, and sub-woofer are gone again! When testing the speakers (either in the Audio Center or in Windows Sound settings to configure the speakers) it shows that sound is being generated at those speakers, but nothing is coming out of them. I went ahead and tried a headset, a Turtle Beach 5.1 Ear-Force, using various settings in the Audio Center and the sound in the headset is also horrible. It sounds like I plugged in a $2.00 set of headphones from a swap meet, a definite shift backwards from the on-board sound. I even had a friend who stopped over listen to it, a person who has heard my system in the old configuration many times, and they grimaced at the sound now coming from my speakers.I will most likely be returning this card and getting the HT Omega which was my initial choice anyway, but doing the comparisons it seemed that this Asus Xonar D1 would be a comparable unit with some cost savings - I was wrong. Maybe the Asus support staff will call back with some wizardry to fix it, but I'm not holding my breath. I have an old Creative ExtremeMusic that sounds considerably better than this card.

I recently had to retire an old xi-fi card, and used on-board sound ALC889 for a few days while I decided on which sound card to get next. As far as sound quality goes, this card is much better than the xi-fi, and ALC889. I hear highs and instruments that I forgot even existed in songs. I am having a lot fun listening to songs again. The range is noticeably larger.I have a win 7 - 64 bit system.Installation:I downloaded drivers from ASUS. I un-installed old drivers, and used driver sweeper to clear them off the hd. Re-booted, and disabled the on-board sound in the bios. Then attempted to install the drivers. It took an abnormally long time, and never finished, I was forced to kill the process, and restart windows. I remember reading some reviews that mentioned install in safe mode, and so I installed in safe mode after having problems in normal mode.The plugins in the back were a bit close together, and I had no problem reading the text for front, cen/sub, side, and rear. Since I have 5.1, I plugged my rear speakers into the side slot.Driver Software:It's a little strange at first. When you first bring the Audio Center up, it's important to notice the little arrow (triangle) towards the bottom center then bit to the right, under the "smart volume" text. That opens up the app so that you can setup the speakers and sound source. While testing and playing music (MP3s), I found that setting the audio channel to 2 channels, that the XONAR would then push music to all speakers. I think this might have to be manually controlled basic on what you are playing. So if you play a source with more channels, you might have to change it there for the best results.Gaming:I tried a few older games very briefly, and it had no problems with Ultima IV in DosBox, JA:Gold, along with a few other older games. Will be testing it out more later.

excellent sound in ubuntu 12.04I use an old 1Ghz mother board for my mp3/flac archive of music feeding my magnaplanar speakers.the onboard sound was not cutting it, very little projection, high frequency distortion, well just kinda muddled.this is the best $90 I could have spent and get this much enjoyment out of this system.I didn't use the included software as linux has the drivers built in.I am only using stereo.I am using the analog out to my pre-amp and power amp.the card can do up to 192k/24bits ... for the price I recommend it.very good value.

I bought this card solely for its PCI interface and low profile form factor. Unlike the Xonar DX which has a PCIe interface, it doesn't require a 4-pin Molex power plug to get tthe card running, which is a plus. PCI bus is phasing out, so unless you are sure you will buy a board with PCI interface in the future (which is becoming less common especially on MATX form factor), this card is not for you. I am using an ATX motherboard with a PCI slot which I want to find a use of it, so it is a really good fit.The card is using better capacitors in the analog stage, but they seems not to be audio capacitors that other sound cards in the same price range is using. The opamp in use are JRC5532, which is okay but not great, and they are not swappable (unless you re-solder it with SMD components). I would rather use LME49720 or similar as replacement. Or better, get another card like Auzentech Forte (I also have one) which uses better capacitors and at least a LME49720 or similar in the main stereo output stage.Since this is NOT a gaming sound card, do NOT expect it to support hardware voice mixing like the other cards using X-Fi. Since Windows Vista, I remember the audio stack is changed and there is no hardware voice mixing support any more, unless the game supports OpenAL (I might be wrong on that).

ASUS Xonar D1 7.1 Channels PCI Interface Sound CardVERY GOOD SOUND, NICE CARD...HOWEVER, THE "SPDIF OUT" AND THE "LINE IN/MIC IN" SHARE THE SAME HEADER JACK! (ELECTRONIC TRICKERY) IF YOU ARE RECORDING FROM AN EXTERNAL SOURCE, YOU MUST UNPLUG THE "LINE IN" AND REPLUG THE "SPDIF OUT" INTO THE SAME HEADER PLUG TO REGAIN OPTICAL OUTPUT. THE MANUAL SPEAKS ABOUT SOME OEM SOFTWARE WHICH WAS NOT PACKAGED WITH MY UNIT. OVERAL GOOD, JUST A LITTLE INCONVENIENT.

Using this right now on Win XP. Bought it for Win 7 upgrade. Audigy 2 Card has no Win 7 drivers.I am blown away. No comparison. All most to clean. Greatly increased the volume. Running it through a Power Amp.I do live concert editing. I wish I had bought it a long time ago. Old card had been crackling, but I did not realize the sound quality may had been fading. No issues yet. Highly recomended.Con;Need to find a way to conect to front panel plugins (USB head phones, mic, and firewire)Not a deal breaker at all.

