I LOVE my iPad. I had the mini but it wasn't the right size for note taking in class so I upgraded to the iPad and it was the best decision I've made. I run a website and use the Feedly app, which loads faster than the desktop client I use sometimes, and I like that I can sync it up to my tv through the Apple TV.

Love it!!Except it doesn't work on certain printers. If you want to print, make sure that it communicates with apple products.

Well, first of all i was well prepaired to receive such a treasure made by apple. Once I got it, I started browsing it and discovering every single feature of it. Some of these features I like more than others, some are Ok and a small number of other features were not found. Those ones that i was looking for were: the stylus, the multitasking feature and i wanted it to be thinner and lighter than this. other than that. IPad3 is a piece of treasure.

I am a huge Apple fan and I was prepared to love my iPad 3. I'm disappointed with battery life and with speed of recharging. It can handle about 90-120 min of surfing the Internet. I read a lot of websites and blogs online and I thought this would be perfect. As others have noted, it heats up - constant browsing for more than an hour makes it very warm. Charging is very sloooow. Mine takes about 5 hours to go from 20% to 100%. The charger that comes with the iPad is a higher wattage than other Apple chargers of the same shape - make sure you don't mix them up if you have an older one. Mine does not gain any charge if I plug it in while I am using it. Do not charge off USB to your computer, way too slow. There are third party chargers on the market with more wattage which you can buy and that will cut a few hours off recharging and I recommend that, but it's another $20-30. These problems are discussed elsewhere on the Internet so I recommend you search and read before buying. On the plus side, the retina display is absolutely beautiful and fantastic.

I returned my I-Pad 3 after a few days use and never knowing if I'd get an email I couldn't read. I only use this I-Pad 4 for watching video or surfing the net and not even plugged into email except for online use. My cable lets me watch its programs on it so also works as a 3rd HDTV. For watching TV or movies its great and the better picture of the I-Pad 4 is more suitable than the 3 if you're upgrading or initial buy. Another plus is it connects to the 5GHz band of my dual band router and rarely has a buffer problem.Apples constant upgrades every few months is a turn off to me and this will be a one time buy - same reason I bought two 3GS phones, runs the new software at a half the price of a new phone every few months. Also have a Nexus 7 and Nook HD+. No one table is a do all like my Asus 1215B 12" laptop. What Apple lacks because of flash & software issues if I could only have one table - Nexus 7 or 10 would be my choice

I just discovered that this device will not print to my wifi enabled printer a Canon MX882. Now I'm stuck. Throw out a perfectly serviceable printer or set up a Dropbox or Evernote just to print form my laptop. Another major example of the hubris that characterizes so many American manufacturers

I picked this up a little over 2 weeks ago at my local Best Buy and really wasn't impressed when I started using it. I always wondered why there was so much hype surrounding Apple products. It's a beautiful tablet, both the body and the screen. I just thought Apple would've shaken things up a bit instead of using the same mundane icon layout etc. The good thing is that it gets the work done that I need, the extras that I want are just not there. For example, no auto-fill when typing URL's, lack of Flash player, no built in HDMI port, no notepad for me to write on unlike the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 and the so-so sound quality. I've gotta tell ya, the Kindle HD sounds way better. There are some other features I wish the iPad had, but I won't get into that.What I'll say is that I like the sturdiness. It feels like they used good quality material to construct this. Battery life is simply amazing, I rarely need to charge it. It connects quickly to the internet. I like the sharp retina display, the ease of transitioning from one app or website to another. It's very smooth, the best I've seen in any tablet and I've purchased and returned a few in my quest to find a really good one (Kindle Fire HD, Blackberry Playbook, Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 & the Asus Transformer TF700T). I think Apple got me by the sheer volume of apps they have and so many of them are free! It's amazing to have such a vast array of apps that are dedicated to this one product.I like it enough to keep it plus I'm tired of returning tablets. I'll just have to learn how to manipulate it. The owner's manual online should really help with this.

I ordered an ipad 4 16gb wifi, but I got one that was an ipad 3 16 gb.Yes, I bought from amazon warehouse deal, nearly $400, but Ipad 4 is an ipad4 , you can not ship another one to replace it?I did not know about the different between 3 and 4, but my daughter knows them very well, she showed me the youtube,the physicaldifference about ipad 3 and 4 is the connection cable, that is why I post my review here, just be careful !!!when you receive any ipad from amazon, make sure, you got what you paid for.

I was hesitant in buying my Ipad but it is the best thing I ever bought! I went from thinking I wanted a Kindle Fire and read all the reviews for both. Almost went with the Kindle BUT I am very happy I decided upon the IPad 4. My grandkids have a Kindle and so does my mother-in-law and they love it. But when my grandkids come over my house the all want my IPad. They fight over it. They say it can do so much more then their Kindle.It has so many apps. It can drive you crazy. It is fast to open and surf the internet and get my email quickly.I am not disappointed at all. The display on the screen is fabulous. I am just trying to get use to not have favorites in a drop down menu. But it is so easy you just have to look at your history or just speak to the ipad and ask them to surf the net and they find the site for you.Taking pictures and sending them is so easy too. I really like that feature.I am not a techy person and found I could not take pictures from my camera and down load them on to my computer. With this IPad it is easy.Well anyway I am very happy with it and glad I made this purchase.

I really wish some instructions are sent now a days. But the longer I have it the better I like it. I have never owned an Apple product before so the OS was really different for me.

I've pondered getting a tablet since Apple launched the original iPad. I thought it was a tad over-priced for what you got, it was technically unproven and it was unknown as to how it would be embraced by the public as well as app developers. Safe to say, those concerns have been resolved. So, I recently purchased a version 3 and saved about ninety bucks off of the original retail price.And the verdict is. . . what a great device! The quality of the fit and finish of the iPad is above reproach. The retina display is stunning (try streaming HD through HBO or Showtime) and it is as smooth as silk from a functionality standpoint. Responsive, intuitive (Siri) and pleasing to look at. Which may lead some to ask, why only 4 stars? First, only one speaker. Second, no way to expand memory. Third, very few options in hooking to other devices. No HDMI, USB, etc. Finally, the corporate decision to not provide for Flash capability. It may sound like there are more cons than pros, but once you get this bad boy in your grubby little paws. . . you're really going to like it. A wealth of apps exist for the iPad with more coming nearly every day. Productivity apps, games, social networking, streaming, photography, etc. A seemingly endless set of choices. If you're app crazy, you can go for the 32mb or 64mb devices, but with the 5gb of provided iCloud space you may be fine with this model.

I upgraded my other iPad to iOS7. OOPS! This iPad will be kept on iOS6. I believe the iPad is the best tablet available but the company is forcing me to consider the competition.

Seriously, this thing is SO MUCH fun!! No complaints whatsoever!There's a bit of a learning curve, but having had an iPhone for a couple of years, it was an easy transition, since they both work basically the same way. Even if it's your first Apple product ever, you will not regret it and will learn all the ins and outs very quickly!Love the way I can go from the couch to bed to the kitchen.. anywhere really.. and never have to stop in the middle of what I'm doing!Absolutely recommend this to everyone!
