The seller was great and this arrived 3 days earlier than what was expected! I love it and it came in excellent condition. I don't know what a lot of people are talking about this iPad 4 having problems connecting to their wireless Internet and crashing a lot. This hasn't happened to me once yet and I'm not saying it hasn't happened to them but it is probably their internet's fault and not the device's fault because I have like the cheapest Internet and the cheapest Internet router but mine connects fine and hasn't crashed once. So that should tell you something. This is my first iPad and the only thing I will complain about is the battery life. It is terrible but then again I'm on mine a lot since I need it so much with making YouTube videos and doing my other work on it like my poetry. This is my only computer so I rely on it a ton. It is reliable in everything else though so I just suggest that you keep a wall adapter and charger handy wherever you are.

This seller sold me a 3rd generation iPad that was exactly as presented and had the added bonus of a charging cable included, though their generic ad said that it was just the iPad itself. I am making this review with that very iPad! Thank you!

5 months after purchasing this item from the seller, the IPad completely shut down. Seller did nothing to help after I contacted him/her regarding the IPad. Had to go to an Apple Store, and spent 5-6 hours there with technicians looking over the IPad which eventually had to be replaced. There was a defect in the display.

I can't believe this thing cost 400 bucks. Ill never do without it. You will see that once you have one you will not want anything else. And it is very well made--durable. I have dropped it, sat on it, and nothing. I cant wait for the next one to come out.

It's surprisingly productive, not just a toy as some have said. Next time I would probably get the version with cell service not just wifi. There are times, when traveling where it would be better to have all the time Internet connectivity and not have to hunt around for a wifi hotspot. Or definitely purchase mobile hotspot service if you get this model. This model doesn't have built in GPS like cellular model. That means if you plan on using this for GPS on the go, then you must purchase a separate gps to plug in (80-90$) and also pay for mobile wifi. So if you plan to use gps function, might be more cost effective to pay a little more up front for cellular version to save in added cost and inconvenience of hooking up this model for GPS use.

i had to send it back. the network connection function just wouldn't work correctly. it took forever to get a connection, even sitting less than 10 feet from the router in my favorite coffee shop. those around me having no problems, but me just patiently waiting for a connection, then being disconnected within a minute or so. definitely had a bad machine. for $600, i expect better.

When considering the purchase of the newest iPad, please take the time to compare cost with other sites, such as Apple or eBay. I purchased this item through Amazon because they offered the best price. Also, when purchasing big ticket items like this, make sure to use Amazon Prime. My iPad is mainly for personal use and I'm enjoying every minute of it! Thanks!

Great retina display really displays pictures well. Using with my clients with TBI, this and the great variety of games/apps available will really be a great needed assist in my line of work.Purchased the Otter Box case to protect it.

Heavier than predecessor. Battery is running fine. GPS is failing more than its predecessor lo locate and mantain the communication with satellites. Still working on that... Expensive and Apple could finally add at least a card reader or an USB port. iTUNES is a "monster" software.

I bought this for my 8 year old son. Locked it down through the restrictions in the IOS and it it great. Paired it with an Apple Airport Extreme 5.0ghz router and it flies. 16 gig is plenty of space IF you have a home Itunes server with your movies and audio on it. IF you intend on loading it up with videos, it will fill fast. Facetime is awesome as the kids can facetime grandma instead of visiting, Ah-HA! Worth the price right there. The Ipad will make your life easier with the internet and personal stuff- email, video, etc. You will love it.

This was a birthday gift for my husband, to replace an earlier edition iPad. Item arrived promptly and in good condition. The only disappointment was that the iPad Air came out within a couple weeks of the purchase, so it felt like I paid full price for the "old" edition.

I bought this device *cough* used about 3 months ago. There isn't a single day when it hasn't had use, including a trip to New York and Boston. My previous tablet was the original ASUS Transformer which had started to languish in the corner of my office because of its lack of screen responsiveness.The advantages of the ASUS over the Ipad is the openness of the file system. That's my only gripe with the Ipad (not jailbroken), is that you can't just store files on the device without the use of a specific program. (Ipad users will know what I mean.)The battery life on the Ipad is pretty impressive. With my ASUS, I would have to charge it almost every night, but the Ipad just keeps going and going. That battery capacity comes with a price, much longer charging times.Otherwise, a really amazing device that appeals to all ages.

Since I own an iPad 2nd generation (just gave to daughter), iPad Mini, iPhone, iPod, and Kindle Fire, I purchased this larger screen for camera upgrade, and use of DISH Anywhere, HBO GO, etc. for travel/cruising. Hope the Wi-Fi/AT&T feature will enable me to use on a cruise in our stateroom and not have to pay exorbitant prices in a "shared" computer room. Now my husband and I both, with our 2 upgraded iPads, can hopefully entertain ourselves when we travel. Wanted also to have the most current w/128 GB and Wi-Fi + AT&T. Love it! However, I still find the data plan and the iCloud data confusing. When I started this technology "journey," I would have like to have been told that, even after purchasing the product, there are other fees required, which run up the usage bill.Steel MagnoliaBeautiful Smoky Mts.Sevierville, TN

Gotta be upfront, I thought the ipad was ridiculous when it was first announced. It seemed like a giant iphone and a quick way for Apple to once again cash in. Boy was I wrong.It's been less than a week since I got my iPad and I can't imagine being without it. What prompted the purchase was the need to efficiently and quickly take notes for my job that I could later transform into a memo. It does that. I then rediscovered my love for comics with my subscription to the marvel app. HBO Go makes being away from home and catching up on some of my favorite shows a regular thing. Heck, I don't have a tv in my bedroom but I can now watch live cable tv via an app and the experience is great. I could go on and on. The kindle app, youtube, amazon prime...the list goes on and on, and its only been one week. I love the thing and couldn't recommend it more.