Plug and play, no issues using native Pulse Audio modules. Replaced a card w/ a VT1720/24 controller by VIA that was constant trouble in Linux.I am using this card to drive a Marshall Leach V4.5 amp, configured bi-amped, as shown here -[ ... ]Dead quite, no hiss or pops, great dynamic range. Front panel audio must be enable through alsamixer by highlighting front panel and pressing the "m" key change default "off" to "on".

The installation went flawlessly. With a little tweaking in the ASUS interface, the sound rivals that of my components stereo system. I am using inexpensive 5.1 Logitech speakers and couldn't be happier with the result.

I bought two of these for my daughter and son-in-law because I like mine (purchased over a year ago) so much. This card offers sound quality equal to the great HT-Omega, while providing better EAX and positional sound support ... for the price it's a rare value.

Very easy to install, no real issues. The default windows 8 sound drivers weren't the greatest but with the Uni Drivers it performs very well.

This was great for Music, the first thing I turned on of coarse, But then I went to play my games and only one worked?? with sound and was BF:3, sounded so good, so thought something was wrong, but sure enough its fine it just doesn't work with games, doesn't support anything, even though asus usually pretty good about that, but not this time.Don't buy for games, probably won't work.

i think this card is truly the best value sound card you can find today. sure there are better options (from other asus, ht-omega, creative) but you are going to have to shell out 2-3x the cost of this card. the only 2 gripes i have are popping sounds during start up and shut down (hopefully nothing destructive is in the works) and the ports are not color coded but that is a lesser issue.

It has been a long time since I bought a sound card, the state of the art has jumped way forward. The sound quality is superb. It's usefulness in gaming is very sweet. Remember to disable the on board sound chips in the BIOS, and enable the sound card.

I've never done a review here on Amazon, but I felt I needed to make some noise about this sound card. For years I have used Creative's Audigy 2 ZS Platinum sound card. At the time I purchased it, it was the best thing out there. Now, running Windows 7, I've had several ongoing issues with it that driver updates just couldn't fix. Since I already trust the ASUS brand for having used their motherboards and other various components, I figured I'd give the Xonar D1 a try. After installing it and messing around with the different sound settings for a couple of days, I've come to the conclusion that ASUS has a winning product on its hands. Folks, there's absolutely no need to spend $100+ on a new sound card unless you need a particular feature not found on the lower priced models. The sound quality is absolutely top notch for music and gaming. Onboard sound has gotten better over the years, but it still cannot touch the quality of sound you'll get from a good product like the ASUS D1.At first I was hesitant to buy it because it only has a single line-in jack that doubles as a mic input. Since I planned to connect my Xbox 360's audio, I worried that I'd have to swap plugs every time I wanted to communicate while playing games online. Not the case. I learned quickly that I can connect the HD Audio connector that enables me to connect my headset mic to the jacks on the face of my computer case. So you can actually have both. What I didn't realize after I got the card was that you have to switch between the sound card's input and the front panel input by choosing the analog path in the software. Took me a little while to figure that out, but I did it. Very easy to do too. I only hook up with my friends online with PC games once a week anyway, so it's no hassle at all. And after testing out my mic using my Ventrilo server, my voice communication was clear as a bell.I listen to a good bit of music, but my main concern when purchasing the D1 was for gaming. And I'm happy to report that its performance is nothing short of stellar. Unlike my previous sound card, the D1 has a virtual 7.1 surround feature that will turn any standard headset into surround sound. I now hear things in my headset that I never heard before. In shooters, for example, I can now hear where an approaching enemy is coming from. Instead of knowing the enemy is either on the left or right, I can now determine of he's in front of me or behind me on both sides. Again, I'm using a standard set of Yamaha headphones and this feature is pretty incredible.Overall, I am extremely pleased with the D1. After adjusting the EQ to my liking and adding some ambient effects, my games and music have never sounded better!

I'M TYPING IN ALL CAPS SO YOU CAN HEAR ME OVER THE BRAVEHEART SOUNDTRACK I AM PLAYING.This is an absolutely amazing sound card. Unlike the Creative sound card I used to have, there's absolutely no sound coming out of the speakers when there's no sound playing. None. There's just no noise. It's all pure audio goodness.Also, the Dolby Pro Logic II sound decoding is perfect. It directs all the right Dolby audio channels to the correct speakers, unlike most sound cards which have a "surround effect" feature that either replicates the front 2 channels to all the other speakers or tries to fake it. This is real, Dolby patented surround sound.I've used a number of audiophile grade sound devices and none of them have reproduced music as well as this card. The highs are crisp, the mids are center stage and the lows are punchy and significant.I've heard some complaints about problems with Windows 7 drivers. My only problem was that I had to re-install the drivers once. After I did that everything worked perfectly.The only problem I have experienced with this card is when you're using it in Ubuntu, your computer hangs for a few seconds with each notch you adjust the volume.Note: If you want Dolby Pro Logic II Surround you have to turn it on and turn off the EAX. Dolby decoding is not on by default.Use these settings in the Xonar DX Audio Center application:* Audio Channel: 2 Channels* Sample Rate: PCM 192KHz* Analog Out: 5.1 Speakers (or 7.1 if you have 8 channel speakers)* SPDIF Out: Off* Check the box for Dolby Pro Logic IIx* Uncheck the box for 7.1 Virtual Speaker ShifterThis gives you Dolby decoding for your music and movies without needing a separate tuner.Next click on the FlexBass button and set it to On. Set the LFE Crossover Frequency so the heavy bass sounds sound like they are coming out of your subwoofer.Finally, hit the Effect button and set the equalizer sliders to match the type of audio you're listening to, or hit one of the preset buttons.This would be a very good card for a HTPC, with its half height retention bracket included in the box (you have to order it separately for most sound cards).Oh and by the way, don't bother paying more for the DX2 card. The only difference is it has a wicked looking plastic cover and a fan, which you probably won't need.

