My wife could not learn to use a computer with mouse control. To compound the problem, she is left handed and even changing the left/right click buttons didn't seem to help. I bought the Apple IPad because of the touch feature and hoped it would help her to learn faster. The IPad was much easier for her to learn than the mouse control. After showing her the basics of operation, she didn't need my help anymore. She quickly learned how to access Google, Facebook, Shopping sites and much more. I also bought a touch stylus to help where some apps had very small print. The Apple IPad is the perfect solution for people that don't have confidence with mouse connected computers. Some of the apps that can be downloaded still leave something to be desired. Haven't found a voice control app that will work to our satisfaction. The Apple IPad is a state-of-the-art communication wonder!

I am so happy I bought this "Christmas" present for myself. This is all new to me so I am slowly learning all the things I can do on my IPad. I am technologically challenged, but I find using the IPad is easier than I expected. I have nothing to compare this to as I have always had a desktop computer and know very little about all the technology out there. All I can say is that I like it and I'm happy.

I am a grandmother, over 65, and not especially savvy about technology, but thre iPad is SO EASY to use and I love it so much, I almost can't stand myself.The photos of my grandchildren are heartbreakingly beautiful and I spend hours scrolling through.I also have spent hours shopping sales, sending email and googling all kind of things....so be warned.It is so wildly fantastic to have an iPad, I recommend it for everyone!

My first Apple product. Does everything you want it to. Runs fast and easy to operate. I have had it for a month. Plays movies perfect. Resolution is awesome. Would highly recommend.

I ended giving this to my mom and getting the nexus 7, I am so glad i made the decision to go with google!!!Save yourself the trouble and buy a nexus tablet!

Apple is always superior with these gadgets. Especially now that they are more affordable. What i didn't liked was the way it was packed to another box. There were no added security in it. Then top and bottom box was not taped...

I gave this to my husband for Christmas. I wish he would just put it down. It is great for someone as busy as my husband. No more carrying a bulky laptop.

This is my second iPad. Love the improvements; the crystal-clear screen, the camera and the upgraded speed. I've had a Kindle Fire and a Nook -- and there are dozens of other tablets available -- but NOTHING compares to an iPad. Period.

My mother got one of these for her teaching job. Being an Android fan, I looked at it. I was not impressed because:(1) Its almost the same exact thing as the iPad 2. (Ooh Retina display! Great.)(2) It runs iOs, not Android. Enough said.(3) Not much different from other tablets. (And the iPad was NOT the first tablet.)Though their are some pros:(1) Makes a GREAT paperweight! I can not tell you how many papers this thing could hold down!(2) Efficient weapon. The screen breaks so easily that if you are under attack, grab the nearest iPad (check the trash cans, you will find one within your first few tries) break the screen, and defend yourself with the glass!

the iPad was used and no new as advertised, the back has scratches. and the iPad had a different plastic cover that was not the original. In the information the never mention it was used.

This is my first IPAD. I love it , Need to learn how to better use it - as there are so many things it can do - which I am probably not using.I watch netflicks on this and to play games while I am travelling.Love the quality of pictures etc.Great productWould recommend to others

I bought this to get myself to go out and give myself a freedom to use whenever i need to so I don't have to run around looking for WIFI when I need to use the internet. I'm a big apple products fan and I've had iPad 1, iPad 2 and now this iPad 3 with 4G. I love how apple's quality is all the time and appreciate the superior design. It solid and works great! BUT I'm returning this product since I found cheaper solution with signing up 4G Hotspot which I can connect multiple devices with at the same time so I can just use my iPad 2 wifi on the hotspot with my kids Idolpad Plus tablets at the same time using the hotspot. This is great product but for my budget, I'm getting 1 more idolpad plus tablet(android tablet for just over $100) for my other kid and just signing up for 4G hotspot is a lot cheaper and everyone could be on the internet at the same time. So it works out better for me. Only if iPads were a little cheaper I wish..

I really like this tablet and am very glad I waited to by it until several generations were available to learn from. 32 GB is VERY sufficent for me for both personal and business uses.

I stayed with the iPad 3 to keep my connection cables all the same as my other apple devices. The Retina display is fantastic, aand the unit functioned great out of the box.

Great purchase. Great item. Would definitely recommend the IPad to both young and older alike.More convenient and easier to use than my laptop.

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my husband, and he absolutely LOVES it! He takes it with him everywhere he goes. The picture is outstanding and the sound is great too. I do recommend getting a Life Proof case for this!
