Great phone
I bought this phone 6 months ago and I’m still very happy with my purchase. For those of us who don’t spend their time gaming or watching films, it’s a perfect size, battery life is great too, keyboard is obviously small but you get used to it. I have had Android phones until now and was worried that I would struggle but that’s not the case. Setting up and transferring was easy and quick. The camera is great, using Bluetooth with my stereo and wireless speaker is seamless . It is easy to use with one hand, once I’d realised that my thumb is the way to go, phone’s are expensive but I bought this with interest free payments from Amazon so it didn’t break the bank. I would recommend buying a T Torras case and screen protector for when you will inevitability drop it.

Home button doesn't work in gloves
Home button is in touch screen technology. Works the same way as the rest of the screen. In fact, it it only a dedicated part of the screen rather than a physical button. Thus, can't be used with nails or hands in gloves. I know that it is not a major problem, but Iphone X with swipe home function at least provides the extra square inch of screen size.
The only advantage is that the fingerprint reader works very well, much faster than older SE. So when you press home button with your finger it also activates the phone.
If anyone wonders what my problem is: the SE first generation I used to keep on a table, whenever time or notification was about to be checked, I simply pressed the home button. I could use gloved hand or any object to physically press the button. With the new SE, i must remove glove or use side button which is not easy as the volume button is exactly paralel position. So whenever I squeeze phone both buttons gets activated.
I think its gonna be my last SE, as useful home button was the only advantage over the mainstream Iphones.

Fantastic phone
I had iPhone eight and did not want to go bigger, so when SE came out, I was very pleased.
The phone is fast, ideal to put in your handbag or pocket without it sticking out.

Great for my elderly parents
iPhones are great and simple to use
I purchased this for my elderly parents as they have difficulty with the gesture swipes on the newer iPhones
Main difference with the se and other iPhones is the home button which makes their life so much easier for them to use

Touch ID on 5G
I personally prefer Touch ID than Face ID, so I may wear sunglasses, face covering, royal ascot hat or any hair-do to cover the face won’t affect. So, iPhone SE 2022 became the first choice to upgrade when old iPhone’s battery had sudden issues. This Starlight is more like pure white on the back cover if compared with the pearl white starlight of previous one. The side frame has the slightly metallic champagne gold starlight though. The camera is basic and not much of difference from the last generation though, I wanted 5G to tether faster, so happy with this purchase. I deducted one star, because I really wanted the headphone mini jack back for the best audio quality. I am having a security concern to turn Bluetooth on for all day just for headphones as well… I hope that the waterproof mini stereo jack will be there at the next improvement. Peace.

Very good iPhone!
Very good iPhone! Much smaller and easier to carry around than my old iPhone which was an iPhone 6s Plus. So it’s got a smaller screen but I’m happy with the size. The one issue I have is that it said it’s got an excellent battery life. This is true although I have noticed recently that the battery does run down a bit quicker than I thought it would. However this happens when an iPhone ages anyway. But I think it’s an excellent little phone which two other family members have and they are very happy with it

A small powerhouse
The iPhone SE (2022) is a phone that straddles the future and the past. The A15 Bionic chip inside this phone delivers flagship power for hundreds less than the iPhone 13. And the image quality is mostly excellent despite being limited to a single rear camera. I just wish Apple found a way to include a proper Night mode. And yet the design of the new iPhone SE looks like a throwback with its small 4.7-inch display and huge bezels around the display… Overall, the iPhone SE (2022) mostly succeeds in terms of providing a great value. But next time I'd like to see a design that better matches the cutting edge vibe of the internals.

Really good but not trendy
I bought this cell phone having tried an iPhone XR (for about 6 months) never got on with it. I found the XR's virtual buttons really irritating and eventually went back to my previous iPhone 7. I liked having the physical control of a home button. There was nothing much wrong with my iPhone 7, but it was getting a bit old, so I decided to replace it.
My 17 year old son jokes that 'SE' stands for 'Senile & Elderly' - and there may be something in that. The cell phone was exactly the same form as my iPhone 7 (I thought the case and screen protector would probably have fitted), but is more modern internals. It doesn't have facial recognition (good) but does have fingerprint control on the home button. There is nothing not to like on this cell phone for an old fogey like me.
After a hiccup with the first parcel (Amazon lost it in transit) a replacement turned up on time. The iPhone SE largely set itself up from my iPhone 7's iCloud backup file and was ready to use in about half an hour. It is just like the iPhone 7 in every way, except it is a bit faster, has a better camera and battery life.

