The ipad mini has been everything I've hoped it would be. My only complaint would be that it doesn't come with a manual although, yes, I know I can download one.

I've had mine for almost a year of hard use on a daily basis for both work and play. My iPad mini has become an indispensable tool. This is a near perfect and high quality device, built like a tank, sexy design, power easily lasts me all day long in spite of intensive image processing use, excellent display even though it's not retina, extremely functional, I can easily hold and work with it in one hand. If you want a device that works consistently well all the time, then pay the higher price and get an iPad mini - you get what you pay for and it's definitely worth it. The mini has set and maintains the high standard by which other small tablets are measured by. Hold one in your hand, you'll see.

That's wrong.
It should read. 1.0GHZ.
getting tired of these amazon pages always lying about specs.
i just bought another tablet that said 4GB capacity, it only came with one.
get on the ball amazon before lawsuits start popping up.

Absolute perfect. No complaints. My daughter is 11 and can play, do homework, do social media, check the internet...you name it! Create pictures and videos also!

Nice size, I got it for a great price! A lot different from My Ipad 1st gen. It was time to upgrade and didnt want the largee size. This lil thing is perfect!!

This was a gift for my grandson, who is five. He is so happy with his ipad! We downloaded all his music and favortie games and pictures onto the ipad before Christmas, so it was ready to go on Christmas morning when he opened it!
He plays with it nonstop! He loves it!

I just recently got a IPad Mini 16 GB WiFi model for free when I bought my new 2012 Toyota RAV4. This is an amazing device and I use it almost continuously at home. It's more expensive then the Nexus 7 with less features, but because of the wider screen size I think the price is still worth it. Also, the top tablets out right now come with 2 GB RAM but the IPad mini only has 1 GB and this noticibly slows Internet browsing and video loading times as compared with most other tablets. With that said, this is my first tablet and the speeds have amazed me. Everything this device does generally runs 100% smoothly and feels so natural to operate. For the most part everything is intuitive and friendly.
However, Apple controls all apps very tightly and because of this there are some things you can't do. For example there is no flash suppport so if you decide to go to southparkstudios.com and try to watch the latest episode you will not be able to play it. Also for things like video editing you'll be required to put up $5 for the software (IMovie is worth the price though).
In the end my personal preference would go to one of the new ASUS tablets. ASUS gives you much more power for the money and it works on the google operating system which comes with the full google suite of software which IMO is amazing.
In closing, if you like apple and use ITunes a lot then this is a great mid range tablet computer that I highly recommend. If however you want to get the most for your money then go with the cheaper Nexus 7 or the incredibly powerful 10" ASUS tablets that you find available through Amazon.

Quality is 2nd to none. I have the original IPad, iPhone 5, Kindle Fire and truth be known I did not need the mini. The video and photo functions are great.

I am addicted to the this device and in fact seldom use my laptop and desktop now. It is so compact and the perfect travel partner. Loaded with lots of cool features and so convenient. I highly recommend.

The Apple iPad mini MD531LL/A (16GB, Wi-Fi, White / Silver) was exactly what I was looking for, but I did want the black as it was cheaper, however I would not have had that for XMas, and had to settle for the white. Works great transfer of info from iphone to ipad was easy.

I've always owned an iPad and finally with this one I was able to go small. Sold my iPad 4 and had the air for a little while but decided to go with this after it was released. Great decision on my part , in my opinion.

This price point could not be beat (saved more than $200) and it's refurbished condition was as NEW! Love it! So much bigger than i-phone screen and not as heavy as regular i-pad. Highly recommended. Shipped faster than originally quoted!

Everyone should get one.these are not just a toy! iPads are very under used.you can do more than you can on laptop.i love it.i got this one for my wife just so she would leave mine alone, and I got a iPad 2.she was hooked the first time she used one.

The Apple I-Pad Mini is a great little addition to surfing the web and staying on top of social media. Light weight and easy to use..with a screen big enough to actually see..compared to the smart phones!

In many respects I prefer the iPad mini over the iPad2 which I have owned for several years. The mini is much lighter and easier to hold and yet it provides a large enough image to read books and do other iPad functions. I purchased this iPad mini for my mother in law who has difficulty holding the heavier iPad2 while reading.

I didn't realize that Ipads did have so many features PC just didn't do. I really enjoy the mini for some things, but still use a PC for my heavy lifting.
