I finally made the leap. Bought this and love it. As a professional photographer this is a superb was of showing portfolios to clients. There are scores of good Apps for photographers, many of them free. It's light, the retina screen is great. I travel a lot, and this is THE thing for flights. No more 17 inch MacBook on my long hauls. Have always used Mac products and always will.

I never have had a tablet before. I decided I was going to get one for school and I'm a freshman in college. Overall, completely satisfied with my purchase. I wasn't one hundred percent sure between this or the iPad 2 and I think I made the right decision. I would definitely recommend the 32 gigabyte model because you'll need the space with the HD apps. Although I've never owned another tablet I feel like this is the best one out there right now. I recommend this to any person thinking of getting a tablet for the first time.Pros:Awesome screenFastGreat app storeAwesome gamesPerfect for taking notesCons:Not as customizable as AndroidIf you're taking notes for college, I would suggest a stylus for handwritten notes.

This is a very good and amazing product it has lots of new features including the retina display and the A5X chip and it definitely tops last years iPad 2 and arguably the 11.6 in Macbook air.

I'm all ready to get one of these and launch AT&T's 4G LTE so I can finally come into the 21st century. But good grief, the price!!! How much longer before the prices come down? Will they? I'm a hairdresser in Austin, Texas; it's not like I have a lot of cash to spend. So frustrating.

My nontechnical non gadget wife got this as a surprise 40th birthday present. She loves it completely! The only issue she has with it is the lack of rock solid apps that allow complete use and function creating and modifying MS Office documents. Other than that she is smitten.

Of course the NEW IPAD is everything the IPAD 2 is and better but I'm very dissapointed with the Fingerprint-resistant oleophobic coating Apple claims it has, the finger smudges are as visible and annoying as they were in the IPAD 2.Also Apple failed to inform that they had changed the polarity in the IPAD so not all covers in the market ( from third parties) activate the cover lock/unlock option in the settings menu.I bought a non -apple cover with my new IPAD and found it didn't work the lock/unlock option, when I tried the apple cover it did work. My freind used my cover on the IPAD 2 and it worked fine, it just didn't work on the NEW IPAD.So be careful when buying a cover that is not from Apple.

I purchased this new iPad for my wife since her gift for graduation last year was an iPad 2 that ended up being shared by us both. We both have laptops for work, but the ease of use and functionality of the iPad is outstanding. The new camera is head and shoulders above the iPad 2 model, with decreased pixelation and grainy resolution while on FaceTime or taking photographs. I ordered the WiFi-only as our iPad 2 has the 3G which we have not used in nearly a year, and therefore found it unnecessary so I cannot comment on the differences in speed on the 3G/4G platforms.

I really love my ipad. It has beautiful color, very vivid and game playing is a plus on this ipad. The only thing I wish I really had is a usb port and 32gb., but that is the only downfall of this tablet.

Can't really add much to the already known facts. Am enjoying reading my free books: Adventures of Tom Sawyer, Adventures of Huck. Finn, and now of Sherlock Holmes.as per Gutenberg press. Am finding more apps to make it even more useful.

Everybody who I've spoken to who bought an ipad complains that they barely even used them. I bought this one and after two hours on it realized it's a waste of money. First I browsed all the apps in the store to see how this can benefit my life, and it didn't in any way.All the products were immature as if they were meant for 7-year olds. There is nothing of use here for an adult in the professional world. It's a kids toy, or meant for people who don't have many responsibilities, to feel like they do.On another note, this product only costs $499 in stores, Amazon is attempting to charge over $50 higher here, so if you must have it even though I guarantee you will never use it, don't get ripped off by Amazon.

This IPAD 3 is breathe taking!Photos look so amazing on this screen. The only bad thing is once you put photos on you can't get them off to a memory card. This is a great product and I will get another one.

My ipad is coming today, i havent used it yet. but last christmas i thought that a nook tablet was a cheaper version of this, HELL NO. I used to friends ipad 2, 10,000x more apps. Nook and kindle fire dont even have a camera... most of the apps cost money and are a rip off... :/

Hello, I am a professional singer and I am very happy with my new IPAD. I think that it is all that I need to keep my music, my videos, lyrics and I am about to buy an IRIG PRE to make my own sound in my venues.I think that was a good decision to buy the NEW IPAD.

This little gadget is extremely powerful. The 32GB version is all the memory that I will ever need. I like the feature that enables me to access my email from Outlook through our internet provider. The camera is awesome too.

I have had iPads for about a year now. I knew the moment I read all of the updates for the new iPad that I had to have it! I am not disappointed in the least! The retina display alone is worth the price! Pictures and text just literally jump off the screen at you! I have had no issues whatsoever with any part of it. I cannot imagine my life without it! I use it almost as much as I do my iMac! The CLOUD! If you can afford one, GET ONE!I was very pleased with the dealer that I purchased it from as well. Fast shipping! Perfect packaging! YAY AMAZON!

This a Great product, the retina display is simple great, much more stable because of the memory and the graphics in games are much better. The battery size is perfect for it.

I love my ipad3 it is bad too the bone,does all I need and more.playing with the camera is very fun and the games are way better than on iPod writing this review on it as a matter of fact if u have one or are getting one play tribes for iPad it rocks and it's free!!!!!!!!