Warehouse item - very happy
“Very disapppointed that the Iphone SE 2022 completely died 3 weeks after purchase. It has been returned for refund.” This was my previous review. I then since purchased a “warehouse” model for £150 cheaper, and it is like new. I’m as happy with this one as I was unhappy with the first.

Pros and Cons.
First the positives, this is a great little phone and for someone like me who mainly uses it for calls texts and the odd bit of browsing it’s brilliant. Also the pictures and videos it takes are brilliant and it’s lightning fast due to the new onboard chip that is in the iPhone 13. Ok now the negatives, some will be put off by the black bezels on the screen but you get used to it. Battery life isn’t the best but if like me you mostly use it for calls texts and the odd bit of browsing you’ll easily get a full day from it. One thing that is worrying me is on a couple of occasions it has turned itself off. Not sure if this is a hardware or software issue but I will see how it goes over the next month or two.
Quick update since my first review, the phone turning itself off has rectified itself since the recent iOS update, it’s a great phone guys.

Perfect
I use my MacBook or iPad for work / pleasure so just need a phone for when out and about. Have had great service from an iPhone 5s for 7 years, but it was old n slow and way behind in iOS / app updates. So time to upgrade, bought this 2022 SE and love it, so fast and a joy to use, hopefully my phone for next 7 years.

Good buy
Bought this as an upgrade to my elderly phone which had started to fail on me. So glad I did. It's slightly bigger than my previous phone but still fits snugly in shirt pocket etc. It's much faster, holds charge longer, screen is sharp and colours are vivid. Does all that I need and want in a phone.

The new gen of iPhone se are the best phone I’ve had for a long time smaller more compact fits in any pocket but with the power of a pc in your pocket great phone and a great deal from Amazon summer deals saved £60 and spread the rest over 5 months if your on the fence I hope this review helps you make your decision

The Internet is full of professional reviews for iPhones, use them rather than an Amazon reviewer!
If you're planning on buying a mobile phone and specifically an Apple iPhone, then you'll rapidly discover that Apple don't allow price cutting on their phones so you'll pay the same for a new phone wherever you shop. I'd suggest browsing the internet and reading the pros and cons of the iPhone SE 2022, it could just be the phone for you. I chose to buy through Amazon because I'm a Prime member and therefore, the next day guaranteed delivery. And that's exactly what happened.

Brilliant affordable iPhone
The iPhone SE is a fantastic option for those who want an affordable iPhone. Camera is brilliant and most importantly, you get iOS. Having the incredible A15 chip means that this iPhone will get software updates for at least 5-6 years to come.
However, bare in mind that it’s battery and screen are both quite small in today’s standard.
Otherwise, if you’re coming from an older iPhone like the SE 1/2, 6, 6S, 7 or 8, or you want to switch to an affordable iPhone from android, this is a fantastic option!

Fantastic Phone - A real Powerhouse

I felt compelled to write this review after I had read so many other reviews before making this purchase. And I think this little powerhouse of a phone deserves it.
The iPhone SE 2022 is quite literally punching above its weight. With the same A15 Bionic CPU that is found in Apple’s flagship model (13 Pro), extended battery life, 5G network capabilities and the option of larger memory size. This mobile really stands up for itself.
One thing I’ve read so much about from trusted reviews and other comments is the criticism of the form factor / screen size. For me, the size of this was one of the MAIN reasons to get this phone. I don’t want a huge, heavy phone in my pocket. The 4.7” is in my opinion just perfect, and with the iPhone SE you hardly notice it at all. Its easy to hold and use and very light.
It was a shame to hear that this could be the last time Apple support this smaller size and are moving the next SE to a larger screen, another reason why I wanted to get this version before they do.
This phone for me is perfect in every way, and if you are able to, I would go for the larger 256GB memory size to really future proof this device.

This is a refurb, be aware - AVOID
We ordered this phone thinking it was a new phone, it is apparently a refurb and has a restarting issue. Broken and had to get a refund. Awful business

The one problem with this iPhone is the design is 5 year out of date in 2022.
and they is not innovation by apple. If somebody give me a blind test to see which was the 2022 iPhone SE to the iPhone 7 in 2016. I would thought there be the same phone. You wouldn't able to know what one this. if not one told me, if someone give me a choice between apple iPhone se to a Samsung A53 5G. I would pick the Samsung phone because it more innovation. And it's cheaper for more storage

Good little phones
Considering these are cheaper than other iPhones, they are great value for money. Battery life seems typical for Apple to me, but the quality of the phone is great. They’re small enough to fit easily into pockets/bags but the screen size is still good. I had an iPhone 12 mini, which seemed to have little glitches on it - but I’ve experienced none on the SE.