I had been relying on the integrated sound card on my motherboard because it was easy and I was lazy (and cheap, to be honest). After getting this, I wish I'd bought it sooner.You can read spec sheets until your eyes fall out of your head and roll around on the (dirty) ground. But the bottom line is that this sound card sounds much more open and relaxed. It makes you notice that integrated and cheaper hardware sound muffled by comparison.All this said, decent speakers or headphones are required to hear the difference. If you're using the earbuds that came with your iPod, save your money for produce and groceries.

This sound card does work well with the included driver. I was very happy that I finally got hassle free 5.1 through the fiber optic port. Before this card I was only getting stereo through SPDIF. This is a nice improvement for video games and movies. I really like that the equalizer works even on the digital output.There are two significant problems with this sound card that you should know about.1. The ports are close together on this card, so if you're like me and use big fat high quality connectors they won't fit next to each other. With such a high signal to noise ratio I expected them to expect me to use these cables! If you are using the digital output you won't need to worry about this problem.2. None of the Asus drivers support vista and 7's enhancements. The card does have it's own enhancements that are probably better than what windows offers except for room correction. Room correction allows you to correct the frequency response automatically using microphone calibration. It works very well to balance all the channels in your system. I would not have complained about this if asus had included an equalizer for EACH channel but that is not the case.I understand that most people do not use room correction or high end 3.5mm connectors but that was a big deal for me.

Being a Big Recording Enthusiast and Music Man, I Was Looking For A Sound Card That Would Give The Best Sound Possible For The Money. At This Time I Only Had A Low Budget Diamond Xtreme Sound 7.1 Which Didn't Give Me Much. Creative's Sound Blaster Sounded Too Muddy On My Subwoofer... But I Came Across This. After Doing Much Reviews This Card Seeemed To Be The Right One That Fits My Needs.Installation Is Easy As Putting 2 Pieces Of Legos Together... D1 Was Chosen Since It Uses A PCI Input and Not The Express Since It requires An Extra Power Source So The D1 Beats The DX For Me!I'm Using Logitech X-540 Surround Speakers And Man The Card Just Blasts Notes Everywhere And Now My Rear Speakers Are Being Put To Good Use! The Sound Was Different In A Sense Which Was MUCH BETTER When Recording As Well. The Bass Drum Sounded Much Clearer And I Can Hear Its True Thump. Just A Note I'm Both A Heavy Listener and Soft... But Mostly Heavy... Metalcore Does Good On This Card And Just Wow... Euro is Great Too.Bottom Line, Looking For A Budget Upgrade? Get This! Keep In Mind, The Better Your Speakers, The Better Your Quality! Excuse Me But I'm Going To Listen To Some All That Remains...

I got this for my new HTPC. I was amazed to find that WMV HD audio was only in 2 channels out of the optical port on my motherboard. I don't know if this is a problem with Windows 7 or just WMV/A HD in general but this effect my Amazon Unbox videos so I wasn't happy and I really didn't want to deal with analog outs. This sound card fixes that problem by flat converting everything to Dolby Digital. I was pretty skeptical that it would actually work or I would have bought a higher end one. In any case it does exactly what I wanted I think the only downside here is that everything is in Dolby Digital so that includes anything that was in DTS but I'll live with it.

The Xonar D1 doesn't just sound better than onboard audio, it sounds noticeably better than the low-profile Audigy it replaced in my dedicated music-playback PC. While the bass response was similar between the two cards, the D1 produced a marketly more detailed mid-high end. I really think the difference is audible by normal human beings, not just audiophiles.It comes with a low-profile bracket in addition to the normal bracket -- just remove and replace 2 bracket screws to change between normal and low-profile.I've had no issues with the drivers. The card is based on an HD Audio codec so it meets standards for Windows 7 / Vista. The only HD Audio-based card from "Brand C" is their latest Titanium offering which doesn't come in a low-profile version, nor in PCI.I hear no audio interference from other components such as the DVD-drive motor, which frequently cause whining or whirring with onboard audio systems and some sound cards.The only downside is that the card doesn't follow industry standards for color-coding its output jacks. All of the jacks are metal with no color-coding, and the labels stamped into the shiny metal of the bracket are unreadable. When installing the card, keep the manual close to hand, and plug things in using the "second from the top is front left/right" method.
